Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Inter State Bus Terminus (Punjabi: ਬਾਬਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਇੰਟਰ ਸਟੇਟ ਬੱਸ ਟਰਮਿਨਸ) or Mohali Bus Stand (Punjabi: ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਬਸ ਅੱਡਾ) is an India's first air conditioned bus station located in the sector 56-57 (Phase VI) of Mohali city. It was constructed at a cost of ₹700 crore (US$88 million) and opened to public on 16 December 2016. It will have 1844 Punjab Roadways buses with 1810 ordinary and 34 super integral coach AC buses.

Garden of palms is a theme based garden located in Sector 42 in the city of Chandigarh. Built at a cost of Rs. 5 crore, the garden boosts of 21 different varieties of palm trees.The Garden of Palm in Chandigarh has been developed on an area of 19.50 acres. It has rivulets, benches, huts, cycling track and eating joints. The garden was inaugurated by KK Sharma, Advisor to UT Administrator in July 2015.

The Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), based in Chandigarh, India, is one of the constituent establishments of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). It was established in 1984. The institute is engaged in research in many areas of modern biological sciences and microbe-related biotechnology, with special emphasis on research that is interdisciplinary and of a collaborative nature, such as immunity and infectious diseases, protein design and engineering, fermentation science, microbial physiology and genetics, yeast biology, bioinformatics, microbial systematics, exploitation of microbial diversity for bioactives and enzymes for biotransformations. The Chandigarh Hockey Stadium is a field hockey stadium at Chandigarh, India. It was the home of the Chandigarh Dynamos of the Premier Hockey League. It has a seating capacity of 30,000 people. It is the second largest terrace field hockey stadium in the world.Important tournaments held here include Indira Gandhi International Gold Cup, Asian School Hockey, National School Games Twice, All India Women Festival, Indo-Uzabekistak 1977, Indo Pan American Hockey 1995, All India Hockey Tournaments, and Punjab Gold Cup. It later served as the home ground for World Series Hockey's local franchise, Chandigarh Comets.

Sector 70 is a residential and historical sector located in Mohali, Punjab. It is covered with Mattaur, Sector 71, Sohana, Sector 69 and Phase 7, Mohali. There are many parks, around 10, in locality among which famous is Musical Fountain Park for evening stroll and recreation activities. There are many residential complex, apartments and societies. A historical Gurdwara named Gurdwara Mata Sunder Kaur, commemorates visit of Mata Sundari, Baba Deep Singh and Bhai Mani Singh, is situated in locality and managed by Budha Dal. Adjacent Mattaur village, also known as Komagata Maru Nagar is famous for hosting of All India Congress session in 1975 where Mrs Indra Gandhi also attended the session.

The Sanitary Garden or Kala Sagar (lit. 'ocean of art') is an art exhibition in Chandigarh, India consisting of sculptures made from toilets and other sanitary items.The garden is a unique government museum where the world's largest collection of art created purely from damaged or discarded sanitary items is exhibited. The collection of artworks was created by the artist Vijay Pal Goel, who founded the project in 1998. The Sanitary Garden is situated in sector 36-D, Chandigarh UT, India.The main objective of the project is to generate mass awareness for the reuse of waste materials for environmental protection and to establish a tourist place for disabled people such as the mentally challenged, visually impaired and physically handicapped. The artist was honoured by the Governor of Punjab with the prestigious State Award on Indian Independence Day in 1998 for his contribution to the field of art.
