Penrhyn-coch

Penrhyncoch Football Club (Welsh: Clwb Pêl Droed Penrhyncoch) is a semi-professional football club based in Penrhyn-coch, Ceredigion, Wales. They currently play in the Ardal NE, the third tier of the Welsh football pyramid. The club was founded in 1965 and have played at their current home ground, Cae Baker, since its founding.

Hen Gaer is an Iron Age hillfort, on a hill adjacent to and east of Bow Street, Ceredigion, Wales. Other names of the hillfort are Broncastellan and Caer Shon.

Ystrad Peithyll (also known as Stradpeithyll in the Brut y Tywysogion and Rhosgoch Motte) is the remains of a small 12th-century motte-and-bailey castle on the River Peithyll, near Penrhyn-coch in northern Ceredigion, Wales. The castle was attacked and destroyed by followers of Gruffydd ap Rhys in the early 12th century.

Gogerddan, or in English, Gogarthen, was an estate near to Trefeurig and the most important in what was then the county of Cardiganshire, Wales. Owned since at least the fifteenth century by the Pryse family, the main house, called Plas Gogerddan, still stands and is a Grade II listed building. The estate became especially wealthy from the seventeenth century on the profits from lead mining, which is when the house was constructed. The house was significantly altered in the 1860s and was sold by Sir Pryse Loveden Saunders-Pryse to University College of Wales in 1949.Gogerddan provisionally held the high temperature record for Wales – 35.3°C, which was recorded on 18 July 2022. It replaced the previous record holder Hawarden which held the record for almost 32 years. This record was short-lived, however, as by the end of the same day, Hawarden recorded a temperature of 37.1°C.

Dole, Ceredigion is a small village in the community of Tirymynach, Ceredigion, Wales. Dole is represented in the Senedd by Elin Jones (Plaid Cymru) and the Member of Parliament is Ben Lake (Plaid Cymru). It was the home of Baron Elystan Morgan of Aberteifi until his death on 7 July 2021.

Dol-gau (or Dôl-gau) is a small village in the community of Tirymynach, Ceredigion, Wales, which is 76.4 miles (123 km) from Cardiff and 177.5 miles (285.7 km) from London. Capel Dewi is a hamlet in Ceredigion, Wales, approximately 3.5 miles (5.6 km) east of Aberystwyth. It is one of two settlements called Capel Dewi in the county, the other being Capel Dewi near Llandysul. The majority of Capel Dewi lies south of the River Peithyll, a tributary of the Afon Clarach. One of the more unusual features of the hamlet is the nearby LIDAR system, which is run by the University of Manchester. In 2010 the LIDAR system at Capel Dewi provided vital information in the tracking of the ash cloud caused by the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull.

Rhydypennau is a hamlet in the Genau'r-glyn district of Ceredigion, Wales, approximately 4+1⁄2 miles (7.2 km) north-east of Aberystwyth. Along with the village of Pen-y-garn, Rhydypennau is now often considered to be part of the neighbouring village of Bow Street. All three places stretch in a long narrow strip along the main Aberystwyth to Machynlleth road (A487).
