Bojnice

Bojnice Castle (Slovak: Bojnický zámok, Hungarian: Bajmóci vár) is a medieval castle in Bojnice, Slovakia. It is a Romanesque castle with some original Gothic and Renaissance elements built in the 12th century. Bojnice Castle is one of the most visited castles in Slovakia, receiving hundreds of thousands of visitors every year and also being a popular filming stage for fantasy and fairy-tale movies. It was owned by Hungarian kings and nobleman from the 12th century until the territory became part of Czechoslovakia after the Treaty of Trianon in 1920 and was acquired by a Czech entrepreneur in 1939.

The Slovak National Zoological Garden (Slovak: Národná zoologická záhrada Bojnice) is a 42-hectare (100-acre) zoo in the town of Bojnice, Slovakia. It is the oldest and most visited of Slovak zoos, being established in 1955. The zoo received more than 400,000 visitors in the year 2018.As of 2022, it presents over 360 different species, with a total of over 2700 specimens. Its primary attractions include the African elephant and Carpathian lynx. It is the only zoo in Slovakia with species such as the agile wallaby, Hamlyn's monkey, African palm civet, red-fan parrot and more.The Bojnice Zoo is managed by the ministry of environment of the Slovak Republic.

The Niké Aréna is an indoor arena located in Prievidza, Slovakia. It is used as a sports arena, and is the current home of the Slovak basketball club BC Prievidza. The arena has place for 3,400 spectators. The arena is named after the Slovak bookmaker Niké.

Prievidza District (Slovak: okres Prievidza, Hungarian: Privigyei járás) is a district in the Trenčín Region of western Slovakia. Until 1918, the district was mostly part of the county of Kingdom of Hungary of Nyitra, apart from a small area in the south west around Handlová which formed part of the county of Bars.

Futbalový štadión Prievidza is a multi-use stadium in Prievidza, Slovakia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FC Baník Prievidza. The stadium holds 7,500 people (2,500 seating).
