Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Golf and Country Club, formerly known as Kelab Golf Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, is a golf course in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. The three 9-hole loops were designed by Australian five-time Open champion Peter Thomson.

The Shah Alam Stadium (Malay: Stadium Shah Alam) is a multi-purpose stadium located in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. It is used mostly for football matches but also has facilities for athletics. The stadium is the officially home of the Red Giants (Selangor) since 16 July 1994, and has a capacity of 80,372.Despite multiple renovation attempts over the years, the stadium is currently in a state of disrepair resulting from long-term neglect in maintenance. In 2020, the Malaysian Football League (MFL) announced that the dilapidated stadium may be barred from hosting Malaysia Super League matches, due to safety reasons arising from the stadium's polycarbonate roof and pitch being in a poor state. On 15 July 2022, the Menteri Besar of Selangor, Amirudin Shari, stated said the Selangor government has appointed Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) to that refurbish the stadium and its surrounding sporting facilities may cost up to RM787 million, will be started in early 2023.

Malawati Stadium (Malay: Stadium Malawati) is an indoor stadium located in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.The stadium is located beside the Shah Alam Stadium. The stadium has a maximum seated capacity of 13,000 and is capable of housing different events including sports events, warehouse sales, concerts, exhibitions and talks in its fully air conditioned 50 × 50 meters square arena.

Management & Science University (abbreviated as MSU Malaysia or simply MSU) is a private university in Malaysia located in Shah Alam, Selangor. National Botanic Gardens Shah Alam (Malay: Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam or TBNSA) is a national botanic garden in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. It is incorporated in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industries. With area of 817 hectares, it is the habitat of flora and fauna, also a recreational destination in the Klang Valley. As of August 2021, the director of TBNSA is Siti Zubaidah binti Mohamad.

The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque (Malay: Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz, Arabic: مسجد سلطان صلاح الدين عبدالعزيز) is the state mosque of Selangor, Malaysia. It is located in Shah Alam and is the country's largest mosque and also the second largest mosque in Southeast Asia by capacity. Its most distinguishing feature is its large blue and silver dome. The mosque has four minarets, one erected at each of the corners.

Istana Bukit Kayangan (English: Bukit Kayangan Palace) is the Sultan of Selangor's second official palace, located in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Building is Selangor's state secretariat building. It is located at Bukit SUK, Section 5, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. It was constructed between 1982 and 1984. The building was officially opened on 2 February 1985 by Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah of Selangor. It houses the machineries of the state government, including Menteri Besar's office, State Assembly Hall and Silver Jubilee Hall.
