The Apollo is a historic storeship that is buried at a location in downtown San Francisco, California, at the site of the Old Federal Reserve Bank. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. Parts of the ship have been uncovered, most recently in 1921 and 1925. Photographs from the 1921 uncovering exist. The 1925 excavation revealed coins from 1797, 1825, and 1840, a gold nugget, and assorted navigational pieces. One of numerous buried ships within San Francisco, it is an archeological site, listed at least partially for its potential to yield information in the future.The ship was acquired by Moses Yale Beach of the New York Sun in 1848 for the California Gold Rush, and was later converted into the "Apollo Saloon", serving alcohol, donoughts and coffee.

One Embarcadero Center is a class-A office skyscraper in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. The building is part of the Embarcadero Center complex of six interconnected buildings and one off-site extension. The skyscraper, completed in 1971, stands 569 ft (173 m) tall with 45 stories without its flagpole. One Embarcadero Center is the second-tallest building out of the entire complex, standing one foot shorter than Four Embarcadero Center, which is the tallest in the complex.As of 2021, Boston Properties owns the building.Part of Francis Ford Coppola's The Conversation was filmed in One Embarcadaro. The Laughing Policeman starring Walter Matthau and Bruce Dern also was filmed at One Embarcadero Center.

Two Embarcadero Center is an office skyscraper located off The Embarcadero in the financial district of San Francisco, California. The 126 m (413 ft), 30-story tower, completed in 1974 is part of the Embarcadero Center, a complex of seven towers, of which two are hotels. Twin-tower Three Embarcadero Center is the same height, but has one additional floor.

One Maritime Plaza is an office tower located in San Francisco's Financial District near the Embarcadero Center towers on Clay and Front Streets. The building, built as the Alcoa Building for Alcoa Corporation and completed in 1964, stands 121 m (398 feet) and has 25 floors of office space. The surrounding plaza was finished in 1967. This is one of the earliest buildings to use seismic bracing in the form of external trusses and X-braces.

Old Waldorf was a music venue located in San Francisco, California. The famous club was located at 444 Battery St, and was originally opened by Jeffrey Pollack in 1976 before selling it to Bill Graham who closed it in 1983. During its time Old Waldorf hosted some of the biggest names in the music industry, such as Warren Zevon, AC/DC, Devo, Dire Straits, Blue Öyster Cult, Iggy Pop, Blondie, Rory Gallagher, Cheap Trick, Metallica, Pat Benatar, Journey, R.E.M., Television, Spirit, Poco, Afrika Bambaataa, Gary Moore, U2, Dead Kennedys, Albert King, The Tubes, Elvin Bishop, Les Paul, Peter Tosh and many more The Punch Line comedy club now occupies part of Old Waldorf's location.

Maritime Plaza, sometimes known as Maritime Plaza Park, is a 2.1-acre (0.85 ha) elevated park and roof garden in San Francisco, California in the Financial District, in the U.S. state of California. Designed in 1967 by landscape architects Sasaki, Walker and Associates, it surrounds the One Maritime Plaza building. The park can be accessed from the ground level via staircases or via elevated walkways from adjacent Embarcadero Center on the south and apartment buildings on the north. The park is owned and operated by the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department. Maritime Plaza is bordered by Washington Street on the north, Davis Street on the east, Clay Street on the south, and Battery Street on the west. Several pieces of the San Francisco Civic Art Collection are located in the plaza, including Standing Figure – Knife Edge by Henry Moore, Bronze Horse by Marino Marini, Bronze Icosaspirale by Charles O. Perry, and Limits of Horizon II by Jan Peter Stern. The central Peacock Fountain, sometimes referred to as the dandelion fountain, was designed by architect Robert Woodward.

Punch Line San Francisco is a comedy club located at 444 Battery St in San Francisco's Financial District. It has a sister club in Sacramento, California, and is also associated with Cobb's Comedy Club, now in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco. It is San Francisco's oldest running comedy club. The club was originally a restaurant during the day and the backstage hangout for The Old Waldorf nightclub next door at night.

150 California Street is a 24-story, 101 m (331 ft) office tower skyscraper located on California Street in the financial district of San Francisco, California.

The Tadich Grill is a seafood restaurant located in the Financial District neighborhood of San Francisco, California, United States. It is the oldest continuously running restaurant in San Francisco, having opened in 1849 as a coffee stand. In the 1920s, the Tadich Grill claimed to be the first American restaurant to grill seafood over mesquite charcoal, a traditional Croatian method.

Embarcadero Center is a commercial complex of four office towers, two hotels, a shopping center with more than 125 stores, bars, and restaurants, and a fitness center on three levels located in San Francisco, California. There is an outdoor ice skating rink during winter months. Embarcadero Center sits on a 9.8-acre (4.0 ha) site largely bounded by Clay Street (to the north), Sacramento Street (to the south), Battery Street (to the west), and the Embarcadero (to the east), in the financial district of San Francisco.Developed by Trammell Crow, David Rockefeller and John Portman, construction began with Tower One in 1971, with the last off-complex extension, Embarcadero West, completed in 1989. The two extension buildings are west of Battery. Boston Properties sold the Embarcadero West building to Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA-CREF) in December 2005 for more than US$205 million.The 4.8 million square feet (445,900 m2) complex accommodates offices for 14,000 people along with mixed-use areas accommodating retail, dining, entertainment and cinema functions. The cinema’s operator closed its doors permanently in February 2022.

Le Méridien San Francisco is a luxury 360-room hotel in the financial district of San Francisco, California. The property was formerly the Park Hyatt San Francisco. HEI Hotels & Resorts bought the Park Hyatt from Strategic Hotel Capital in 2006 and rebranded it as a Le Méridien hotel, under franchise from Starwood. In 2010, Chesapeake Lodging Trust bought the hotel from HEI for $143 million. Chesapeake was acquired in 2019 by Park Hotels & Resorts. In 2021, KHP Capital Partners bought the hotel from Park for $222 million.

Embarcadero West, also known as 275 Battery Street, is a 30-story, 123.1 m (404 ft) office skyscraper in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. The building is part of the Embarcadero Center, which is a complex of five office towers and two hotels. The skyscraper, which was completed in 1989, is not connected physically to the other buildings.
