Soerendonk en Sterksel

Soerendonk is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck. The former Cranendonck Castle used to be located in the village. It is located about 17 kilometres (11 mi) south-south-east of Eindhoven.

Soerendonk, Sterksel en Gastel was a municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It consisted of two parts, one containing the village Soerendonk and Gastel and one containing Sterksel. The two parts were separated by the municipalities of Maarheeze and Leende. The municipality was created in 1821, in a merger of the municipalities of Soerendonk en Sterksel and Gastel, and existed until 1925, when it merged with Maarheeze.

Toom is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck, about 1 km west of Budel, and a few hundred metres from the Belgian border.In the middle of the 19th century, the hamlet had a population of 140. Currently, together with neighbouring Berg, the hamlet has 355 inhabitants. It was first mentioned in 1225 as "tegen die toym", and means burial hill. Toom has no place name signs, and consists of about 70 houses.

Laar is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck, 1 km southwest of the town of Maarheeze.

Berg is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck, about 2 km northwest of Budel, and a few hundred metres from the Belgian border.It was first mentioned in 1794 as Berg, and means hill. There are no place name signs. Berg was home to 90 people in 1840. Nowadays, it consists of about 60 houses.Together with neighbouring Toom, the hamlet has 355 inhabitants.

Bosch is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck, about 1.5 km east of Budel. Together with the hamlets of Meemortel and Heikant to the south, Bosch has a population of about 420. It was first mentioned in 1307 as Henricus de Silua, and means "forest". According to the 19th-century historian A.J. van der Aa, Bosch consisted of 23 houses and had a population of 150 to 160 people in the middle of the 19th century. It was built on a dyke in heath lands. Bosch has no place name signs, and consists of about 100 houses.

Maarheeze is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck, about 15 km southeast of Eindhoven, near the Belgian and the German borders.

Heikant is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck, about 1.5 km southeast of Budel. Together with the hamlets of Meemortel and Bosch to the north, Heikant has a population of about 420. According to the 19th-century historian A.J. van der Aa, Heikant (or "De Heikant") consisted of 22 houses and had a population of 140 in the middle of the 19th century. Heikant has no place name signs and consists of about 80 houses and 125 industrial buildings. Heikant should not be confused with the former hamlet with the same name near Gastel, 4 km to the northwest, or with any of the other hamlets named Heikant in the Netherlands.
