Koester/Patburg House is a historic home located at Evansville, Indiana. It was built in 1873–1874, and is a two-story, rectangular, Italianate style brick dwelling. It has a low-pitched front gable roof and features a bracketed cornice and paneled frieze and original slatted shutters. It has a porch and porte cochere added in the 1920s. It was originally built as the country home of a wholesale grocer.: 2–3 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Garvin Park is a historic public park located in Evansville, Indiana, United States. It was planned and laid out in 1915 for the city of Evansville in a naturalistic landscape style. Located in the park are the contributing concrete and stone bridges and a Works Progress Administration-era bandstand.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Bosse Field is a baseball stadium located in Evansville, Indiana. Opened in 1915, it was the first municipally owned sports stadium in the United States and is the third-oldest ballpark still in regular use for professional baseball, surpassed only by Fenway Park (1912) in Boston and Wrigley Field (1914) in Chicago.It is the home field for the professional Evansville Otters of the independent Frontier League, as well as high school and American Legion games, and in the past hosted spring training for the Detroit Tigers, college baseball, high school, college, and NFL football, college soccer, and concerts. Six Baseball Hall of Fame members played for Evansville teams at Bosse Field during their minor league careers, including Chuck Klein, Hank Greenberg, Warren Spahn, Bob Uecker, Bert Blyleven and Jack Morris. The historic stadium was also used in 1991 by Columbia Pictures for filming numerous game scenes in the 1992 comedy-drama, A League of Their Own.

The Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center is a high school-level institution that provides advanced education to meet the demand in the areas of agriculture, business and marketing, family and consumer sciences, health careers, and trade and industry arts to the students in Indiana's Area Career & Technical District #46 (ACTD-46) consisting of nine school district and corporations in Gibson, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties in Southwestern Indiana. 90.7 FM WPSR, which used to broadcast from Central High School, now broadcasts from the center.To provide easier access to these services to the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation along with the other eight districts the facility was constructed outside the city of Evansville. Prior to 2004 students interested in these courses had to go to North High School on Diamond Avenue which was constantly plagued with road construction and traffic tie-ups in addition to cramped and non-airconditioned spaces. In terms of enrollment, the EVSC has one of the largest CTE programs in the State of Indiana. Other than the EVSC the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center draws Students from the following School Districts in Southwestern Indiana. Rex Mundi High School was a Catholic high school in Evansville, Indiana. Its name comes from the Latin King of the World. The premises are now used for Ivy Tech Community College's Evansville Campus. It opened in the fall of 1958 in a rapidly expanding area close to what was then the north city limits of Evansville. The Country Club Meadows and Country Club Manor subdivisions opened in the early to mid 1950s in the immediate vicinity of the Rex Mundi site. At the time of the opening of the high school, the Diocese of Evansville maintained a strict policy requiring those registered in Catholic parishes to send their children to diocesan schools. While it required an entrance exam for admissions (and exempted those who failed from the required attendance in the Catholic school system), Rex Mundi benefited from the diocesan attendance policy and soon was full to overflowing. The school was closed by the diocese in March 1972. Famous alumni include former All-American quarterback Bob Griese.

The Academy for Innovative Studies are two campuses located on Diamond Avenue and First Avenue in Evansville, Indiana, USA. It is a member of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation. In 2012, the EVSC School Board decided to invest more money in students who are at risk and learn differently from traditional student and open another AIS campus. The new AIS campus at the old North High School was opened in fall 2012.

Hose House No. 10, also known as Old Hose House No. 10, is a historic fire station located at Evansville, Indiana. The Italianate style brick structure was built in December 1888 to serve the then-northeast side. A tower attached to the building was removed in 1947. In 1977 the fire department moved to a new station on the opposite side of Columbia Street.: 2, 3 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Hose House No. 12, also known as Bassemier's Gas Grills, Inc., is a historic fire station located at Evansville, Indiana. It was designed by the architecture firm Harris & Shopbell and built in 1908. It is a two-story, rectangular red brick building with an arched entranceway. It features a campanile style tower with a saddleback roof that one housed the station's bells.: 2, 3 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
