Bouc-Bel-Air

The Jardins d'Albertas are private, 18th-century gardens à la française in the town of Bouc-Bel-Air in the Bouches-du-Rhône department of France. They are classified by the French Ministry of Culture as one of the Remarkable Gardens of France.

Luynes (French: [lɥin]) is a village of the Bouches-du-Rhône département in southern France. It is located 4 km south of Aix-en-Provence at the intersection of the D7 and N8 roads. The village is perhaps best known for its prison and for its three international schools. The Nécropole Nationale de Luynes is also located nearby. Luynes is bordered by the Massif du Montaiguet, which expands to Gardanne and Aix en Provence. It comprises chalky plateaux bordered by cliffs, forests of pines and oaks, and crops areas. In 1979 and 2005 the area was devastated by bush fires. Following these incidents, garrigue is now covering a wide area.

Les Milles is a village, part of the commune of Aix-en-Provence, in southern France. On the territory of the village Camp des Milles was opened in September 1939 in a former tile factory. Originally a French internment camp to detain undesirable aliens, it was later used as a transit camp for Jews to be deported to extermination camps, mainly Auschwitz.

The Camp des Milles [kɑ̃ de mil] was a French internment camp, opened in September 1939, in a former tile factory near the village of Les Milles, part of the commune of Aix-en-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône). In October 2015, the site was chosen by UNESCO as the headquarters for its new Chair of Education for Citizenship, Human Sciences and Shared Memories.

Aix-en-Provence Aerodrome (French: Aérodrome d'Aix-en-Provence) (ICAO: LFMA), also known as Aix les Milles Airport (Aéroport Aix les Milles), is an airport serving Aix-en-Provence, a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France. It is located 6 km (3.2 NM) west-southwest of Aix-en-Provence, in the village of Les Milles.It formerly served as a military air base, known as Base Aerienne 114 d'Aix Les Milles. A campus of the École nationale de l'aviation civile (French civil aviation university) is also located at the aerodrome.
