St John the Evangelist's Church, Kingsley

Kingsley is a civil parish and a village in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It is approximately 5 miles south east of the town of Frodsham. The village is home to two primary schools – Kingsley St John's Church of England Primary School and Kingsley Community Primary School.

Hunter's Wood Nature Reserve is a nature reserve near Kingsley, Cheshire, England, managed by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust.Hunter's Wood is a relatively new piece of woodland, originally planted on what was rough pasture on the southern bank of the River Weaver in 1999. There are small fragments of ancient woodland west, north and east of the reserve, some of them within the Warburton's Wood Nature Reserve, also managed by the Wildlife Trust. Hunter's Wood is intended to form a wildlife corridor linking these fragments, with the hope that specialist plants from the ancient woodland will eventually colonise. To this end, seeds were collected from surrounding areas and, in addition, 250 ash trees were planted.

Warburton's Wood Nature Reserve is a nature reserve near Kingsley, Cheshire, England, managed by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust.The reserve consists of semi-natural woodland either side of a clough, or small valley, containing a tributary of the River Weaver. Together with Well Wood, a similar clough woodland to the east, it forms part of the Warburton's Wood and Well Wood Site of Special Scientific Interest, which covers a larger area of 8.1 hectares (20 acres).Trees include familiar species such as pedunculate oak (Quercus robur), ash (Fraxinus excelsior) and hazel (Corylus avellana), but also small-leaved lime (Tilia cordata) and wild service-tree (Sorbus torminalis), which are uncommon in Cheshire.The Wildlife Trust also owns the adjacent Hunter's Wood Nature Reserve, on which trees have been planted to act as a wildlife corridor, and with the hope that specialist plants from the ancient woodland will eventually colonise.

Bradley hill fort is an Iron Age hill fort. Hill forts were fortified hill-tops, used as settlements or temporary refuges, constructed across Britain during the Iron Age. It is the smallest of the seven hill forts in the county of Cheshire in northern England. It is protected as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

Kingsley Castle, also known as Castle Cob, a medieval motte near Kingsley, Cheshire, England. (grid reference SJ53387341) It is listed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument. The motte is a cone shaped mound, 2.8 metres (9.2 ft) high; it has a diameter of 23 metres (75 ft) at the base and tapers to 6 metres (20 ft) at the top. It is artificial and made from black soil.Historians used to think that the motte was a large barrow. The stone steps and concrete foundations of a summerhouse not contemporary with the castle are excluded from the protection of the scheduling. There have been limited excavations on the site by antiquarians.

Hatchmere is a small mere and nature reserve in Delamere Forest, southeast of Frodsham, Cheshire, England. It is also the name of a hamlet near the village of Norley.

St John the Evangelist's Church stands to the west of the village of Norley, Cheshire, England. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Chester and the deanery of Frodsham. Its benefice is combined with those of Christ Church, Crowton, and St John the Evangelist, Kingsley.

Crewood Hall is a country house to the northeast of the village of Kingsley, Cheshire, England. It dates from the 16th century, and has a porch dated 1638. Initially timber-framed, the building was encased in brick and remodelled in the 19th century. It has stone dressings and tiled roofs, and is in two storeys. The house consists of a hall with two cross wings and a two-storey porch at the end of the left wing. The lower storey of the porch is in sandstone and in the upper storey the timber-framing is exposed. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. Associated with the house, and also listed at Grade II, are two farm buildings; stables, and a shippon and barn.

Norley Hall is a country house in the village of Norley, Cheshire, England. It was built in about 1500 on the site of an earlier house for the Hall family, enlarged in 1697 for John Hall, rebuilt in 1782 for William Hall, and enlarged again in about 1845 for Samuel Woodhouse, giving it a Tudor appearance. The architect responsible for this latest enlargement was Alfred Bowyer Clayton. The service wing was extended later in the 19th century, and further additions and alterations were carried out during the 20th century, including the division of the building into two houses. The gardens were designed by Edward Kemp. The house is rendered, and has a sandstone ashlar basement, porch and dressings. The roofs are slated. Its plan is irregular. The main block is in two storeys, plus an attic and a basement. On the entrance front is a projecting central gabled bay. There is a single-storey porch with buttresses, pinnacles, a pierced balustrade, and a Tudor arched doorway. On the left side of the house is an octagonal stair turret surmounted by a bellcote with a conical roof. The service wing also has two storeys. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Crossley Hospital East (founded 1905 as the Crossley Sanatorium) is a former tuberculosis sanatorium situated on the outer edge of Delamere Forest in Cheshire. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Crossley Hospital West, founded in 1905 as the Liverpool Sanatorium, was a tuberculosis sanatorium situated on the outer edge of Delamere Forest in Cheshire. It closed in the 1960s and has since been demolished.

Daresbury was a Mersey flat that is now in a ruinous condition. It lies, partly submerged, in Sutton Lock on River Weaver in Cheshire, England. The lock and its contents are designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
