Pete's Candy Store is a New York City performing space, bar and club located in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. It is located at 709 Lorimer Street, between Frost Street and Richardson Street. Notable acts associated with the venue include Lizzie West, The Reverend Vince Anderson and Will Oldham. Pete's hosts a weekly trivia and weekly open mic night, and monthly reading, poetry, LGBTQ+, comedy, and performance nights alongside a calendar of nightly free musical performances. It was the New York City home of pastor Jay Bakker's Revolution church.

Bamonte's is a family owned Italian-American restaurant at 32 Withers Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York. Anthony Bamonte began running it in the 1960s, eventually bringing in daughter Nicole.It is said to have been a Mob hangout. In 2009, after he was released from a federal penitentiary, Anthony "Fat Tony" Rabito of the Bonanno crime family, was forbidden by his probation officer from returning to several Italian restaurants in Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan, including Bamonte's. After Carmine Galante was murdered, they “closed down for a night and the heads of the five crime families held a celebratory dinner.”

Bard High School Early College (BHSEC) is an early college school, with multiple campuses in the United States. The school allows students to begin their college studies two years early, graduating with a Bard College Associate in Arts degree in addition to their high school diploma. Students complete their high school studies in the ninth and tenth grade, after which point they begin taking credit-bearing college courses under the same roof. Unlike some dual-enrollment programs, students stay on the same campus for all four years, and both high school- and college-level courses are taught by the same faculty. Teachers at the Bard High School Early Colleges are both certified public school teachers as well as experienced academic scholars, often holding terminal degrees in their areas of study. The original campus, Bard High School Early College Manhattan, opened in New York City in 2001 as a partnership between Bard College and various local public school systems. There are currently six Bard High School Early College campuses across the country: BHSEC Manhattan, which opened in 2001, is located in the Lower East Side, Manhattan; BHSEC Queens, which opened in 2008, is located in Long Island City; BHSEC Newark, which opened 2011, is located in Newark, New Jersey; BHSEC Cleveland and BHSEC Cleveland East, which opened in 2014 and 2017, respectively, are located in Cleveland, Ohio; and BHSEC Baltimore, which opened in 2015, is located in Baltimore, Maryland. The Bard High School Early Colleges are part of a larger network of early college programs run by Bard College, called the Bard Early Colleges, which also include half-day programs in New Orleans, Louisiana; in partnership with the Harlem Children's Zone in New York City; and in Hudson, New York.

Don Bosco School, Kokrajhar, is a school of the Catholic Church, situated in the heart of Kokrajhar Town in India. It belongs to and is managed by the Salesians of Don Bosco Educational Society. Guided by the religious and educational philosophy of St. John Bosco, the school was founded to provide education to people who cannot afford expensive quality education.

Russian Orthodox Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Our Lord is a historic Russian Orthodox cathedral at 228 North 12th Street in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. The cathedral was designated a New York City landmark by the Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1969, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

McCarren Park is a public park in Brooklyn, New York City. It is located on the border of Williamsburg and Greenpoint and is bordered by Nassau Avenue, Bayard Street, Lorimer Street and North 12th Street. The park contains facilities for recreational softball, volleyball, soccer, handball, and other games. It is also used for sunbathing and dog-walking. It also includes the McCarren Play Center, which consists of a recreation center and a pool. McCarren Park is maintained by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (NYC Parks). Opened in 1906 and originally named Greenpoint Park, the park was renamed McCarren Park in 1909 after State Senator Patrick H. McCarren (1849–1909), who eventually became the Democratic boss of Brooklyn. The pool was built by Aymar Embury II during a Works Progress Administration project in 1935–1936. Although McCarren Pool was slated for renovation in the 1980s, it was instead closed due to opposition from the community. The McCarren Play Center was designated a city landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 2007. The pool was used for concerts between 2005 and 2008, and the pool and play center were restored in 2012.

Fifth Street was a train station along the Evergreen Branch of the Long Island Rail Road that opened in 1878 at Fifth Street, which later became Driggs Street, then finally Driggs Avenue. Fifth Street was 3 minutes away from Greenpoint Terminal. The station closed in 1879. This is also evident as Fifth Street isn't mentioned on the 1880 season timetable.

Macri Triangle is a 0.57 acres (0.23 hectares) park located at the intersection of Meeker Avenue, Union Avenue, and Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York City. The property was designated as a park in 1946 during the construction of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, which resulted in the demolition of buildings along its route and the extension of Meeker Avenue from Richardson Street south to Metropolitan Avenue, serving as the expressway's service road. As the highway ran through the street grid, triangular parcels that were too small to be developed were designated as public plazas, including this one. In 1971, the City Council passed Local Law 54 that named this site as Macri Square, in honor of Luigi A. Macri (1909–1962), a resident of Williamsburg who died in 1962. Macri was a dedicated member of the nearby American Legion Post 1751, which maintained the Second World War memorial inside this park.
