Alice Holt Research Station

Birdworld is the United Kingdom's largest bird park, covering 26 acres (11 ha). It is located in the East Hampshire district, close to the village of Bucks Horn Oak and the surrounding Alice Holt Forest. It is part of the parent company Haskins Garden Centre Ltd., which also owns the nearby Forest Lodge garden centre and Garden Style, a wholesale plant seller.

Bucks Horn Oak is a small village in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England and is the main community within Alice Holt Forest. A small eastern part consists of buildings facing its main road and of the main management and tourist sites of the surrounding public forest, postally part of the place. In the Church of England the community and all land as far as Bentley railway station (Hampshire) is in a parish mainly in Surrey, a larger community on the north-east of the forest, Rowledge. In the secular, civil parishes in England, it is in the parish of Binsted, equating to the third tier of local government, namely Binsted Civil Parish Council.It is well clustered community mostly of low-rise, detached houses immediately west of the north-south A325 road, which is the link between Bordon and the southern A3 (such as Petersfield and Portsmouth) to Farnham.

Blacknest is a village and civil parish in Hampshire, England. It is in the civil parish of Binsted. The village has a golf course (the Blacknest Golf & Country Club), one pub (named the Jolly Farmer), and access to the Alice Holt Forest. Its nearest town is Alton, which lies approximately 5 miles (8 km) west from the village.

Alice Holt Forest is a royal forest in Hampshire, situated some 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Farnham, Surrey. Once predominantly an ancient oak forest, it was particularly noted in the 18th and 19th centuries for the timber it supplied for the building of ships for the Royal Navy. It is now planted mainly with conifers. Forestry England took over the management of the forest in 1924, and a research station was set up in 1946 in the Alice Holt Lodge, a former manor house. The forest is now part of the South Downs National Park, which was established on 31 March 2010, and it forms the most northerly gateway to the park.

Bentley Station Meadow is a 5.2-hectare (13-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Bentley in Hampshire.This area of unimproved herb-rich grassland is dominated by cock's-foot, Yorkshire fog and tufted hairgrass. There is a very rich invertebrate fauna, especially hoverflies and butterflies. Hoverflies include the uncommon Sphaerophoria taeniata and Xanthogramma citrofasiatum, while there are 22 species of breeding butterflies.A public footpath to Bentley railway station goes through the meadow.

Bentley railway station serves the village of Bentley in Hampshire, England. It is situated on the Alton Line, between Farnham and Alton. The station and all trains serving it are operated by South Western Railway. The village of Bentley and the hamlet of Isington are roughly the same distance from the station.

Holt Pound is a hamlet on the A325 road and two side roads and forms a slight projection of the county borders into Surrey in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It is between Bordon several miles south and Farnham, which is beyond a strip of its nearest village, Rowledge, which remains its ecclesiastical parish in Surrey and Wrecclesham which touches the town. The village is between the Alice Holt Forest and fields known jointly as Old Kiln Farm and the Holt Pound Enclosure. Holt Pound has a large 20th-century pub-restaurant beside a recreation ground which is known as Holt Pound Oval. The Oval is a former a cricket ground, now registered as a village green. It was established in the 1780s until just after World War I, and was sometimes used by Surrey county teams for top-class matches.

Northbrook Park is a house in the civil parish of Bramley, in the East Hampshire district, in the county of Hampshire, England. It is a Grade II listed building. It is a Georgian house built in about 1810 for Admiral Sir John Acworth Ommanney. Later it was the home of John Frederick Schroder, the founder in England of the present financial company Schroders. Today it is a wedding venue.

Rowledge is a village in England on the Surrey–Hampshire border, centred south of the A31 and Farnham. Neighbouring villages include Wrecclesham, Spreakley and Frensham. To the south west of the village is the Alice Holt Forest; to the west is Birdworld. It is in the Waverley Ward of Farnham, Wrecclesham and Rowledge.

Bentley is a village and civil parish in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. The parish has changed little over centuries and currently measures 2,299 acres (9.30 km2), the same size it measured in 1875.: 33  when the population was 731 The village is north of the A31 road between Farnham and Alton, about five miles (8 km) southwest of Farnham and six miles (10 km) northeast of Alton. The village is served by Bentley railway station, which is about one mile (1.6 km) to the south, in the parish of Binsted against Alice Holt Forest. There are two pubs in the village: The Star Inn (named after a car) and The Bull Inn.

Badshot Lea Football Club is a football club based in Wrecclesham, Surrey, England. The club are currently members of the Isthmian League South Central Division and play at Westfield Lane.

Farnham Pottery is located in Wrecclesham near Farnham, Surrey. This is one of the best preserved examples of a working Victorian country pottery left in England and is a grade II listed building. Its significance in the local area is shown by it featuring on the emblem of Wrecclesham Cricket Club.
