Heikant was a hamlet in the municipality of Cranendonck, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is now a part of the village of Gastel (also in the municipality of Cranendonck).

There are no place name signs. Berg was home to 90 people in 1840. Nowadays, it consists of about 60 houses.Together with neighbouring Toom, the hamlet has 355 inhabitants.

It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck, about 1 km west of Budel, and a few hundred metres from the Belgian border.In the middle of the 19th century, the hamlet had a population of 140. Currently, together with neighbouring Berg, the hamlet has 355 inhabitants. It was first mentioned in 1225 as "tegen die toym", and means burial hill. Toom has no place name signs, and consists of about 70 houses.

Hamont-Achel (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦaːmɔnt ˈɑxəl]; Limburgish: Haëmet-Achel) is a city and municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. It was founded in 1977 by a fusion of the city Hamont and the village Achel. On January 1, 2020, Hamont-Achel had a total population of 14.294. The total area is 43.66 km² which gives a population density of 315 inhabitants per km². The municipality houses the Trappist Abbey of Achel, part of which is Brouwerij de Achelse Kluis, one of the 11 Trappist breweries. The professional tennis player Elise Mertens (WTA 35 - 2017) lives in Hamont-Achel.

Achel Brewery or Brouwerij der Sint-Benedictusabdij de Achelse Kluis was a Belgian Trappist brewery, (the smallest of the Belgian Trappist breweries) until January 2021. It continues to operate as a brewery but is no longer Trappist, as the brewing monks whose presence gave rise to that status have retired. It is located in the Abbey of Saint Benedict in the Belgian municipality of Hamont-Achel. It brews six "Trappist beers" (now described as "Trappist style").

The Trappist Abbey of Achel or Saint Benedictus-Abbey or Achelse Kluis (which means hermitage of Achel), which belongs to the Cistercians of Strict Observance, is located in Achel in the Campine region of the province of Limburg (Flanders, Belgium). The abbey was famous for its spiritual life and its brewery, which was one of only a few Trappist beer breweries in the world. Life in the abbey was characterised by prayer, reading and manual work, the three basic elements of Trappist life. The monastic community came to an end in January 2021, with the last two monks moving to Westmalle Abbey.

Budel is a town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck, 25 km outside Eindhoven. Kempen Airport is located near Budel.

According to the 19th-century historian A.J. van der Aa, Heikant (or "De Heikant") consisted of 22 houses and had a population of 140 in the middle of the 19th century. Heikant has no place name signs and consists of about 80 houses and 125 industrial buildings. Heikant should not be confused with the former hamlet with the same name near Gastel, 4 km to the northwest, or with any of the other hamlets named Heikant in the Netherlands.

Budel-Dorplein is a village in the municipality of Cranendonck, Netherlands. The village was established in 1892 for a zinc factory by Emile Dor.

Bosch is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck, about 1.5 km east of Budel. Together with the hamlets of Meemortel and Heikant to the south, Bosch has a population of about 420. It was first mentioned in 1307 as Henricus de Silua, and means "forest". According to the 19th-century historian A.J. van der Aa, Bosch consisted of 23 houses and had a population of 150 to 160 people in the middle of the 19th century. It was built on a dyke in heath lands. Bosch has no place name signs, and consists of about 100 houses.

Leende is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Heeze-Leende, approximately 12 km southeast of Eindhoven.
