Mysłowice

Three Emperors' Corner (Polish: Trójkąt Trzech Cesarzy, German: Dreikaisereck, Russian: Угол трёх императоров, romanized: Ugol tryokh imperatorov) is a former tripoint at the confluence of the Black and White Przemsza rivers, near the towns of Mysłowice, Sosnowiec and Jaworzno in the present-day Silesian Voivodeship of Poland. During the Partitions of Poland, from 1871 to 1918, it marked the place at which the borders of three empires that had divided Poland – the Russian Empire, Austria-Hungary and the German Empire – met.

Biała Przemsza is a river of Poland, a tributary of the Przemsza near Mysłowice. It has a length of 63.9 km and a catchment area of 876.6 km². The river forms branches, meanders, urea, sometimes joints. Flows and water states are constant.

Brynica (German: Brinitz) is a river in Silesia, Poland. It has a length of 55 km and is the main tributary of Czarna Przemsza. It has a source in Mysłów, and flows through Piekary Śląskie, Wojkowice, Czeladź, Siemianowice Śląskie, Świerklaniec, Katowice, Sosnowiec and finally Mysłowice where it joins Czarna Przemsza.

Brzęczkowice (German: Brzenskowitz) is a neighbourhood and a part of dzielnica (district) Brzęczkowice and Słupna, in Mysłowice, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was previously an independent village and gmina (consisting only of this village), that was absorbed by Mysłowice in 1945 and again in 1951.

Morgi is a dzielnica (district) of Mysłowice, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It has an area of 3.49 km2 and in 2012 had a population of 2,146.In the middle of the 19th century the area was yet covered with a forest belonging to the town of Mysłowice. Guido Henckel von Donnersmarck bought it then to cut the trees to fuel local heavy industry. Deforested land commenced to be inhabited. In 1900 a local school was opened. A local church was built in 1946.

Oskar Schöen's Palace called also New Schöen's Palace – one of the two residences of the Schöen family, located on the merger of the districts and, at the time of its creation, the settlement: Ostra-Gorka and Sielec, on the left bank of the Black River. Actually The Palace is located in the center of Sosnowiec

Brzezinka (Polish: [bʐɛˈʑiŋka]; German: Birkental) is a dzielnica (district) of Mysłowice, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was previously an independent village and gmina, but was absorbed by Mysłowice in 1951.It has an area of 6.69 km2 and in 2012 had a population of 5,146.

Rawa (pronounced: Polish: ['rava] (listen); older name Roździanka) is a minor river (about 19.6 kilometres in total length) in Silesia, Poland. It is the largest right tributary of the Brynica, itself a tributary of the Przemsza, which in turn is a tributary of the Vistula. The entire length of the Rawa is within the Upper Silesian Metropolitan Union. It has its source in Ruda Śląska and crosses the cities of Świętochłowice, Chorzów and Katowice. Finally in Sosnowiec it joins the Brynica River only several hundred metres before the latter joins with Czarna Przemsza. The Rawa has lost most of its natural river character, and is now mostly a sewage channel flowing underground. Works have begun in order to restore it back to an ecologically sound water flow.

The Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Polish: Bazylika katedralna Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Sosnowcu ) also called Sosnowiec Cathedral is a religious building affiliated with the Catholic Church which is located in the city of Sosnowiec in the European country of Poland.It is eclectic church built in 1899, on the plan of a Latin cross basilica type. As of 25 March 1992 is the cathedral of the Diocese of Sosnowiec. The most important Catholic shrine of Sosnowiec was built between 1893 and 1899. In 1896 there was put into operation for the faithful the lower chapel. In 1899 the Bishop of Kielce Tomasz Kulinski erected a new parish, freeing it from the area of the parish of Czeladź. In the year 1901 there was put into operation the rectory. In October 2014 it was affected by a fire.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Sosnowiec is a diocese located in the city of Sosnowiec in the Ecclesiastical province of Częstochowa in Poland. As of 2013 weekly Sunday mass attendance was 27.5%, up from 27.4% in the previous year.

Sosnowiec Główny railway station is a major railway stations in Sosnowiec, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. The station is located about 9km to the East of Katowice railway station. As of 2022, it is served by Polregio (local and InterRegio services) and PKP Intercity (EIP, InterCity, and TLK services).

Janów-Nikiszowiec (German: Janow-Nickischschacht) is a district of Katowice. It has an area of 8.65 km2 and in 2007 had 11,496 inhabitants.The district encompasses the former Janów and Nikiszowiec.
