Warburton's Wood Nature Reserve

Hunter's Wood Nature Reserve is a nature reserve near Kingsley, Cheshire, England, managed by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust.Hunter's Wood is a relatively new piece of woodland, originally planted on what was rough pasture on the southern bank of the River Weaver in 1999. There are small fragments of ancient woodland west, north and east of the reserve, some of them within the Warburton's Wood Nature Reserve, also managed by the Wildlife Trust. Hunter's Wood is intended to form a wildlife corridor linking these fragments, with the hope that specialist plants from the ancient woodland will eventually colonise. To this end, seeds were collected from surrounding areas and, in addition, 250 ash trees were planted.

Kingsley is a civil parish and a village in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It is approximately 5 miles south east of the town of Frodsham. The village is home to two primary schools – Kingsley St John's Church of England Primary School and Kingsley Community Primary School.

Crewood Hall is a country house to the northeast of the village of Kingsley, Cheshire, England. It dates from the 16th century, and has a porch dated 1638. Initially timber-framed, the building was encased in brick and remodelled in the 19th century. It has stone dressings and tiled roofs, and is in two storeys. The house consists of a hall with two cross wings and a two-storey porch at the end of the left wing. The lower storey of the porch is in sandstone and in the upper storey the timber-framing is exposed. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. Associated with the house, and also listed at Grade II, are two farm buildings; stables, and a shippon and barn.

St John the Evangelist's Church is in Hollow Lane, Kingsley, Cheshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Frodsham, the archdeaconry of Chester, and the diocese of Chester. Its benefice is united with those of Christ Church, Crowton, and St John the Evangelist, Norley. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. It was a Commissioners' church, having received a grant towards its construction from the Church Building Commission.

Aston (or Aston-by-Sutton) is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 111, reducing slightly to 106 at the 2011 census. The village is just outside the Runcorn urban area. St Peter's Church is a Grade I listed building.Aston was the seat of the Aston baronets of the County of Chester (baronetcy created 1628, extinct 1815).

It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Chester and the deanery of Great Budworth. It is one of three parish churches in the parish of Aston-by-Sutton, Little Leigh and Lower Whitley. The other two being St Michael and All Angels, Little Leigh and St Luke, Lower Whitley. The three were previously individual parishes united in a benefice along with St Mark, Antrobus. The listing describes it as "a most pleasing late 17th to early 18th-century church, inside and out". The church stands in a relatively isolated position in the south side of Aston Lane in the hamlet.

Bradley hill fort is an Iron Age hill fort. Hill forts were fortified hill-tops, used as settlements or temporary refuges, constructed across Britain during the Iron Age. It is the smallest of the seven hill forts in the county of Cheshire in northern England. It is protected as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

Daresbury was a Mersey flat that is now in a ruinous condition. It lies, partly submerged, in Sutton Lock on River Weaver in Cheshire, England. The lock and its contents are designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

Sutton Hall is a historic farmhouse, south of the village of Sutton Weaver in Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building.The hall dates from the late 15th or early 16th century, and it was extended in the late 17th and early 19th century. It is built in brown brick in two storeys with attics. Internally there are two superimposed great halls which are a "feature of unique interest". Figueirdo and Treuherz consider that it is "one of the most important and least known late medieval timber-framed houses in Cheshire".The associated barn and shippon, which date from the late 17th century, are listed at Grade II. Also listed at Grade II is a circular feeding trough in the farmyard dating from the 19th century, which is made from a single stone and measures almost 2 metres across and 1 metre high. The hall is now a farmhouse, and the barn has been converted for residential use.

It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Chester and the deanery of Frodsham. Its benefice is combined with those of Christ Church, Crowton, and St John the Evangelist, Kingsley.

Norley Hall is a country house in the village of Norley, Cheshire, England. It was built in about 1500 on the site of an earlier house for the Hall family, enlarged in 1697 for John Hall, rebuilt in 1782 for William Hall, and enlarged again in about 1845 for Samuel Woodhouse, giving it a Tudor appearance. The architect responsible for this latest enlargement was Alfred Bowyer Clayton. The service wing was extended later in the 19th century, and further additions and alterations were carried out during the 20th century, including the division of the building into two houses. The gardens were designed by Edward Kemp. The house is rendered, and has a sandstone ashlar basement, porch and dressings. The roofs are slated. Its plan is irregular. The main block is in two storeys, plus an attic and a basement. On the entrance front is a projecting central gabled bay. There is a single-storey porch with buttresses, pinnacles, a pierced balustrade, and a Tudor arched doorway. On the left side of the house is an octagonal stair turret surmounted by a bellcote with a conical roof. The service wing also has two storeys. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Sutton Weaver is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester, in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It is 2 miles (3.2 km) northeast of Frodsham and 2.5 miles (4 km) south of Runcorn. According to the United Kingdom Census 2011, it had a population of 495 and a total land area of 3,198 sq metres (m2) (thousands). The village has 206 Households with some of the main industries of the village being Wholesale and Retail Trade, Human Health and Social Work Activities and Manufacturing; These three sectors alone account for 36.5% of Occupational Share.
