Langenberg Wildlife Park (German: Wildpark Langenberg) is a zoo situated in the municipality of Langnau am Albis in the Sihl Valley to the south of the city of Zürich in Switzerland. The wildlife park now forms part of the Zürich Wilderness Park. The park was founded in 1869 by the Zürich city forester Carl Anton Ludwig von Orelli, making it the oldest Swiss wildlife park. In 2009, the management of the Langenberg Wildlife Park was combined with that of the nearby Sihlwald forest, to form the Zürich Wilderness Park.Langenberg is home to 16 native or formerly native animals such as bears, beavers, elk, hare, lynxes, wild boar, and wolves. In 2012, European bison and Przewalski’s horse were introduced to the park. The wildlife park can be reached via the Wildpark-Höfli railway station, served by service S4 of the Zurich S-Bahn.

Park im Grüene is a public park and a small amusement park in the municipality of Rüschlikon in Switzerland. The park area comprises the former estate of Adele and Gottlieb Duttweiler that went to public use in 1947.

The Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute (GDI) is an independent think-tank and the oldest organisation of its kind in Switzerland. It is located in Rüschlikon, near Zurich. The GDI is located on the edge of the Park im Grüene. Established on 1 September 1963, the research institute was conceived by and named after the founder of Migros, Gottlieb Duttweiler. Taking his principle of "Focus on people and not on capital" as its starting point, the GDI researches and debates issues relating to the fields of consumption, trade and society, and current topics of relevance to business and society. It is owned by the "Im Grüene" Foundation, which is co-financed by Migros, Switzerland's largest retailer. Its research is published quarterly in the "GDI Impuls" magazine and published studies as well as the Gottfried Duttweiler Prize.

The Adliswil-Felsenegg cable car (LAF; German: Luftseilbahn Adliswil-Felsenegg or Felseneggbahn) is a cable car in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland. The lower station is located in Adliswil in the Sihl Valley, whilst the upper station is located on the Felsenegg hill on the Albis ridge near the Felsenegg-Girstel TV-tower. The upper station at Felsenegg forms one end of a panoramic walk to the Uetliberg mountain, whilst the lower station is some 400 metres (1,300 ft) from Adliswil railway station.The cable car is owned by the Luftseilbahn Adliswil-Felsenegg AG and is operated by the Sihltal Zürich Uetliberg Bahn (SZU), the railway company which links both Adliswil and the Uetliberg to the city of Zürich.

Albis Pass (el. 793 m or 2,602 ft) is a mountain pass in the Albis range in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland. It connects Langnau am Albis with the small village of Türlen on the Türlersee and, further on, Aeugst am Albis, Hausen am Albis, Mettmenstetten and Rifferswil. Other nearby passes across the same chain are Buechenegg to the north, and Schnabellücken, which is undeveloped except for a hiking trail, to the south. The eastern ramp and crest of the pass is in the municipality of Langnau, with the western ramp in Hausen.The pass is first mentioned in 1492, when the Zurich Council made a decision on road maintenance. In past times it was regarded as an important route between Zurich and central Switzerland. In 1713, Zurich military authorities are recorded as regarding transport over the Albis Pass as being simpler and cheaper than going via Birmensdorf or Horgen. However the construction of the railway from Thalwil to Zug and later roads rendered the pass less important.The road over the Albis pass is served hourly during daylight hours by a bus connecting Hausen am Albis to the train station in Thalwil. A walking trail to the north follows the ridge-line of the Albis range and leads to Buechenegg, Felsenegg and Uetliberg.
