Bořislavka (Prague Metro)

Dejvice is a historical community, a municipal quarter of the Prague 6 district of Prague, Czech Republic. Its history can be traced back to the late Roman era. Dejvice is known for its appeal to the upper middle class, foreign diplomatic corps and as a university district. It is also the home to Dukla Prague, one of the most successful football clubs of the Czechoslovak era.

Veleslavín (Czech pronunciation: [ˈvɛlɛslaviːn], German: Weleslawin) is a district of Prague, part of Prague 6, situated in the west of the city approximately 5 km from Ruzyně International Airport. It was probably founded in the 10th or 11th century, first recorded in records from the nearby Břevnov Monastery, and has been part of Prague since 1922. As of 2006, 6,548 people live here.Veleslavín chateau, a single-floored baroque chateau located at the address Veleslavínská 1, is recorded as a cultural monument. The southern part of Veleslavín is part of the housing estate named Petřiny, the remainder of which is in Břevnov, and contains a number of modernist buildings designed by Vlado Milunić.

Hotel Praha was a luxury hotel located in the Dejvice neighborhood of Prague, Czech Republic. Built in 1981, the hotel was used by Communist Party of Czechoslovakia officials and their guests until 1989, when it became open to the public. It was demolished in 2014 after being purchased by billionaire Petr Kellner.

Park Lane International School is an independent international day school located in Prague, the Czech Republic. The Park Lane student community consists of 600+ students, representing more than 40 nationalities. The home to foreign student ratio is 54% to 46%. The EYFS, Primary and Secondary campuses currently cater for children from Pre-Nursery (aged 2-3) to Year 13 (aged 16-18). Following its IB World School accreditation in February 2018, Park Lane has recently expanded to accommodate pupils (aged 16–18), who study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at the senior school branch at the Klárov site of Prague 1 campus. Although classified as a British international school, because of its location in the Czech Republic, Park Lane also offers an intensive Czech programme for all pupils. This programme ensures that Park Lane’s students pass their annual Czech state examinations as required by Czech law.

Břevnov Monastery (Czech: Břevnovský klášter, German: Stift Breunau) is a Benedictine archabbey in the Břevnov district of Prague, Czech Republic. It was founded by Saint Adalbert, the second Bishop of Prague, in 993 AD with the support of Bohemian Duke Boleslaus. The first Benedictine male monastery in Bohemia, it also has the oldest tradition of beer brewing in the Czech Republic. Brewing was interrupted several times in the history, but up to today, the Břevnov Monastery Brewery brew its beer here.

Divoká Šárka (Czech pronunciation: [ˈɟɪvokaː ˈʃaːrka]; Wild Šárka) is a nature reserve on the northwestern outskirts of Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic.Around the 6th century the Slavs came to this area. In the 7th to 9th centuries above the Džbán gorge was a Slavic settlement, with an area of approximately 20 ha (3 ha fortified settlement). A gorge in the area is named after the female warrior Šárka, who, according to Ancient Bohemian Legends, threw herself to her death from its cliffs after betraying her lover Ctirad during the Maidens' War.It is the closest site to the city where the black woodpecker lives.There is a lake Džbán (The Pitcher) on the border of the Divoká Šárka reserve area and a public swimming pool located in the middle of the reserve. The water of the pool is supplied by clean and fresh water from the Šárka spring creek that passes through the park and the lake.

Nádraží Veleslavín (English: Veleslavín Station) is a station on Line A of the Prague Metro. In early March 2015 it was put into trial operation and opened on 6 April 2015, together with Bořislavka, Petřiny and Nemocnice Motol stations.

Břevnov (Czech pronunciation: [ˈbr̝ɛvnof]) is a district in the west of Prague, located in Prague 6. The district is home to the Břevnov Monastery (Czech: Břevnovský klášter). On the territory of Břevnov stems Brusnice brook. Břevnov was first mentioned in the 10th century. In 1907 was promoted to the city and since 1921 then became part of the City of Prague. Apart from the Břevnov monastery, we can find other remarkable buildings on the area. The building of the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences is located in the north-western of Břevnov. The legend of this institute was its former director Otto Wichterle, to whom is devoted the monument in front of the building. Others are: Ladronka homestead, Hostinec U Kaštanu and Hotel Pyramida. There is also a large Military University Hospital (Ústřední vojenská nemocnice). The Petřiny metro station on line A is located in the extreme west of Břevnov. The rest of the district is served by a tram line which runs along Bělohorská street.

The Villa Müller (Czech: Müllerova vila, German: Haus Müller) is a Modernist villa in Prague, Czech Republic built in 1930. It was designed by Adolf Loos as a residence for František Müller, co-owner of the Kapsa-Müller construction company from Pilsen.

Praha-Veleslavín railway station is located in Veleslavín, Prague 6, on line 120, linking Prague's Masarykovo nádraží with Kladno and Rakovník. The station was opened in 1863 on an already existing line, between Praha-Dejvice and Praha-Ruzyně. Freight services through this station were discontinued entirely since the 2008 closing of the spur to the nearby heating plant. The station is located a short distance from a tram stop on Evropská třída, which is also connected to Line A of the Prague Metro following completion of the current extension from Dejvická to Motol in 2015. The planned express line from Masarykovo to Ruzyně Airport will pass through Veleslavín, and increase the frequency of trains on the Prague-Kladno line to 4tph (trains per hour) in each direction, compared to today's 1tph.

Střešovice is a neighborhood of green, quiet, village-like streets in the west of Prague. It is located in the Prague 6 district. Střešovice is often called the "local Beverly Hills" because it has been home to some famous residents, including Czech President Václav Havel. The neighborhood is a 10-minute walk from Prague Castle, and the Dejvice district. The major sights include Villa Müller by functionalist architect Adolf Loos (1930) and The Church of St Norbert in Romanesque Revival (1890-1891) style.

Vokovice is a district of Prague city, part of Prague 6. It has been a part of Prague since 1922 and as of 2006, 11,197 people live there.Part of this district is Šárecké údolí, a natural valley, part of which was declared in 1964 as protected territory in Prague. Part of the valley is a pond called Džbán, with a swimming pool and a nearby camp. Interesting buildings include the tram depot named Vozovna Vokovice, which is sometimes opened to public.
