Confidencen, or Ulriksdal Palace Theatre (Swedish: Ulriksdals slottsteater), is a theatre in the park of Ulriksdal Palace in Solna, just outside the Swedish capital Stockholm. Built in the 1750s and restored from the late 20th century, it is the oldest Rococo theatre in Sweden.

The SAS Frösundavik Office Building is an office building in Frösundavik, Solna Municipality, Sweden, north of Stockholm. It serves as the head office of Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and the SAS Group. The SAS head office was for a brief period located in a different building on the property of Stockholm Arlanda Airport in Sigtuna Municipality.In 2000 Jurian van Meel, author of The European Office: Office Design and National Context, wrote that the former SAS head office "is probably Sweden's best known 'groundscraper'"; Meel stated that Sweden's groundscrapers are more well known compared to high-rise buildings, which according to Meel are not common in Sweden.The building also houses offices of E. Merck AB, the Swedish representation of Merck KGaA Germany. CSC Sverige AB, a subsidiary of Computer Sciences Corporation, also has its offices in the building.

Bergshamra is a suburb within the Stockholm urban area in Sweden. Administratively it is in Solna Municipality of Stockholm County. The suburb is surrounded on three sides by water, with the Stocksundet sea strait to the north-east, the Ålkistan channel to the south-east, and the Brunnsviken to the south-west. Bergshamra station is one of the 100 stations of the Stockholm metro system.

Bergshamra metro station is a station on the red line of the Stockholm metro, located in Bergshamra, Solna Municipality. The station was opened on 29 January 1978 as part of the extension from Universitetet to Mörby centrum.

Igelbäcken (Swedish: (the) Leech Stream) is a small stream in northern Stockholm, Sweden. The drainage area, part of the Royal National City Park and divided into several nature reserves, is shared by the municipalities of Järfälla, Sollentuna, Solna, Stockholm, and Sundbyberg.

Ulriksdal is a station on Stockholm's commuter rail network, located 7.1 km north of Stockholm Central Station in the Järva area within Solna Municipality. The station consists of a single island platform with a ticket hall on the platform, accessible via an underground pedestrian tunnel. As of 2015, the station had approximately 3,600 boardings per weekday. The station is located approximately 1.4 km south-west of Ulriksdal Palace.

Ulriksdal Palace (Swedish: Ulriksdals slott) is a royal palace situated on the banks of the Edsviken in the Royal National City Park in Solna Municipality, 6 km north of Stockholm. It was originally called Jakobsdal for its owner Jacob De la Gardie, who had it built by architect Hans Jacob Kristler in 1643–1645 as a country retreat. He later passed on to his son, Magnus Gabriel De la Gardie, from whom it was purchased in 1669 by Queen Hedvig Eleonora of Sweden. The present design is mainly the work of architect Nicodemus Tessin the Elder and dates from the late 17th century.

Morianbron (Swedish: Blackamoor Bridge) is a small bridge in the gardens of the Ulriksdal Palace in Solna, Sweden, named after the pair of sculptures of so-called blackamoors (e.g. black Moors) standing by the bridge. Arguably the smallest bridge in the Swedish capital, it also passes over the indeed small stream Igelbäcken flowing through the gardens. The low wooden bridge is on either side flanked by two bronze sculptures painted in black of two black men dressed in loinclothes pulling a fishing net passing under the bridge. The two sculptures, moulded in the early 19th century by the sculptor Per Lundgren, were brought to the Ulriksdal Palace from the royal gardens at Hagaparken. There, they were standing by the network of canals that once flew through the park.According to an amusing story, a lady standing on the bridge fell in love with the two men and, not being able to choose between them, threw herself into the stream to end her pang of love. The anecdote not only suits the romantic and picturesque environment, it also reflects the fancy for exotic people prevalent during the 18th and early 19th century, typically represented by artists such as Eugène Delacroix.

It covers a wide spectrum of activities, such as: surveillance, epidemic intelligence, response, scientific advice, microbiology, preparedness, public health training, international relations, health communication, and the scientific journal Eurosurveillance.The centre was established in 2004 and is headquartered in Solna, Sweden.

Stocksundet is a strait in Stockholm County in Sweden. It connects the Edsviken sea inlet, to the west, with the Lilla Värtan strait and eventually the Baltic sea, to the east. The strait also forms the border between the suburb of Stocksund in Danderyd Municipality, to the north, and the suburb of Bergshamra in Solna Municipality, to the south. The strait is approximately 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) long and varies in width between 90 metres (300 ft) and 250 metres (820 ft), whilst its depth varies between 6 metres (20 ft) and 15 metres (49 ft). Stocksundet is supposed to have received its name from the logs (Swedish: "stock") which used to be laid out in the water to stop invading ships in the Early Middle Ages. This name then led to the place name of Stocksund, on the north side of the sound, and to the heraldry shield of the then Stocksund Municipality between 1955 and 1966.By the 1400s, the road between Roslagen and Stockholm crossed Stocksundet, and by the 17th century, a ferry was provided. In 1716 the first bridge across the Stocksundet was built, principally to facilitate the movement of troops to the west in the event of an attack by Russia. Since then, there have been a total of seven bridges built across the strait.

Haga Trädgård is a garden located at the northern end of Haga Park in Solna, Sweden. Haga Trädgård was founded by King Gustav III in the 1785. It was intended that it should become the kitchen garden to the royal household. At the time Gustav III had plans to build a very large palace just 300m from Haga Trädgård but eventually due to lack of available finance the palace was never built. The Haga Tradgard gardens were indeed established and provided the royal household with many different local and exotic vegetables and fruits. In 1812 the King purchased 20 figs from the gardens at a cost of 2 kronor each. At the time a garden employee earned just 7.5 öre per hour. The gardens flourished and became a well known source for flowers and vegetables. In 1917 the department store NK took over the gardens to grow fresh vegetables for Stockholm's inhabitants. It was at the tail end of the first World War and fresh vegetables were quite scarce. In 1917, NK built a splendid conservatory which now is Stockholms oldest conservatory. In 1933 the town council of Stockholm took over the gardens and produced flowers for official use and for embellishment of squares and gardens. In 1989 Stephen and Marie Fried opened the Fjärilshuset ("Butterfly House") in Haga Gardens which once again turned the area into a visitor attraction. The butterfly house was so successful that Stephen and Marie Fried bought all of the buildings from the town council with the Royal Swedish Land Agency retaining the land. Nowadays Fjärilshuset is a national museum with the buildings being held privately and the land leased by Fjarilshuset Haga Tradgard AB. Haga Tradgard is successively being restored so that it mirrors its historical continuity.

Brunnsviken (literally The Bay of Wells) is a 3.5 kilometres (2.2 mi) by 0.4–0.5 kilometres (0.25–0.31 mi) brackish lake in Sweden located on the boundary between Solna Municipality and Stockholm Municipality, connecting to Lilla Värtan through Ålkistan. It has a perimeter of 12 kilometres (7.5 mi). Around Brunnsviken there are a wide range of interesting buildings and facilities. Brunnsviken stretches all the way from Vasastaden, Stockholm in the south to Bergshamra, Solna in the north, with Hagaparken along the western shoreline. In the 1700s, Gustav III had plans to build a continuous belt of English parks around the lake. Since 1994, Brunnsviken has been a part of the Royal National City Park.
