May Hosiery Mills Knitting Mill is a historic building that was built as an early 20th-century hosiery knitting mill in Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina. Built in 1928, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The former US Post Office, also known as the US Post Office/Federal Building, is an historic red brick post office building located at 430 South Spring Street in downtown Burlington, North Carolina. Built in 1936, it was designed in a mixture of the Classical Revival and Moderne or Art Deco styles by architect R. Stanley Brown who worked under Louis A. Simon, head of the Office of the Supervising Architect.In the building's lobby are two wall murals by WPA artist Arthur L. Bairnsfather, which commemorate Burlington's history as a textile manufacturing center.Since November 3, 1987, the building has been owned by Roche Biomedical Laboratories, Inc., a subsidiary of Hoffmann-La Roche, Inc.On September 23, 1988, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It is located in the Downtown Burlington Historic District.

First Christian Church of Burlington is a historic church located at 415 S. Church Street in Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina. The church was built in 1920, and is a Neoclassical Revival style church building with an Akron Plan interior. The building features two main temple facades and a dome. A three-story educational building was constructed in 1953.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Zack's Hot Dogs is a local restaurant in Burlington, North Carolina. It was opened by Zack Touloupas in 1928 and was originally named Alamance Hot Wienie Lunch. The menu began as a blue plate special, but over the years has been changed to focus on hotdogs and hamburgers. The menu has also been expanded to breakfast, lunch and dinner. It features rich granite ornamentation at the bottom and top pairs of stories.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It is located in the Downtown Burlington Historic District.

Southern Railway Passenger Station is a historic train station located at Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina. It was built in 1892 by the North Carolina Railroad, and is a rectangular, one story red brick and wood building in a Victorian Tudor style. It features a hipped roof with flared eaves, decorative brackets, and an octagonal tower and two triangular dormers.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is located in the Downtown Burlington Historic District. Current passenger trains stop at a modern station nearby.
