La Crosse Central High School is a public high school in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Administered by the School District of La Crosse, it is located on the south side of the city. The school was established in 1907.

Grandad Bluff (also Granddad Bluff) is a bluff on the east side of La Crosse, Wisconsin. It is approximately 590 feet (180 m) above the surrounding land and 1,183 feet (361 m) above sea level. Bliss Road provides access to the bluff. A park shelter in a fenced-off area atop the bluff provides visitors with a view of La Crosse. It contains a panoramic photo of La Crosse taken in 2004, with annotations of La Crosse landmarks. Locations visible from the bluff include the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, the Mississippi River, bluffs in Minnesota, and Interstate 90.

Veterans Memorial Stadium is a stadium in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The original Veterans Memorial Stadium facility was built in 1948. It was demolished in 2008 and a new structure opened in 2009. It seats 10,000, with around 6,200 seats in the main grandstand. The stadium is primarily used for football and track and field. It is the home field of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse Eagles. The 10-lane, 400 meter track complex has hosted several NCAA championships and hosts the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association state high school track and field championships each June. The stadium complex also houses the Veterans Hall of Honor meeting room.

Physical Education Building/La Crosse State Normal School was the original physical education building at the La Crosse Normal School, now the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The building was constructed in 1916 and was named Wittich Hall after one of the school's physical education professors, Walter J. Wittich.It was designed by architects Parkinson & Dockendorff.

The La Crosse State Teachers College Training School Building was a building used to educate teachers at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The building is at 1615 State Street in La Crosse. The present building was built in 1940 and was known was the Campus School.The Campus School continued until 1973, when it closed and was renamed Morris Hall in honor of Thomas Morris, who was instrumental in the establishment of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse.

La Crosse Aquinas Catholic Schools or ACS is a school district in La Crosse, Wisconsin and Onalaska, Wisconsin operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of La Crosse. Previously known as Coulee Catholic Schools, the district changed its name in 2009 to Aquinas Catholic Schools.

Aquinas High School is a Roman Catholic high school located in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The school is part of La Crosse Aquinas Catholic Schools and is operated by the Diocese of La Crosse. In 2008, Aquinas High School was named a national Blue Ribbon School.

St. Rose of Viterbo Convent is the motherhouse of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, an American religious congregation, which is located in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The convent is dedicated to Rose of Viterbo, a 13th-century Franciscan tertiary who was a noted mystic and street preacher in Italy who died while still a teenager.The convent contains three chapels, of which one, Mary of the Angels Chapel, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places of the United States. Another, the Adoration Chapel, is the site of perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, was the site of 141 years of uninterrupted practice of the Sisters from August 1, 1878 to February 2020. The sisters continue to pray in shifts between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Founded in 1890 by the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, Viterbo is home to three colleges with nine schools offering 48 academic programs at the associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels.Viterbo is one of 23 Franciscan universities in the United States, with 2,521 undergraduate and graduate students and over 23,000 alumni. As of 2020, Viterbo's endowment was a record $55.7 million. Viterbo is a member of the NAIA and the North Star Athletic Association; its athletic teams are known as the V-Hawks.
