Clock Face is a village and area of St Helens, England, 5.6 km (3.5 mi) south of the town centre. It is a ward within the Metropolitan Borough of St Helens and forms part of the parish of Bold. Historically a part of Lancashire, the village and area is so named because of a large clock face that adorned the Inn. The name was also adopted by a colliery in the area. The Clock Face public house, although not the original building, is built close to the original location and maintains the naming tradition.

Bold is a civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of St Helens in Merseyside, England. Bold itself is situated to the south east of St Helens, near to the boundaries with Halton and Warrington. The parish extends southwards beyond the M62 motorway and includes the hamlet of Bold Heath along with the Clock Face and New Bold area of St Helens. According to the 2001 Census it had a population of 3,410 at the 2011 Census

Fiddlers Ferry power station is a decommissioned coal fired power station located in Warrington, Cheshire, England. Opened in 1971, the station had a generating capacity of 1,989 megawatts and took water from the River Mersey. After privatisation in 1990, the station was operated by various companies, and from 2004 to 2022 by SSE Thermal. The power station closed on 31 March 2020. The site was acquired by Peel NRE in July 2022. With four of its original eight 114-metre (374 ft) high cooling towers still standing and its 200-metre (660 ft) high chimney, the station is a prominent local landmark and can be seen from as far away as the Peak District and the Pennines. The power station's four northernmost cooling towers were demolished on 3 December 2023, with the remaining four southernmost towers set to be demolished in early 2024.

St Luke's Church, Farnworth, Widnes, is a church in Farnworth, which was once a separate village but is now part of the town of Widnes, Cheshire, England. The church dates back to the 12th century and contains several items of historical interest, particularly hatchments and memorials. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building, and is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Liverpool, the archdeaconry of Warrington and the deanery of Widnes.

Farnworth is part of the town of Widnes which is in the Borough of Halton in the ceremonial county of Cheshire and historic county of Lancashire, England. A village between Prescot and Penketh, its name is now that of an electoral ward in the Borough of Halton with a population in 2004 of 6,300.

The Wheatsheaf is a public house at Mill Lane, St Helens, Merseyside WA9 4HN, England. It was built in 1936–1938 by the brewery Greenall Whitley & Co. Ltd of Warrington, to a design by the architect W. A. Hartley. The building was Grade II listed in 2015 by Historic England as part of a drive to protect some of the country's best interwar pubs. The building was described as an example of "Brewers' Tudor", a type of Tudor Revival architecture. It is also included in CAMRA's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.The pub was built as part of a reform movement to replace "drinking dens" with more civilized drinking. The granting of a licence for the new pub was conditional upon the surrender of the licences of three other public houses in the locality: the Crystal Palace, the Engine and Tender and the Wheatsheaf Hotel. There is a bowling green outside.
