Frédéric-Back Park

The Saint-Michel environmental complex is a large multi-functional park in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located in borough of Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension on the site of a former limestone quarry, the Miron Quarry. Its current area is 192 hectares (120 acres), and has 5.5 kilometres (3.4 mi) of pathways. The 192-hectare area originally was a limestone quarry, in 1968 it was converted into a landfill of 75 hectares. In 1984 it was acquired by the city of Montreal to transform it into an environmental technology and education complex. The majority of the area is taken up by the Frédéric-Back Park, which sits atop 40 million tonnes of garbage contained in the landfill.

Situated in the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the CESM Soccer Center is a dedicated enclosed facility primarily designed for soccer activities which officially opened in 2015.Designed by Saucier+Perrotte Architectes in collaboration with HCMA Architecture+Design, the center offers expansive indoor spaces accommodating multiple soccer fields on an annual basis. Additionally, the project encompasses an outdoor soccer area for use during favorable weather conditions. The architectural design of the building aims to pay homage to the historical land usage upon which the center stands.

Collège André-Grasset is a private college in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located near the Quebec Autoroute 40 and the Crémazie metro station. The college was founded in 1927 by the priests of Saint-Sulpice Seminary (Montreal) and named after priest and martyr André Grasset.The school was built at the request of the Archbishop of Montreal. In 1975, the school opened a gym, and a multipurpose room was inaugurated in 1990. Since 2003, the college offers technical training courses at the Institute Grasset. The school's president is Isabelle Foisy and its director is Patrick Caron.

The National Circus School (French: École nationale de cirque) is a professional circus school located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is for higher education in the art of circus. The NCS also offers academic subjects at the secondary and college levels. It is one of the only circus school in the Americas to offer professional programs in circus arts: Preparatory program, Circus and High School Studies, and Higher Education in Circus arts. Papineau (formerly Papineau—Saint-Denis and Papineau—Saint-Michel) is a federal electoral district in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 1948. Its population in 2016 was 110,750. Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada and Leader of the Liberal Party, has represented the riding since the 2008 federal election. Trudeau became Liberal leader in a 2013 leadership election, succeeding Bob Rae, and prime minister when the Liberals returned to government in the 2015 Canadian federal election, succeeding Conservative leader Stephen Harper. The name of the riding comes from a street in the Villeray neighbourhood, named after Joseph Papineau. At nine square kilometres, it covers the second smallest area of any federal riding in Canada after Toronto Centre. Linguistically, 45% of residents list French as their mother tongue, 8% list English, and 47% list neither English nor French, with large groups speaking Spanish, Italian, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Pashtu, Bengali, Greek and Arabic. Immigrants make up 40 percent of the riding's population.

Saint-Michel is a neighbourhood in the Montreal borough of Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension. It is named for a colonial-era road in the neighbourhood. Its boundaries correspond to the former city of Ville Saint Michel, which was annexed to Montreal in 1968. This former independent city was known as Saint-Michel-de-Laval from its inception in 1912 to 1914 and Ville Saint Michel from 1914 to 1968. This was one of the last cities to be merged into Montreal until the 2002 municipal reorganization.
