Linne is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Maasgouw, and lies about 6 km southwest of Roermond.

Maasgouw (Dutch pronunciation: [maːsˈxʌu]) is a municipality in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located on both banks of the river Meuse southwest of the city of Roermond. It was formed in a merger of the former municipalities of Heel, Maasbracht and Thorn on 1 January 2007. The municipality contains a number of towns and villages:

Heel (Dutch: [ɦeːl] ; Limburgish: Hael) is a village and former municipality in the southeastern Netherlands. The village is located near the E25 motorway and the river Meuse.

More than half of the population, approximately 650,000 people, live in the south of Limburg, which corresponds to roughly one-third of the province's area proper. In South Limburg, most people live in the urban agglomerations of Maastricht, Parkstad and Sittard-Geleen.

The 1992 Roermond earthquake occurred on 13 April, around 3:20 AM (1:20 UTC) with a moment magnitude of 5.3 and a maximum Mercalli intensity of VIII (Severe). Striking on the Peel Boundary Fault, a normal fault near Roermond, it was the strongest recorded earthquake in the Netherlands and in Northwestern Europe, and caused substantial damage to older buildings in the Netherlands and adjacent countries of Belgium and Germany. A series of aftershocks followed.

Wessem is a small city in the Netherlands, in the province of Limburg. Wessem is a part of the municipality of Maasgouw. It received city rights around 1320.

Maasbracht (Dutch: [maːzˈbrɑxt] ; Limburgish: Brach [ˈbʀɑx]) is a town in the southeastern Netherlands. It was a separate municipality until 1 January 2007, when it became a part of the new municipality of Maasgouw.

Horn is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Leudal, and lies about 5 km northwest of Roermond.

Herten is a village in the southeastern Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Roermond, Limburg.

Panheel is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Maasgouw, and lies about 9 km south-west of Roermond. The village was first mentioned in 1417 or 1418 as Panhedel. The etymology is unclear.Panheel was home to 175 people in 1840. In 1875, a chapel was built. Panheel was never elevated to a parish, however it is considered a village by the municipality.The Boschmolenplas is a lake which formed as a result of gravel excavation. It has a diameter of 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) and has clear water with a visibility of 12 metres. It is therefore, a popular diving spot.

Da Vinci is a restaurant in Maasbracht in the Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that is awarded one Michelin star for the period 1999-2008 and again from 2018 to present. From 2008 till 2018 it was awarded with two stars. GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 17.0 points (out of 20).The restaurant is a member of Alliance Gastronomique Néerlandaise, a Dutch/Belgian culinary association of quality restaurants and the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

Baexem (Limburgish: Boaksum/Boakse) is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Leudal, and lies about 9 kilometres northwest of Roermond.
