The Anthony Kill, also called Tenandeho Creek, is a stream ("kill") in Saratoga County, New York approximately 8 miles (13 km) long. Its source is the east end of Round Lake, and it flows east into the Hudson River in Mechanicville. It drains an area of approximately 53 square miles (140 km2).The Native name "Ta-nen-da-ho-wa" has been translated "great point". In English the name was formerly "Anthony's Kill", or the "St. Anthony Kill," but there seems to be no record of its origin. The will of Robert Livingston, dated 1728, refers to "a creek commonly called Anthony's kill."

Round Lake is a small lake in Saratoga County, New York that is located east of the village of Round Lake. Fish species present in the lake are northern pike, tiger muskie, largemouth bass, carp, pumpkinseed sunfish, and brown bullhead. There is a carry down access located on the west shore off US-9.Round Lake is a "kettle lake", formed at the end of the Wisconsin glaciation by a large block of ice left behind as the glacier melted. Outflow from the Iromohawk River deposited large amounts of debris around the block. Over time the river's course changed and the block melted, leaving the depression that became Round Lake.

WSSV (1160 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Mechanicville, New York, and serving the Capital District. The station broadcasts a classic hits radio format and is owned by Loud Media.By day, WSSV transmits with 5,000 watts, but because 1160 AM is a clear channel frequency reserved for KSL in Salt Lake City, WSSV must greatly reduce power at night to 570 watts. It uses a non-directional antenna at all times. Programming is also heard on FM translator W227DW at 93.3 MHz in Saratoga Springs.

Malta Test Station, located in Malta, New York, is a former US Army fuel and explosives testing facility. It was established in 1945 and used to test rocket engines for the US Army's "Project Hermes", new fuels and explosives. It has also been used for atomic energy research.Malta test station has been used by various government agencies including the US Department of Defense, National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA), the US Department of Energy, and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), it was operated by General Electric until 1972 when the Wright-Malta Corporation took over occupation and continued to test fuels and explosives for the US military and the US Department of Energy until 2005.The Wright Malta Corporation also worked on noise suppression systems, fuel cells, assisted technologically oriented start up businesses, waste-to-energy technology, liquid fuel propellants, and a number of other emerging technologies related to defense, energy, and product testing.The Malta Test Station was the site of a serious industrial accident in May 2004.The site and surrounding area has since been transformed into the Luther Forest Technology Campus, home to a new chip fabrication plant owned by GlobalFoundries. "Project Hermes" is commemorated by Hermes Road, one of the main access roads to the Technology Campus.It was listed as a Superfund site in 1987 and removed from the list following cleanup in 1999. It is being monitored by the US Environmental Protection agency to ensure that it is safe from possible chemical contamination.

Mechanicville Jr./Sr. High School is a school located in Halfmoon, New York The school is part of the Mechanicville City School district and serves the district's sixth through 12th grades. In 2011, a merger occurred between the high school and the middle school causing the school to now be known as Mechanicville Jr./Sr. High School.

Round Lake is a village in Saratoga County, New York, United States. The population was 1,245 at the 2020 census. The name is derived from a circular lake adjacent to the village. In 1975, the Round Lake Historic District, which encompasses the village, was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The Village of Round Lake is in the Town of Malta.

The Davis-Ferris Organ, built in 1847, is the oldest three-manual pipe organ that has escaped significant alteration in the United States. It is located in the Round Lake Auditorium in the village of Round Lake, New York. Originally located in the Calvary Church in Manhattan, it was moved to its present location in 1888, where it was used in Chautauqua-like summer programs into the 1920s. It is now owned and maintained by the village. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2016.

Cornell Hill is a 430-foot-tall (130 m) mountain in the Capital District, New York#Capital District of New York. It is located northeast of Round Lake in Saratoga County. In 1923, a 60-foot-tall (18 m) steel fire lookout tower was built on the mountain. Due to the increased use of aerial detection, the tower ceased fire lookout operations at the end of the 1970 fire lookout season. In the summer of 2008, the tower was moved to the former Boy Scout Camp Saratoga.

The Round Lake Library is located in the village of Round Lake, New York, United States. The village is located in Saratoga County, northeast of Schenectady. The Round Lake Library was established in 1897 by the Woman's Round Lake Improvement Society (WRLIS), a not-for-profit organization of men and women from the community who sponsor activities to improve the village. The mission of WRILS was "to make Round Lake desirable and attractive as a place of residence and in all ways to study to keep pace with the progressive spirit of the age." The Round Lake Library has stayed true to WRILS' mission and is a beloved centerpiece of the Round Lake community that has thrived for the past 110 years.

All Saints' Episcopal Church, is an historic Carpenter Gothic church built in 1892 on Simpson Avenue in Round Lake, New York. It is a contributing property in the Round Lake Historic District.
