Menagerie Carousel, also known as the Burlington Carousel, is a historic carousel located at Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina. It was built in 1905, and is a hand-carved, wooden carousel manufactured by the Dentzel Carousel Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The carousel features 46 animals include one lion, one tiger, one giraffe, one reindeer, four pigs, four rabbits, four ostriches, four cats and 26 horses. The carousel also has two chariots. Housing the carousel is a permanent shelter built in the summer of 1948.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Stagg House, also known as the Dr. Bradley House, is a historic home located at Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina. It was built between 1857 and 1859, and is a two-story, T-shaped, frame dwelling. Connected to the main block are numerous one-story wings that appear to date to the late-19th century. It has a large wraparound porch and features a rectangular projecting front bay with tall and narrow windows. It is one of only a few antebellum houses surviving in Burlington.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

It encompasses 108 contributing buildings in a primarily residential section of Burlington. Most of the buildings are houses, one to two stories high, built between the 1890s and the 1940s in late Victorian, Queen Anne, American Craftsman, and Colonial Revival styles of frame or brick construction.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The former US Post Office, also known as the US Post Office/Federal Building, is an historic red brick post office building located at 430 South Spring Street in downtown Burlington, North Carolina. Built in 1936, it was designed in a mixture of the Classical Revival and Moderne or Art Deco styles by architect R. Stanley Brown who worked under Louis A. Simon, head of the Office of the Supervising Architect.In the building's lobby are two wall murals by WPA artist Arthur L. Bairnsfather, which commemorate Burlington's history as a textile manufacturing center.Since November 3, 1987, the building has been owned by Roche Biomedical Laboratories, Inc., a subsidiary of Hoffmann-La Roche, Inc.On September 23, 1988, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It is located in the Downtown Burlington Historic District.

It is a seven-story, brick sheathed building in the Classical Revival style. It features terra cotta ornamentation, a brick parapet, and stuccoed panels at the uppermost floor.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It is located in the Downtown Burlington Historic District.

The church was built in 1920, and is a Neoclassical Revival style church building with an Akron Plan interior. The building features two main temple facades and a dome. The front facade is sheathed in white enamelled terra cotta tile. It housed a branch of Efird's Department Store based in Albemarle, North Carolina.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It is located in the Downtown Burlington Historic District.

Zack's Hot Dogs is a local restaurant in Burlington, North Carolina. It was opened by Zack Touloupas in 1928 and was originally named Alamance Hot Wienie Lunch. The menu began as a blue plate special, but over the years has been changed to focus on hotdogs and hamburgers. The menu has also been expanded to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Zack's used to be open seven days a week, but is now closed on Sundays.
