Major General David McMurtrie Gregg is a monumental statue located in Reading, Pennsylvania, United States. The monument was designed by Henry Augustus Lukeman and consists of an equestrian statue depicting David McMurtrie Gregg, a military officer who had served in the Union Army during the American Civil War. The monument was dedicated in 1922, several years after Gregg's death in Reading in 1916.

This allows the HSBC to be a major cultural magnet, drawing people to our community."The Historical Society houses materials relating to the early history of Berks County in its museum and in the Henry Janssen Library. Over 10,000 members and patrons visit during the year. The Society educates students from public and private schools in the area and is visited by researchers from all over the country.

Located in the Queen Anne Historic District, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Queen Anne Historic District is a national historic district located in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania. The district encompasses 2,405 contributing buildings in Reading built between about 1880 and 1925. The district consists primarily of semi-detached houses and rowhouses, with a few stone church buildings and small commercial buildings. Most of the buildings are constructed of brick and reflective of Late Victorian and early 20th-century architectural styles. The churches are St. Mary's Episcopal Church (1904) and Wesley United Methodist Church (1922). Located in the district and separately listed are the Charles S. Foos Elementary School and former Meinig Glove Factory-E. Richard Meinig Co.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The Skew Arch Bridge in Reading, Pennsylvania, also known as the Askew Bridge and nicknamed the Soap and Whiskey Bridge, is an historic skew arch bridge that was completed in 1857. Its design enabled it to carry two tracks of the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad (P&R) at an angle over Sixth Street in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.This bridge was acquired by Conrail after the P&R's demise in 1976 and was transferred to Norfolk Southern Railway in 1999.

Reading Depot, commonly referred to as Reading outer station, was a train station in Reading, Pennsylvania, that served as a major hub between Philadelphia and Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Built in 1874, the station closed on March 16, 1969; this was following the discontinuance of the last medium distance route to pass through the city, the Reading Railway's Queen of the Valley (Harrisburg–Jersey City). It was destroyed by fire on February 20, 1978.The station was one of two in Reading, the other being Franklin Street station.

Stirling is an historic, American mansion that is located at 1120 Centre Avenue in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Charles S. Foos Elementary School, also known as Douglass and Weiser School, is a historic elementary school building located at Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1903 and was expanded and renovated in 1912. A small addition was built in 1921. It was originally in the Romanesque Revival style, but transformed to the Classical Revival style with the renovations. The C-shaped brick building contains 21 classrooms and an auditorium that seats over 200. The school closed in 1979. Part of the very large school building is now a nursery school, and part condominiums. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is located in the Queen Anne Historic District.

The Medical Arts Building in Reading, Pennsylvania is located at 230 North Fifth Street and was designed by Frederick A. Muhlenberg founder of Muhlenberg Greene Architects.Built in 1930, the Medical Arts Building was developed and owned by the Reading Medical Arts Building Corporation. The board members of the corporation included architect Frederick A. Muhlenberg, who served as President of the Board. The building was constructed at a cost of, approximately, $500,000, and the project created employment for many during the Great Depression.When completed, the 10-story building contained 55 offices, a pharmacy on the first floor, and a coffee shop located in the basement. The Medical Arts Building was the first building in Reading to have a penthouse space. The penthouse contained a kitchen, lounge and fireplace, and the space served as a club house for the building's tenants. Another feature of the building, which was not typical for office buildings of the time, had the rest rooms for men and women located on each floor of the building.Mr. Muhlenberg eventually moved his architecture practice to the Medical Arts Building where the firm remained until 1972. The Medical Arts Building is still open and occupied.

GoggleWorks Center for the Arts is a community art and cultural resource center located in Reading, Pennsylvania. The mission of the GoggleWorks is “to transform lives through unique interactions with art.” Located in the former Willson Goggle Factory building, GoggleWorks Center for the Arts features eight teaching studios in ceramics, hot and warm glass, metalsmithing, photography, printmaking, woodworking and virtual reality; 35 juried artist studios; and headquarters of over 40 cultural organizations. GoggleWorks also includes several exhibition galleries, a 130-seat film theatre, a bar/restaurant, and store featuring handcrafted works by over 200 artists working within the building and beyond. Admission (excluding special events) and parking are always free. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
