Tylers Common, also known as Upminster Common, is common land in the London Borough of Havering. It is one of the largest areas of common land in Greater London, with 32.06 hectares (79.2 acres) of protected commons.

Harold Wood railway station is on the Great Eastern Main Line in east London, serving the Harold Wood area of Romford in the London Borough of Havering. It is 14 miles 76 chains (24.1 km) down the line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between Gidea Park and Brentwood. Its three-letter station code is HRO and it is in Travelcard zone 6. The station is currently managed by Transport for London and is on the Elizabeth line between Shenfield and London Paddington.

Redden Court School is a secondary school with academy status located in Harold Wood, Romford, Havering, England. The school serves 866 students age 11 to 16. In 2003, the Queen visited the local area of Romford and made a special stop at the school. A student from Redden Court School had written to the Queen asking her to visit. In 2012, the percentage of pupils achieving 5 A*-C GCSEs (or equivalents) including English and maths GCSEs was 53%.

The Campion School is a Roman Catholic boys' secondary school and coeducational sixth form in Hornchurch, London, England. The school converted to academy status in August 2011, and has a specialism in science.

Harold Wood is a suburban neighbourhood in East London in the London Borough of Havering. It is situated 16.5 miles (26.6 km) east-northeast of Charing Cross. Harold Wood was part of the ancient parish of Hornchurch, which became the Liberty of Havering. Most of the current area of Harold Wood became part of Hornchurch Urban District in 1926. It is near to the Greater London boundary with Essex.

The River Ingrebourne is a tributary of the River Thames 27 miles (43.3 km) in length. It is considered a strategic waterway in London, forming part of the Blue Ribbon Network. It flows through the London Borough of Havering roughly from north to south, joining the Thames at Rainham.

Emerson Park is a suburban neighbourhood near Hornchurch in the London Borough of Havering, east London. Predominantly affluent and residential, it is located approximately 15 miles (24.1 km) north-east of Charing Cross. It is part of the Hornchurch post town and forms part of the Hornchurch and Upminster Parliamentary constituency.

Harold Wood Hospital was a hospital in east London, United Kingdom. It was located in Gubbins Lane, Harold Wood in Romford, in the London Borough of Havering. It was managed by Barking, Havering and Redbridge Hospitals NHS Trust. The Havering Campus of London South Bank University, an NHS polyclinic and a long term conditions unit continue to operate at the hospital site, and a residential development by Countryside Properties known as Kings Park is in development.

Upminster was a constituency of the House of Commons in east London, which returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, elected by the first-past-the-post voting system. It was created for the 1974 general election, and abolished for the 2010 general election.

The Upminster Tithe Barn Museum of Nostalgia is a small museum located in Upminster in the London Borough of Havering, London, England. It is located at OS grid reference TQ564877. It is owned by Havering London Borough Council and run in partnership with the Hornchurch and District Historical Society. The museum holds around 14,500 artifacts of domestic and agricultural use. As of July 2006, it is open at selected weekends only from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from April to October. The museum opened in 1976. The thatched barn in which the museum is located was built in 1450 by the nearby priory (dependent on Waltham Abbey). Although commonly known as the Tithe Barn, the building was never used for the collection of tithes and a grange barn might be a more accurate designation (Upminster's real tithe barn adjoined the rectory in what is now Gridiron Place). Upminster station is the nearest National Rail and London Underground station. The Upminster Tithe Barn Museum is served by London Buses route 248.
