Neufchâteau (Walloon: Noû Tchestê) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Dalhem, located in the province of Liège, Belgium. Prior to 1977 Neufchâteau was a municipality of its own. As of 2005, it has 854 inhabitants.

Mortroux (Walloon: Mwetrou) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Dalhem, located in the province of Liège, Belgium. Prior to 1977 Mortroux was a municipality of its own.

Val-Dieu Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery in Wallonia in the Berwinne valley near Aubel in the Pays de Herve (province of Liège, Belgium).

Hacboister is a hamlet of the municipality of Herve, Wallonia, district of Bolland, located in the province of Liège, Belgium. It is 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) east of Herstal.

Voeren (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈvuːrə(n)] ; French: Fourons [fuʁɔ̃]) is a Flemish Dutch-speaking municipality with facilities for the French-speaking minority, located in the Belgian province of Limburg. Bordering the Netherlands to the north and the Wallonia region's Liège Province (Dutch: Luik) to the south, it is geographically detached from the rest of Flanders, making Voeren an exclave of Flanders. Voeren's name is derived from that of a small right-bank tributary of the Meuse, the Voer, which flows through the municipality. The current municipality of Voeren was established by the municipal reform of 1977. On 1 January 2008, Voeren had a total population of 4,207. Its total area is 50.63 km2 (19.55 sq mi), giving a population density of 83 inhabitants per square kilometre (210/sq mi). About 25% of the population is made up of foreign nationals, most of whom have Dutch nationality.

Bolland Castle (French: Château de Bolland) is a castle in the municipality of Herve, Liège Province, Wallonia, Belgium. The keep remains from the medieval building, and several other parts from the 16th century. Major works were carried out in the 17th century. The medieval owners were the d'Houffalize and Brandenberg families, followed in the 16th-17th centuries by those of d'Eynatten, Berlo and Groesbeek. The de Lannoys acquired it in the 17th century and retained it until the 19th, when it became the property of the de Berlaymonts. Baron Adhemar de Royer de Dour de Fraula acquired it from them in 1920, and his descendants still live there. The castle was once surrounded by a moat. Nearby there were also formerly the remains of a convent of Recollects founded in the 17th century by Jean de Berlo, lord of Bolland, and his wife Marguerite d'Eynatten.

Dalhem (French pronunciation: ​[dalɛm]; Walloon: Dålem) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On 1 January 2012 Dalhem had a total population of 6,996. The total area is 36.06 km² which gives a population density of 180 inhabitants per km². The name Dalhem is of Germanic origin and means "place of residence in the valley" (lit. dale home/dale ham).

Blegny-Mine was a coal mine in Trembleur, near Liège, in Belgium which today is preserved as an industrial heritage site and show mine. The museum features on the European Route of Industrial Heritage and is one of the four historical mines in Wallonia listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2012. Mining at the site was begun by the monks of Val-Dieu Abbey in the 16th century. The first mine shaft was sunk in 1779 and expanded throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries. In 1883, two concession companies in the region merged but went bankrupt in 1887. Mining at the site was taken up by the Société anonyme des Charbonnages d'Argenteau in 1919. The mine's headframe was destroyed by the Belgian Army in 1940 and many of the surviving features of the site date to the post-World War II period. At its height in 1970, it produced 232,000 tonnes (228,000 long tons; 256,000 short tons) of coal per year and employed 680 workers. It was one of the last active coal mines in the Province of Liège, closing after subsidies were withdrawn following the 1973 oil crisis, in 1980. The mine was transformed into a museum soon after its closure. Today the museum receives between 140,000 and 160,000 visitors each year.

Blegny (French pronunciation: ​[bleɲi], before 2001: Blégny; Walloon: Blegné) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the Province of Liège, Belgium. On January 1, 2006, Blegny had a total population of 12,799. The total area is 26.07 km² which gives a population density of 491 inhabitants per km². The municipality consists of the following districts: Barchon, Housse, Mortier, Saint-Remy, Saive, and Trembleur (town centre).

The Noor or Langwater (Limburgish: Laankwater) is a river in the Netherlands and Belgium. The Noor is a right-bank tributary to the river Voer, which later joins the Meuse. Rising in Eijsden-Margraten, in the Dutch province of Limburg, the Noor eventually drains in the river Voer in Voeren, in the Belgian province of Limburg. A source of the Noor can be found at the Brigida spring (Dutch: Sint Brigidabron) in the hamlet of Wesch, north of the village of Noorbeek, in the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten, where water wells up from the chalk underground. The spring and the adjacent 18th century lavoir, named after Brigid of Kildare, patron saint of the village of Noorbeek, form a Dutch national heritage site. From Wesch the river flows south, passing west of the village of Noorbeek (Dutch: Noor river), which was named after the river. Passing Noorbeek the Noor continues southward through the Noor valley, south of the plateau of Margraten, and is one of only few Dutch rivers to flow southward into Belgium. The Dutch part of the Noor valley (Dutch: Noordal) contains a nature reserve, with the same name, managed by the Dutch Society for preservation of Nature Monuments.After crossing the border into Belgium the Noor flows past Castle Altenbroek and the Watermill at Altenbroek in Voeren. This 18th century castle is a Flemish heritage site. The Belgian part of the Noor valley is a Flemish protected landscape as part of the larger Voer valley protected landscape. The Noor eventually drains in the river Voer near the village of 's-Gravenvoeren in the municipality of Voeren.

Mesch (Dutch pronunciation: [mɛs]; Limburgish: Misj [ˈmɪʃ]) is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten, quite near to the Netherlands' the southerly border with Belgium, on the other side of which the neighbouring village of Moelingen is situated. In its northwest, Mesch borders the larger village of Eijsden, whereas the city and municipality of Maastricht lies about 10 km farther to the north. The relatively small Voer river, which has its source in Belgium, passes through this village among other streams and waterways, before draining into the Meuse river at Eijsden. The Mergellandroute, a route often used by tourists and mapped out by the ANWB, also passes through Mesch.

Visé (French pronunciation: [vize] (listen); Dutch: Wezet, Dutch pronunciation: [ˈʋeːzɛt]; Walloon: Vizé) is a city and municipality of Wallonia, located on the river Meuse in the province of Liège, Belgium. The municipality consists of the following districts: Argenteau, Cheratte, Lanaye, Lixhe, Richelle, and Visé. In the north-east (on the eastern bank of the Meuse) the area of the municipality extends up to the village of Moelingen in the Limburgian municipality of Voeren, while in the north-west (on the western bank of the Meuse) it extends up to the border between Belgium and the Netherlands (on the other side of which the Dutch municipality of Maastricht is situated). The city of Visé is located in a distance of some 20 km (12,4 miles) north eastern of Belgian Liège city and of some 15 km (9,3 miles) southern of the most southern Dutch city of Maastricht. In addition to the Meuse, the Albert Canal also passes through this town.
