Delhi Cantonment Assembly constituency

Delhi Cantonment (popularly referred to as Delhi Cantt) is a Class I Cantonment Board established in 1914. The area of the Cantonment is 10,452 acres (42.30 km2) and the population of the Cantonment as per the 2011 census is 110,351. The Cantonment is governed by the Cantonments Act, 2006 while various policy letters and instructions from the Ministry of Defence pertaining to the area are issued from time to time. Although the board functions as a local municipal body, it remains under the administrative control of the Directorate General Defence Estates, New Delhi and Principal Director, Defence Estates, Western Command, Chandigarh.It is one of three local bodies in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, the others being Municipal Corporation of Delhi and New Delhi Municipal Council.

Situated in Delhi Cantt, the school is an English medium school affiliated to CBSE boards of Delhi, and run by Loreto Educational Society (Loreto Nuns), associated with Sisters of Loreto, a Roman Catholic dominion founded in 1609. It was first established in January 1965 at 28, Mall Road, with Mother Francis Clare as the Founder Principal, it later shifted to its present location in July 1966.

University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) is a medical college in Delhi, India, affiliated with the University of Delhi. It is associated with Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, which serves as the teaching hospital.

South West Delhi is one of the eleven administrative districts of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in India. Kapashera serves as the administrative headquarters of South West Delhi. South West Delhi is bounded by the districts of West Delhi to the north, Central Delhi to the northeast, New Delhi and South Delhi to the east, Gurgaon District of Haryana state to the south, and Jhajjar District of Haryana to the west. South West Delhi has a population of 2,292,958 (2011 census), and an area of 420 km², with a population density of 5,445 inhabitants per square kilometer. It is the fourth most populous district in Delhi. The district court that functions under the Delhi High Court for South West Delhi is also located in Dwarka Sector 10. Administratively, the district is divided into three subdivisions, Dwarka, Najafgarh and Kapashera.

The Indian Air Force Museum, Palam, is the museum of the Indian Air Force, and is located at the Palam Air Force Station in Delhi, India. The museum was the only one of its kind in India until the opening of the Naval Aviation Museum in Goa in 1998 and HAL Aerospace Museum in Bangalore in 2001. It showcases the history of the IAF. The museum is managed by AVM Vikram Singh, a second generation test pilot, historian, and author of war books.

Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, located at Subroto Park, Delhi Cantonment, India, is a school run by the Indian Air Force Educational and Cultural Society. It was founded in 1985. The school has an auditorium named as Rabindralaya. There are three separate 'wings' in the school. The Special wing is dedicated for education of special needs. The Junior wing has classes Kindergarten to V. The Senior wing has classes VI to XII. The school was established primarily for the benefit of children of Indian Air Force personnel. It is open to children of Army and Navy personnel as well as to civilians. The Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute is a co-educational public school. The school, and its sister schools, Air Force Bal Bharati School and The Air Force School are run by the Indian Air Force Educational and Cultural Society.

The Sadar Bazaar Cantonment metro station is located on the Magenta Line of the Delhi Metro. It was opened to public on 29 May 2018.

The Air Force School (TAFS), formerly known as Air Force Central School (AFCS), was set up primarily to provide education to the children of Indian Air Force personnel. It was founded in 1955 by the Air Marshal Subroto Mukherjee, the Chief of Air Staff. It was established in temporary wartime barracks at Wellingdon Camp, Club Road, New Delhi on 18 July 1955 to educate children of Officers and Airmen of the Indian Air Force. In May 1967, the school shifted to its present location Aravali Campus location in Subroto Park, Delhi Cantonment; it had been located in New Delhi near the present residence of the Prime Minister. The school celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 1980 when the word "Central" was dropped from the name. The school is a co-educational public institute affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It has boarding facilities for boys of classes VI to XII. It has classes from Kindergarten to Class XII. The school is situated on the Aravali ridge. The school has an auditorium named as Aravali Hall. There are two separate 'wings' in the school. The junior wing has classes Kindergarten to V. The senior wing has classes VI to XII. Although the school was established primarily for the benefit of children belonging to the IAF personnel, it has always been open to wards of Army and Navy personnel as well as to civilians. The school, and its sister schools, Air Force Bal Bharati School (AFBBS) and the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute (AFGJI) are run by the Indian Air Force Educational and Cultural Society.

The Delhi War Cemetery, in the Delhi Cantonment, Delhi, India, is the site of the graves of 1,154 service personnel who served the British Empire during the First and Second World Wars. The cemetery was established in 1951 to ensure the permanent preservation of the remains of soldiers across various cemeteries in northern India. At the entrance to the cemetery is the Delhi 1939–1945 War Memorial honouring the efforts of Indian forces during both world wars. The Delhi 1914-18 Memorial, commemorating 153 individuals buried in the Meerut Cantonment, where graves could no longer be cared for, is also on the site. The cemetery was commissioned by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and is now jointly maintained with the Government of India and its Ministry of Defence.
