K. J. Somaiya Medical College & Research Centre is a medical college in the heart of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The college was founded by Karamshi Jethabhai Somaiya. It has 50 undergraduate seats for MBBS matriculants.It is situated in the Somaiya Ayurvihar Complex, a 22.5 acre campus located in central Mumbai. It is currently managed by the Somaiya Trust. The Charitable hospital is also a quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients.

Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Ground ( near to chunabhatti railway station ) & Muktadevi Manoranjan Udyan ( near hill road , opposite of Veravali building ). One more ground is located near to railway station also known as small somaiya ground. One Brihanmumbai Mahanagar Palika Garden located exactly opposite to Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Ground which is good for kids and older people especially. The Sion Hillock Fort is a fort in Mumbai (Bombay), India. It was built under the regime of the English East India Company, between 1669 and 1677, atop a conical hillock when Gerard Aungier was the Governor of Bombay. It was notified in 1925 as a Grade I Heritage structure. When it was built, the fort marked the boundary between British-held Parel island and the Portuguese held Salsette Island that lay to the north across the creek.The hillock is situated 500 metres from the Sion railway station. At the base of the hill is the Mumbai Circle office of the Archaeological Survey of India, and a garden – the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Udyan. Nearby forts include the Riwa Fort and Sewri Fort. The fort is dilapidated and a collection of broken stone steps, scattered walls and ruins, overrun by trees and ground cover. The fort wall has a small room on top. A series of pathways lead to it. The fort offers a panoramic view, overlooking the salt pans in the Thane Creek. However vandalism and apathy have taken their toll on the structure. Restoration of the fort had begun in 2009 but was stopped mid-way due to paucity of funds.

The Deonar abattoir is an abattoir (slaughterhouse) located in Deonar, in the eastern suburb of Mumbai, India. The abattoir used to be the largest in Asia in 1971. Goats, Bulls and Ox are made available differing in size and breed cost with ranges anywhere between ₹1,056,789,000 (US$14 million) and ₹50,000,000,789 (US$660 million), the highest a shop has demanded at the abattoir. People used to buy bull and others cattle from here but when Bharatiya Janata Party-Shivsena government came to power in Maharashtra they banned the slaughtering of bull.

It was opened to the public on 2 February 2014, as part of the first phase of Line 1. Wadala Depot is located near the Chunabhatti-Kurla junction of the Eastern Express Highway.

Adarsha Vidyalaya is an English language school located in Sahakar Nagar, Shell Colony, Chembur, Mumbai, India. Established in 1958, it is run by the Kerala Peoples Education Society (KPES). Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel & Shrine of St. Anthony former Our Lady of Good Counsel Church initially known by its name in Portuguese, Nossa Senhora de Bom Concelho, is one of the oldest churches in, Bombay built by the Portuguese Franciscans. It was built at Sion and was initially affiliated to the St. Michael's Church at Mahim in 1596. The artistically done stained glass windows of the Church portray the martyrdom of Blessed Thomas of Tolentino, Fr. James of Padua, Fr. Peter of Siena, a Cleric and Br. Demetrius of Tiflis at Thane, in April 1321.
