San Andrés Totoltepec is a community in Tlalpan Delegacion, Federal District, Mexico. Peterson Schools has its Tlalpan campus in San Andrés Totoltepec.

The Heroic Military College (officially in Spanish: Heroico Colegio Militar) is the major military educational institution in Mexico. It was founded in 1823 and located in the former Palace of the Inquisition in Mexico City. Initially designated as the Cadet Academy, it was renamed in 1823 as the Colegio Militar. The college was relocated in Perote, Veracruz, before being returned to Mexico City, where it was established in the Betlemitas monastery (today occupied by the Interactive Museum of the Economy and the Museum of the Mexican Army and Air Force). From 1835, the Military College was located in the Recogidas Building (destroyed by an earthquake in 1985). Cadets training for the Mexican Navy originally formed part of the student body, but in 1897, the Military Naval School was established as a separate institution in Veracruz. The Military College comes under the supervision of the Mexican Army and Air Force University and the Army Military Education General Directorate.

Colegio Williams ("Williams College") is a private school system in Mexico City, serving preschool through high school (senior high school). It has three campuses: Campus Mixcoac in Mixcoac, Benito Juárez; Campus San Jerónimo in San Jerónimo Lídice, Magdalena Contreras, and Campus Ajusco in San Miguel Ajusco, Tlalpan. Its head office is in the Mixcoac campus.It was founded in 1899 by British educator Camilo John Williams. Originally based in the area of Tacubaya (very close to its current location). It was at first an all-day school, including a boarding house. The school's curriculum was entirely in English; even Roman Catholic events were held in English. It was considered the best school in Mexico for several years mainly due to its high level of English. Recognised as the first school in Mexico and Latin America having English as an actual subject. Around 1904-1905, the school moved to its current location, to what used to be the summer house of José Yves Limantour the Finance Minister of President Porfirio Díaz. This summer house is built in Victorian British style, emulating a small castle in the Scottish Highlands. Mr. Williams was by that time an influential person in the educational board, established by Justo Sierra. When Camilo died, the school was taken over by his eldest son John A. Williams (Mr. Johnny). During this phase, the school lived through its "Golden Years", obtaining prestigious awards in matters of education, and even being recognized outside Mexico by the Philadelphia City Council board of schools. After Mr. Johnny's death his son Carlos J. Williams became Principal followed by Mr. Johnny's brother Charles. Though this period didn't last long, the importance of their work was the school's transformation process from being all-boys to becoming co-educational, the elimination of the boarding house and school and extending the curriculum to the preparatory school levels. After Charles' death, his son Arturo C. Williams became the new principal. He remains the Principal until today. He has faced tough times at the school: the reduction of the school grounds (it at first occupied a whole block of the area, right now is just a third part of what it was in that time; ancient parts of the school are now being used by Telmex and a Comercial Mexicana supermarket), the construction of the Mixcoac Mexico City metro station in front of the school, the increase of the delinquency around the Mixcoac area, and the struggling with other Anglo schools. As a solution of the reduction of the original school area, he established 2 more campuses: one with a new elementary school and the kindergarten in the southern part of the city in San Jeronimo in the Magdalena Contreras borough, and a didactic farm and sporting grounds in the Tlalpan borough, near Mount Ajusco. The school offers the IBO international education programme.

The Universidad Intercontinental (commonly known as UIC; in English: Intercontinental University) is a private Catholic University, located in Mexico City. Founded in 1976 by Guadalupe Missionaries and being one of the only six Mexican universities in the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU). With historical strengths in dentistry, Psychology, and Pedagogy, it is one of the top Mexican universities in these fields. World leaders in the area of communications such as Rodrigo Flores López, Alfonso de Anda and Adriana Sodi majored from Universidad Intercontinental.

The 1966 Eisenhower Trophy took place October 27 to 30 at the Club de Golf Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico. It was the fifth World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 32 four-man teams. The best three scores for each round counted towards the team total. Australia won the Eisenhower Trophy for the second time, finishing two strokes ahead of the silver medalists, United States. Great Britain and Ireland finished four strokes behind the United States and took the bronze medal while South Africa finished fourth. Ronnie Shade, representing Great Britain and Ireland, was the leading individual with a score of 283, 5 under par, seven strokes better than Patrick Cros from France.

Xochimilco is the southern terminal of the Xochimilco Light Rail. It is located in the south of Mexico City in the borough of Xochimilco.

The Lorena Ochoa Invitational was a women's professional golf tournament in México on the LPGA Tour. Hosted by Lorena Ochoa, the event debuted in November 2008 at the course where she learned to play, Guadalajara Country Club in Guadalajara. The Lorena Ochoa Invitational was a 72-hole limited-field tournament, limited to 36 golfers. The top five in the Rolex Women's World Rankings were invited, in addition to the top 26 players on the LPGA money list not already in the field via the rankings. Another five players were invited through sponsor exemptions. In 2014, the tournament moved to the Club de Golf México in Mexico City, a par-72 layout set at 6,684 yards (6,112 m).In November 2016, it was announced that the event would move to the first week of May in 2017 as a match play event, the Lorena Ochoa Match Play, with a field of 64 players and $1.2 million purse. The event was not included on the 2018 schedule. During the fall of 2018, Mexican media outlets reported a possible return in time for the event to be included in the 2019 LPGA Tour season.

The 14th federal electoral district of Mexico City (Distrito electoral federal 14 de la Ciudad de México; previously "of the Federal District") is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of the 22 currently operational districts in Mexico City. It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the fourth region.

The 1967 World Cup took place 9–12 November at the Club de Golf Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico. It was the 15th World Cup event, which was named the Canada Cup until 1966 and changed its name to the World Cup in 1967. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 40 teams. Each team consisted of two players from a country. The combined score of each team determined the team results. The American team of Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer won by 13 strokes over the New Zealand team of Bob Charles and Walter Godfrey. The individual competition was won by Palmer.

The 1958 Canada Cup took place 20–23 November at the Club de Golf México in Mexico City, Mexico. It was the sixth Canada Cup event, which became the World Cup in 1967. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 32 teams. These were the same 30 teams that had competed in 1957 without Thailand but with the addition of Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela. Each team consisted of two players from a country. The combined score of each team determined the team results. The Irish team of Harry Bradshaw and Christy O'Connor Snr won by three strokes over the Spanish team of Ángel Miguel and Sebastián Miguel. The individual competition was won by Ángel Miguel, who beat Harry Bradshaw at the third hole of a sudden-death playoff.

Fuentes Brotantes de Tlalpan National Park is a national park located in the Tlalpan district of southern Mexico City. It was declared a National Park on 28 September 1936, on what was previously known as the Rancho Teochtíhuitl and the Barranca de los Manantiales.
