Hitcham War Memorial is located outside St Mary's Church, Hitcham Lane, Hitcham, Buckinghamshire, England. It is a grade II listed building with Historic England and commemorates men who died in the First and Second World Wars.

Burnham F.C. is a non-League football club based in Burnham in Buckinghamshire, near Slough. They currently compete in the Combined Counties League Premier Division North. The team play in blue and white shirts and white shorts. The club was taken over by new owners; Glenn Skivington and Nas Bashir, prior to the 2018-19 season. Home matches are played at The 1878 Stadium, previously known as The Gore, which has been recently redeveloped to include a new 3G pitch, supporter stand and club facilities.

Taplow railway station serves the village of Taplow in Buckinghamshire, England. It is 22 miles 39 chains (36.2 km) down the line from London Paddington and is situated between Burnham to the east and Maidenhead to the west. Currently, all eastbound trains terminate at Abbey Wood; most westbound services terminate at Reading, with a few peak-time services terminating at Maidenhead.

There are two conservation areas in the parish, the Taplow Village Conservation Area and the Taplow Riverside Conservation Area. Footpaths connect all parts of the parish to Maidenhead Bridge and to Burnham Beeches, a modest, hilly wood marking the start of the Chiltern Hills.

All Nations Bible College was a missionary college in London, founded in 1892. By 1923 it was headed by F. B. Meyer, who also presided over the All Nations Missionary Union. The college trained single men and married couples. In 1962, the college changed its name to All Nations Missionary College. In 1964, it moved from Taplow, in Buckinghamshire, to Easneye Mansion near Ware. In 1971, the college merged with two other missionary schools to become All Nations Christian College. The current school can accommodate 100 students in their Easneye Mansion complex, which coincidentally is dissected by the prime meridian line.

The E-ACT Burnham Park Academy was a co-educational academy in Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England until it closed in 2019 due to falling pupil numbers. It. A small part of the campus is located in neighbouring Slough, Berkshire. The academy was sponsored by E-ACT, and had approximately 235 pupils.The school operated as a comprehensive school in a selective local authority. Approximately 40% of students came from Buckinghamshire, with the remainder coming from West Slough. In 2021, the Netflix series Heartstopper was filmed on the grounds of the school after its closure.

Nashdom, also known as Nashdom Abbey, is a former country house and former Anglican Benedictine abbey in Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England. Designed in Neo-Georgian style by architect Edwin Lutyens, it is a Grade II* listed building. It was converted into apartments in 1997. The gardens are Grade II listed in the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

Burnham is a large village and civil parish that lies north of the River Thames in Buckinghamshire, between the towns of Maidenhead and Slough, about 24 miles west of Charing Cross, London. It is probably best known for the nearby Burnham Beeches woodland. The village is served by Burnham railway station on the main line between London Paddington and Reading. The M4 motorway passes through the south of the parish.

The Canadian Red Cross Memorial Hospital in Taplow, Buckinghamshire, was a civilian hospital and a centre for research into rheumatism in children until its closure in 1985.

Taplow Court is a Victorian house in the village of Taplow in Buckinghamshire, England. Its origins are an Elizabethan manor house, remodelled in the early 17th century. In the 18th century the court was owned by the Earls of Orkney. In the 1850s, the court was sold to Charles Pascoe Grenfell, whose descendants retained ownership until after the Second World War. The court then served as a corporate headquarters for British Telecommunications Research (BTR) an independent research company set up in 1946. BTR was subsequently acquired by Plessey Electronics. In 1988 it was bought by the Buddhist foundation, Soka Gakkai International and serves as their UK headquarters. The court is a Grade II listed building, and its present appearance is due to a major rebuilding undertaken by William Burn for Charles Grenfell in 1855-1860. In the early 20th century, the court was home to William Grenfell and his wife Ettie. She was a noted Edwardian hostess, and Taplow Court became a gathering place for The Souls, a group of aristocratic intellectuals.

Taplow Lake is a 30-acre (120,000 m2) lake just south of the A4 between Maidenhead and Slough in Amerden Lane, Buckinghamshire. Recreational activities on the lake include swimming, wakeboarding and waterskiing. A café is also located here serving breakfast and lunch.

Bavin's Gulls or Sloe Grove Islands are a group of islands in the River Thames in England on the reach known as Cliveden Deep above Boulter's Lock, near Maidenhead, Berkshire. This reach of the Thames was described by Jerome K. Jerome in Three Men in a Boat as "unbroken loveliness this is, perhaps, the sweetest stretch of all the river...". Bavin's Gulls consists of two large and two small thin wooded strips; they are part of the Cliveden Estate and are owned by the National Trust. Overnight mooring is permitted on three of the islands but no mooring or landing is permitted on the fourth which is a nature reserve.
