The New Stadionul Dinamo is a proposed football stadium in Bucharest, Romania.The contract for the feasibility study was signed in September 2020. The works will last between 18 and 24 months. Initially CS Dinamo București handed over to CNI the location of the current velodrome for which the public procurement procedure was started.

Florea Dumitrache Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Bucharest, Romania. It is the home ground of Dinamo București (rugby). It holds 1,500 people. It is named after Dinamo București and Romania legend, Florea Dumitrache (1948–2007). This was also the home ground of Victoria București, then being named Victoria Stadium.

Floreasca Hospital (Romanian: Spitalul Clinic de Urgență București Floreasca) is a major hospital in Bucharest, Romania. The hospital is specialized in providing emergency medical care.

Ștefan cel Mare is a metro station in Bucharest. Located in west-central Bucharest, it is named after Ștefan cel Mare, a medieval Moldavian prince regarded as a hero in Romania for his long resistance against the Ottoman Empire. It is located near the Dinamo Stadium. The RATB connections are 1, 5 and 46 (trams). The station was opened on 17 August 1989 as part of the extension from Gara de Nord to Dristor.

The Bucharest Metropolitan Circus (Romanian: Circul Metropolitan București), also known as Bucharest State Circus, or Globus Circus, is a circus located at 15 Circului Alley in Bucharest, Romania. Built in 1960-1961 by architects Nicolae Porumbescu, Nicolae Pruncu and Constantin Ruleahe, the circus is listed in the National Register of Historic Monuments in Romania. It has a capacity of up to 1,850 seats.

On 5 March 2012, a man opened fire at a hair salon in Bucharest, Romania, killing two people and wounding six more.

Saint Basil the Great Cathedral, located at 50 Polonă street, is the first Romanian Greek-Catholic church built in Bucharest. The church's patron is Basil of Caesarea and its dedication celebration is on January 1. On August 30, 2014 there was a ceremony of inauguration of the first bishop of the Eparchy of Saint Basil the Great of Bucharest inside the Cathedral.

Universitatea Alternativă (en: The Alternative University) is an informal education project developed by CROS - Centrul de Resurse pentru Organizații Studențești, an Education NGO in Bucharest, Romania. The project aims to provide a different learning experience to its students, focusing on autonomy and freedom of its students.Wishing to meet the demand for reform of the public educational system in Romania felt by some students, a group of five students from Politehnica University of Bucharest decided to establish CROS (which will later develop Universitatea Alternativă), as an environment for NGOs led by students.

On 29 January 2021, at around 05:00 EET, a fire broke out at the COVID-19 facility in the Prof. Dr. Matei Balș National Institute for Infectious Diseases in Bucharest, Romania, killing five people. On 4 February 2021, the death toll on the fire was reported to have risen to 12. The death toll rose again to 14 on 6 February 2021, with one more death added to the death toll on 8 February 2021 and two more again on 9 February 2021.

Ion Luca Caragiale National College (Romanian: Colegiul Național I. L. Caragiale București) is a high school located at 163 Calea Dorobanți, in the Dorobanți neighborhood of Bucharest, Romania. It bears the name of Ion Luca Caragiale, one of the greatest playwrights and writers in Romanian literature. In 1996, it was granted the title of National College by the Ministry of Education and Research of Romania. In June 2024, the Caragiale National College was ranked as the most sought-after for admission by 8th grade students in Bucharest, ahead of the Gheorghe Lazăr, Iulia Hasdeu, and George Coșbuc colleges; the most sought-after specialization is in mathematics–informatics.

Floreasca (Romanian pronunciation: [floˈre̯aska]) is a district in Bucharest, Romania, in Sector 2. Its name comes from Lake Floreasca, which is situated in the north of the neighborhood. The Floreasca Hospital is also situated in the neighborhood, in its southern part. Floreasca is considered an upper class area. The neighborhood was built on a former landfill site. It is mainly composed of small apartment blocks of 3-4 floors, and has many green areas. Its population density is lower than other parts of Bucharest. In 2008, work at the Floreasca City Center started in the area, which was completed in 2013. In recent years, the desire of developers to increasingly build in the neighborhood has led to conflicts with the residents.

Dorobanți is a neighborhood in Sector 1, Bucharest. The neighborhood is dominated by red brick buildings and glass buildings. Main intersections/squares are Perla, Dorobanți Square, Lahovari, Charles de Gaulle and Quito Square. Main streets are Calea Dorobanților, Iancu de Hunedoara Avenue, Lascăr Catargiu Boulevard and a small part of Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard. The district features many embassy buildings, and local cafés are regarded as meeting places of Bucharest's nouveau riche.
