Fateh Burj

Chapar Chiri (Punjabi: ਚੱਪੜ ਚਿੜੀ) is a small village located in the Mohali district of Punjab, India. It is near Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar city and is 14 km west of Chandigarh. The village is famous due to Fateh Burj (English: The Victory Tower; Punjabi: ਫਤਿਹ ਬੁਰਜ) is the tallest victory tower (minar) in the country. The 420 ft tower is dedicated to the establishment of Sikh rule in India in 1710. It is also known as Baba Banda Singh Bahadur War Memorial. It was here that Banda Singh Bahadur, one of the most respected Sikh warriors, won a decisive battle against Wazir Khan, commander of the Mughal army.[3]

The Chandigarh Group of Colleges (or CGC) are the educational institutions located in Mohali district of Punjab in short distance from cities of Chandigarh and Mohali. Chandigarh Group of Colleges was established in 2001 at Landran initially and at Jhanjeri in 2012.

Mohali, officially known as Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, is a planned city in the Mohali district in Punjab, India, which is an administrative and a commercial hub lying south-west of Chandigarh. It is the headquarters of the Mohali district and one of the six Municipal Corporations of the State. It was officially named after Sahibzada Ajit Singh, the eldest son of Guru Gobind Singh. Mohali has developed rapidly as an IT hub of the state of Punjab, and has thus grown in importance. The Government of Punjab has initiated significant infrastructure and recreation projects in attempts to increase the standard of living in Mohali. Roads have been built to create networks between Mohali and Chandigarh International Airport to boost its international connectivity.Mohali was earlier a part of the Rupnagar district and was carved out and made a part of a separate district in 2006.

Sohana is a village located in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Punjab). Its population is about 20,000. It is located near Sector 70, Mohali.

Kharar is a town and a municipal council in Mohali district in the state of Punjab, India. It is nearby Mohali city. Kharar is located at 30.74°N 76.65°E / 30.74; 76.65 and has an average elevation of 309 metres (1,014 feet). The area of Kharar is part of the "Greater Mohali" region.

Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Inter State Bus Terminus (Punjabi: ਬਾਬਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਇੰਟਰ ਸਟੇਟ ਬੱਸ ਟਰਮਿਨਸ) or Mohali Bus Stand (Punjabi: ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਬਸ ਅੱਡਾ) is an India's first air conditioned bus station located in the sector 56-57 (Phase VI) of Mohali city. It was constructed at a cost of ₹700 crore (US$88 million) and opened to public on 16 December 2016. It will have 1844 Punjab Roadways buses with 1810 ordinary and 34 super integral coach AC buses.

Sector 70 is a residential and historical sector located in Mohali, Punjab. It is covered with Mattaur, Sector 71, Sohana, Sector 69 and Phase 7, Mohali. There are many parks, around 10, in locality among which famous is Musical Fountain Park for evening stroll and recreation activities. There are many residential complex, apartments and societies. A historical Gurdwara named Gurdwara Mata Sunder Kaur, commemorates visit of Mata Sundari, Baba Deep Singh and Bhai Mani Singh, is situated in locality and managed by Budha Dal. Adjacent Mattaur village, also known as Komagata Maru Nagar is famous for hosting of All India Congress session in 1975 where Mrs Indra Gandhi also attended the session.

Kharar Assembly constituency (Sl. No.: 52) is a Punjab Legislative Assembly constituency in Kharar Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district, Punjab state, India. Anmol Gagan Maan of the Aam Aadmi Party is the incumbent MLA.

Sector 56 (commonly known as Phase 6) is residential and entry level sector located in Chandigarh. It is famous for Verka Milk Plant and Dara Studio, owned by Dara Singh. Also the sector have many marriage palaces such as celebration, Libra orchidand motor market. It is covered with Sector 54, 55, 57, Bar Majra. Mohali is a village situated in SAS Nagar district. Mohali city got its name from this village. It is located in Sector 56 of the city.
