Old Waldorf was a music venue located in San Francisco, California. The famous club was located at 444 Battery St, and was originally opened by Jeffrey Pollack in 1976 before selling it to Bill Graham who closed it in 1983. During its time Old Waldorf hosted some of the biggest names in the music industry, such as Warren Zevon, AC/DC, Devo, Dire Straits, Blue Öyster Cult, Iggy Pop, Blondie, Rory Gallagher, Cheap Trick, Metallica, Pat Benatar, Journey, R.E.M., Television, Spirit, Poco, Afrika Bambaataa, Gary Moore, U2, Dead Kennedys, Albert King, The Tubes, Elvin Bishop, Les Paul, Peter Tosh and many more The Punch Line comedy club now occupies part of Old Waldorf's location.

One Maritime Plaza is an office tower located in San Francisco's Financial District near the Embarcadero Center towers on Clay and Front Streets. The building, built as the Alcoa Building for Alcoa Corporation and completed in 1964, stands 121 m (398 feet) and has 25 floors of office space. The surrounding plaza was finished in 1967. This is one of the earliest buildings to use seismic bracing in the form of external trusses and X-braces.

The Eureka Theatre Company was an American repertory theatre group located in San Francisco, California. It was founded in 1972 as the Shorter Players by Chris Silva, Robert Woodruff and Carl Lumbly. In 1974 its name was changed to the Eureka Theatre. In October 1981 the company was staging David Edgar's The Jail Diary of Albie Sachs when their space in the basement of the Trinity Methodist Church burned in an arson attack.: 27  By 1990 the company had moved to an industrial building at 2730 16th Street in the Mission.: 65 The company is noted because in 1986 Oskar Eustis, then its dramaturg,: 26  and Tony Taccone, then its artistic director,: 25  commissioned a play from Tony Kushner.: 33  Eustis had seen Kushner's play A Bright Room Called Day in New York.: 31  The contract specified it should run no more than 2 hours, and include songs.: 34  With help from a $50,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts,: 34  it eventually turned into Angels in America, two three-and-a-half hour plays with no songs. In 1991 the company staged the world premiere of the first part, Millennium Approaches and staged readings of the second part, Perestroika, which was still being written.: 67 The cost of staging Angels in America, about $250,000, ended the Eureka's career as a production company,: 78  although they continued to present plays, In 1998 the company took over the Gateway Theater in Jackson Square. Due to rising costs and the 2013 diversion of San Francisco's hotel tax fund away from the arts the company closed on 5 July 2017.The Wayback Machine has a list of the company's productions up to 2001, and details of the 2009 to 2017 seasons.

One Embarcadero Center is a class-A office skyscraper in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. The building is part of the Embarcadero Center complex of six interconnected buildings and one off-site extension. The skyscraper, completed in 1971, stands 569 ft (173 m) tall with 45 stories without its flagpole. One Embarcadero Center is the second-tallest building out of the entire complex, standing one foot shorter than Four Embarcadero Center, which is the tallest in the complex.As of 2021, Boston Properties owns the building.Part of Francis Ford Coppola's The Conversation was filmed in One Embarcadaro. The Laughing Policeman starring Walter Matthau and Bruce Dern also was filmed at One Embarcadero Center.

Le Méridien San Francisco is a luxury 360-room hotel in the financial district of San Francisco, California. The property was formerly the Park Hyatt San Francisco. HEI Hotels & Resorts bought the Park Hyatt from Strategic Hotel Capital in 2006 and rebranded it as a Le Méridien hotel, under franchise from Starwood. In 2010, Chesapeake Lodging Trust bought the hotel from HEI for $143 million. Chesapeake was acquired in 2019 by Park Hotels & Resorts. In 2021, KHP Capital Partners bought the hotel from Park for $222 million.

The U.S. Customhouse is a historic custom house located in San Francisco, California. It was built to house offices of the United States Customs Service.

The Apollo is a historic storeship that is buried at a location in downtown San Francisco, California, at the site of the Old Federal Reserve Bank. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. Parts of the ship have been uncovered, most recently in 1921 and 1925. Photographs from the 1921 uncovering exist. The 1925 excavation revealed coins from 1797, 1825, and 1840, a gold nugget, and assorted navigational pieces. One of numerous buried ships within San Francisco, it is an archeological site, listed at least partially for its potential to yield information in the future.The ship was acquired by Moses Yale Beach of the New York Sun in 1848 for the California Gold Rush, and was later converted into the "Apollo Saloon", serving alcohol, donoughts and coffee.

The Old Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Building, now known as the Bently Reserve, was the main headquarters building of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco for nearly sixty years. The building is located at 400 Sansome Street, in the Financial District of San Francisco. Designed by George W. Kelham, the building has an Ionic colonnade that is pure Beaux-Arts, while the upper building is in the new Moderne fashion of 1924. The banking lobby at the Sansome Street entrance contains a mural by Jules Guerin, the artist who created the palette for the 1915 Panama–Pacific International Exposition. The Old Federal Reserve was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.In 1983, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco relocated to larger facilities at 101 Market Street, and the 400 Sansome Street location was sold to private developers who rented out the space. Prominent law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe was headquartered in the building until 2002, when the firm moved out of the space. The building is currently owned by private developers Bently Holdings, who currently rent the upper floors as office space. The Banking Hall and board rooms are booked for fundraisers, events, meetings, and conferences.

Two Embarcadero Center is an office skyscraper located off The Embarcadero in the financial district of San Francisco, California. The 126 m (413 ft), 30-story tower, completed in 1974 is part of the Embarcadero Center, a complex of seven towers, of which two are hotels. Twin-tower Three Embarcadero Center is the same height, but has one additional floor.

Embarcadero West, also known as 275 Battery Street, is a 30-story, 123.1 m (404 ft) office skyscraper in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. The building is part of the Embarcadero Center, which is a complex of five office towers and two hotels. The skyscraper, which was completed in 1989, is not connected physically to the other buildings.

The Bank of Italy Building, also known as the Clay-Montgomery Building, is a building in San Francisco, California. This eight-story building became the headquarters of A. P. Giannini's Bank of Italy (precursor to the Bank of America) in 1908 after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire destroyed the original bank building on Montgomery Avenue (now Columbus Avenue) in the nearby neighborhood of North Beach. The building was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1978 for its association with Giannini, who revolutionized retail banking in the early 20th century.

Hubba Hideout was one of the most famous skateboarding spots. It was located in San Francisco near the Justin Herman Plaza on The Embarcadero. Its central features were two oversized sets of 6 stairs with large concrete ledges on both sides. The spot is part of a pedestrian walkway but was more commonly used by the local skateboarders and vagrants. The city of San Francisco made numerous attempts over the years to ward off skateboarders from the spot, and in January 2011 city workers completely demolished its ledges and stairs.
