Billingsley is a small village and civil parish in Shropshire, England. It is located 6 miles (9.7 km) south of Bridgnorth and lies in the diocese of Hereford. The village is situated on the B4363 road, south of Deuxhill. Between the two parishes flows the Horsford Brook. The village itself is in an area covering approximately 1302 acres. The eastern boundary of the village is formed by the Borle Brook. The parish is directly above coal measures that belong to the Wyre Forest Coalfield.

Highley is a large village in Shropshire, England, on the west bank of the River Severn and 7 miles south east of Bridgnorth, the closest cities being Wolverhampton and Birmingham.

Country Park Halt is an unstaffed request stop on the Severn Valley Railway heritage line in Shropshire, situated near the west bank of the River Severn, about 300 yards north of the footbridge between Highley and Alveley in the Severn Valley. The halt was opened on 4 April 1996 as part of an initiative by Bridgnorth district council (who paid for it) to serve the Severn Valley Country Park. It now features a red-brick shelter. The halt has replaced Alveley Halt (situated half a kilometre to the south), which was closed in 1963 and not reopened by the SVR. The halt is built on what was formerly the site of the "Alveley sidings", where coal from Alveley Colliery was loaded onto freight trains. The halt, like much of the Country Park, is on National Cycle Route 45 and has a purpose-built low-incline cycle path from the nearby bridge (which also forms part of the cycle route). The cycle path is also convenient for wheelchair access. The cycle route and associated footpaths lead through the numerous glades, picnic areas and nature reserves of the Country Park. The nearest public toilets are located about a kilometre away, on the east side of the river (Alveley), uphill at the Country Park Visitors' Centre, which also hosts a café at peak periods. There is no highway access to Country Park Halt, and trains stop there only on request during hours of daylight. Passengers wishing to board should hold up their hand (any polite hand signal will do, although the traditional one is an open palm held aloft). Passengers wishing to alight should alert the driver or guard when boarding the train. The train driver will be aware that the stop is by request only, and will slow down through the halt looking for passengers.

Alveley Halt was a halt on the original Severn Valley Line, situated between the villages of Highley and Alveley, in the English county of Shropshire. The station, which was not re-opened by the heritage Severn Valley Railway, has been replaced by the adjacent Country Park Halt around one-quarter of a mile (0.4 km) up the line.

Kinlet Hall is an 18th-century, 33,609 square feet (3,122 m2) English country house at Kinlet, Shropshire, England, now occupied by an independent day and residential school. It is a Grade I listed building and its design was inspired by Villa Pisani, Montagnana. The manor of Kinlet was held by the Brampton and Cornwall families until it passed via his maternal ancestors to Humphrey Blount (of the Sodington Hall family), who was High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1461. It later passed to Rowland Lakyn (or Lacon), High Sheriff in 1571, through the female line and subsequently by the marriage of a Lacon daughter and heiress who married Sir William Childe. The old manor house was replaced in 1727–1729 by William Lacon Childe, who commissioned architect Francis Smith of Warwick to create the present Palladian style mansion. The brick-built, east-facing, three-storey, seven-bayed central block is flanked by single-storey wings and two smaller detached two-storey blocks; the block to the north originally housed stables and the block to the south the kitchens. The Childe family were resident at Kinlet Hall until the 20th century. During World War II, the house was occupied by the United States Army and afterwards acquired by Moffats Independent School. In June 2020, Kinlet Hall was placed for sale for £3.5 million. A Great Western Railway Hall class locomotive No. 4936 is named Kinlet Hall.

Highley railway station is a station on the Severn Valley Railway heritage line in Shropshire, near the west bank of the River Severn and just under a mile south-east of the village of Highley. Highley is the only staffed single-platform station on the line. Other stops with one platform are unstaffed halts.

Hampton Loade railway station is a station on the Severn Valley Railway heritage line, close to the hamlet of Hampton on the western bank of the River Severn; Hampton Loade itself is on the eastern bank, and can no longer be reached by the Hampton Loade Ferry across the river as this has ceased operation.

Chelmarsh Reservoir is a water supply reservoir located in the village of Chelmarsh, Shropshire. The reservoir is operated by South Staffordshire Water and was created in 1963 to augment the supply of water in a large area of South Staffordshire and the Black Country. The main source of water to the reservoir is from abstraction from the River Severn. The reservoir is the main source of supply for Sedgley beacon service reservoir that feeds potable water to some parts of Wolverhampton. Chelmarsh Reservoir attracts many species of wild birds.

St Peter's Church is in the village of Chelmarsh, Shropshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Bridgnorth, the archdeaconry of Ludlow, and the diocese of Hereford. Its benefice is united with those of seven other churches to form the benefice of Highley with Billingsley, Glazeley and Deuxhill, and Chelmarsh. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building.

Kinlet is a small village and civil parish in the south-east of the county of Shropshire, England. The parish is on the northern edge of the Wyre Forest and is in the Bridgnorth District of Shropshire. The parish incorporates the hamlets of Kinlet Village, Button Bridge and Button Oak. Kinlet is located 18 miles (29 km) south of Telford, the main town in Shropshire and 23 miles (37 km) west of Birmingham. The village is located in the centre of the parish. Its parish has a population of 680 according to the 2001 census, The land within the parish totals 8,164 acres (3,304 ha; 12.756 sq mi). increasing to 901 at the 2011 census. There is little in terms of employment in the parish, with residents travelling to nearby towns and cities.

Coppicegate is a small settlement in Shropshire, England. It is beside the Wyre Forest and is 10 kilometres (6 mi) northwest of Kidderminster.

Chelmarsh is a village and civil parish in the English county of Shropshire. It lies 4 miles south of Bridgnorth on the B4555 road to Highley.
