Targhar railway station is a proposed railway station in Navi Mumbai's Raigad district, Maharashtra. Its code is TRGR. It will serve Targhar area of Navi Mumbai. The station proposal included two platforms.

Navi Mumbai International Airport, officially D. B. Patil International Airport, is an international airport being constructed in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It will serve in parallel as an alternative with Mumbai's existing Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA), becoming the second airport of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The airport is a greenfield international airport being built by City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO). It will be built in three phases, out of which the first phase of the airport will be able to handle 25 million passengers per annum. It will be expanded to its final capacity of third phase to handle more than 90 million passengers per annum. The Texas-based Jacobs Engineering Group, has charted the final masterplan for the airport, while the passenger terminals and the Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower have been designed by London-based Zaha Hadid Architects.The ₹16,700 crore (US$2.1 billion) project is being executed by Navi Mumbai International Airport Limited (NMIAL), a special-purpose vehicle formed by the Adani Airports Holdings Limited and CIDCO, which will hold 74 percent and 26 percent equity shares of NMIAL respectively. CIDCO will build the project through a public–private partnership (PPP) model on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. The airport covers an area of 1,160 hectares (4.5 sq.mi).The airport's construction was started in August 2021, and is expected to be fully operational by 2025.It will be connected with Navi Mumbai Metro's Line 1 and with the proposed Mumbai Metro's Line 8 (Gold Line). In the proposed Mumbai-Hyderabad High-Speed Rail (HSR) corridor from Mumbai to Hyderabad, the airport will be the starting point of the corridor, by having a terminal station.

Bamandongari is a historical village and a node of Navi Mumbai's Raigad district, situated in Maharashtra, India. There is Hanuman Temple in Bamandongari and also a primary school. The place is a famous religious spot having very old 'Lord Shiva temple' situated on the sea shore in the vicinity of village Morave. Mahashivaratri, a festival of Lord Shiva, is celebrated annually here by arranging a carnival and small fair by villagers of nearby villages. Recent developments: The project of commercial and residential buildings of Ulwe node is in progress around the village and it is now surrounded by Sector 6, Sector 9, Sector 18 and Sector 19 of Ulwe node of Navi Mumbai.Revent developments: Bamandongri railway station on the railway line connecting CBD Belapur and Nerul to JNPT (Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust) is being completed on 11 November 2018 and in operation since 12 November 2018.

CBD Belapur is connected to other parts of Mumbai through railways, BEST & NMMT buses. It had a ferry service for traveling to Elephanta caves from Sector-11. New Panvel is a residential, commercial and educational node of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra and comes under the Konkan division. New Panvel was developed on marshy land and was previously a Mango cultivated area. New Panvel is divided into two parts: New Panvel (E), on the eastern side of Panvel railway station and Khanda Colony or New Panvel (W) on the western side of it. Both parts of New Panvel are connected by a flyover bridge also known as Khanda Colony Flyover. New Panvel (W) is also popularly called Khanda Colony by the local villagers, as the city is adjacent to two small villages Dhakta Khanda and Motha Khanda (Greater Khanda). Khanda and Khandeshwar Railway stations derive their names from a very old Shiva Temple known as Khandeshwar Mahadev along the sides of the lake of Khandeshwar. The locals are host the Mahashivratri festival on the banks of the Khandeshwar lake every year. Takka Naka is a new node of New Panvel being developed by CIDCO. Major commercial activities are present in sectors 15 to 19 just outside the railway station on the eastern side. K Mall is a shopping center in New Panvel's, Takka Naka node while Orion Mall along the Mumbai-Pune highway beside the Panvel Bus depot is emerging as a shopping destination in town.The planned Navi Mumbai International Airport is expected to affect real estate prices in the surrounding area of New Panvel which are under development. Sector 17 of New Panvel West bound by JNPT bypass and NH-4 alongside Motha Khanda is located near the railway station. A few residential buildings in New Panvel West come under the "A Type" CIDCO settlements, offer budget housing for lower income groups.

Sainagar is a large suburb with more than 5% of the population of the city of Panvel where more than 300,000 people live. It is close to the proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport, there is also an international exhibition center and an engineering college. Several developments are currently taking place and Panvel is located at 18.98° N 73.1° E[1]. It has an average elevation of 28 metres (91 feet). It is near to the Gadhi river.

Kharghar is the fourth railway station from Panvel on the Harbour Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network. Local trains of the Harbour Line in the Central Railway ply between Panvel and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus stations and the Western line is connected through the Vadala station. It takes about 65 minutes to reach Kharghar by suburban train from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. A new broad-gauge line will connect Kharghar to Karjat via Panvel. The line connecting to Karjat will be completed in 2019.

Khandeshwar is a railway station on the Harbour Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network. In 2014, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) announced that it would set up an Inter State Bus Terminal on private-public participation at Khandeshwar Station. Khandeshwar railway station caters to New Panvel West but is built away from the city, while it is strategically near to Kamothe. The station derives its name from the Khandeshwar Mahadev Mandir and Khandeshwar Lake and Park. As Khandeshwar Railway station adjoins the nearer Kamothe node the people from Kamothe prefer Khandeshwar station over Manasarowar railway station which is cornered in the Jui pVillage.
