Stade de la Meinau

Krimmeri-Meinau station (French: Gare de Krimmeri-Meinau) is the last passenger station before the German border on the Appenweier–Strasbourg railway line. Both sides being within the Schengen Area, no passport or border controls apply. The station is situated in the Neudorf quarter of Strasbourg. The station is served by regional trains (TER Grand Est) to Strasbourg and Offenburg.

The Battle of Strasbourg, also known as the Battle of Argentoratum, was fought in 357 between the Western Roman army under the Caesar (deputy emperor) Julian and the Alamanni tribal confederation led by the joint paramount King Chnodomar. The battle took place near Strasbourg (Alsace, France), called Argentoratum in Ammianus Marcellinus' account, Argentorate in the Tabula Peutingeriana (Section 2). Although possibly outnumbered, the Roman army won a decisive victory after a hard-fought struggle with the Alamanni. With negligible casualties of their own, the Romans drove the Alamanni beyond the river, inflicting heavy losses. The Roman force, the imperial escort army of Julian, was small but of high quality. The battle was won by the skill of the Roman infantry, with the Roman cavalry initially performing poorly. The battle was the climax of Julian's campaigns in 355–57 to evict barbarian marauders from Gaul and to restore the Roman defensive line of fortifications along the Rhine, which had been largely destroyed during the Roman civil war of 350–53. In the years following his victory at Strasbourg, Julian was able to repair and garrison the Rhine forts and impose tributary status on the Germanic tribes beyond the border.

The Conservatoire de Strasbourg is a music conservatory located in Strasbourg, France. The school was created using funds given to the city of Strasbourg by arts patron Louis Apffel in 1839. The conservatoire's first day of classes began on 3 January 1855.

The Hôpital civil de Strasbourg is one of the oldest medical establishments in France. Today it is a major component of the University Hospitals of Strasbourg, a teaching hospital that is the biggest employer in Alsace, with over 11,000 employees, ranking fourth in France in terms of quality.

Saint Nicholas Church, Strasbourg (French: Église Saint Nicolas) is a small Gothic church in Strasbourg, France. Jean Calvin led services and preached at this church in 1538.Albert Schweitzer was the pastor of the church from 1900 to 1913 and used to play the organ there.The Church no longer functions as a parish church, due to the decline of the population of the centre of Strasbourg. Today it is used by a Charismatic group called "Renouveau Saint Nicholas". The charismatic group, led by the pastors Daniel Hebert and Pastor Ringerbach, began renting the church for their Sunday services in 1975. However, the Church remains affiliated to the Protestant Church of Augsburg Confession of Alsace and Lorraine (EPCAAL).

The Musée alsacien (Alsatian museum) is a museum in Strasbourg in the Bas-Rhin department of France. It opened on 11 May 1907 and is dedicated to all aspects of (mostly rural) daily life in pre-industrial and early industrial Alsace. It contains over 5000 exhibits and is notable for the reconstruction of the interiors of several traditional houses. It also features a rich collection of artifacts documenting the everyday life of Alsatian Jews. The museum is located in several Renaissance timber framed houses on the Quai Saint-Nicolas, on the banks of the Ill river. In 1917 it was bought by the city of Strasbourg. Another, smaller, Musée alsacien exists in the city of Haguenau, 30 kilometers north of Strasbourg.

The Sainte-Madeleine Church (Église Sainte-Madeleine, German: Magdalenenkirche) is a Catholic church in Strasbourg, France, which was built in Gothic style in the late 15th century, but largely rebuilt in a style close to Jugendstil after a devastating fire in 1904. Destroyed again during World War II, the church was re-constructed in its modern form. This is the fourth building dedicated to Mary Magdalene built in the city since the 13th century. The church is classified as a historic monument by a decree of 6 December 1898.

Ancienne Douane (French pronunciation: ​[ɑ̃sjɛn dwan], "Old Custom house") is a 14th-century building on the Grande Île, the historic city centre of Strasbourg, France. The structure is classified as a Monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture since 1948.The custom house was built in 1358 and enlarged in 1389. It was heavily damaged by British and American bombing raids on 11 August 1944 and left as a ruin for almost two decades before being rebuilt according to the medieval plans by architect Robert Will (1910–1998).The Ancienne Douane currently houses a restaurant and a covered market.

The Musée historique (Historical museum) de la ville de Strasbourg is a museum in Strasbourg in the Bas-Rhin department of France. It is located in the Renaissance building of the former slaughterhouse (Grande boucherie) and is dedicated to the tumultuous history of the city from the early Middle Ages until the contemporary period.
