Stafford Road railway station served the city of Wolverhampton, England from 1850 to 1852 on the Wolverhampton-Shrewsbury line. The station opened in October 1850 by the Shrewsbury and Birmingham Railway. The station was situated to the west of Stafford Road at the present site of Stafford Road Junction. The station was served by six trains on Mondays to Saturdays with two on Sundays in both directions between Wolverhampton Temporary and Shrewsbury. It was a short distance from Wolverhampton station and so Stafford Road proved to be unprofitable and closed completely in June or July 1852.There is no evidence of the station's existence today.

Dunstall Park railway station was a station north of Wolverhampton Low Level railway station on the Great Western Railway's London Paddington to Birkenhead via Birmingham Snow Hill line. The station opened on 1 December 1896. Stafford Road engine shed and works and Oxley shed were nearby. It saw high traffic due to the nearby Wolverhampton Racecourse but closed in 1968 when services between Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury were switched to Wolverhampton High Level. It was the first stop north from the Low Level station, and was served by local trains towards Shrewsbury, as well as those on the Wombourne Branch Line to Stourbridge. The station site has since been demolished although freight and passenger trains still pass through the site. There is a bricked up pedestrian entrance and ramp to the former station. Immediately south of the station site is the short connecting line to the Stafford-Wolverhampton line. This freight-only line was mostly used by coal trains to Ironbridge Power Station in recent years.

Bushbury railway station was a railway station opened by the London and North Western Railway on 2 August 1852. It served the Bushbury area of Wolverhampton, and near to the junction of Showell Road and Bushbury Lane. The station was located within the Bushbury Junction complex, and was between the Grand Junction line to Wednesfield Heath and the later Stour Valley Line to Wolverhampton High Level; and just to the north of the connecting line to Wolverhampton Low Level. The station closed in 1912.

The Goodyear chimney was a landmark on the Goodyear factory on Stafford Road, Wolverhampton, England. It was 200 feet (60 m) high and weighed 3,000 long tons (3,000 t). Work started on building the chimney in October 1927, with the mayor of Wolverhampton laying the first brick. In 2008 the factory and chimney were demolished. An Oxley primary school pupil and a former Goodyear worker had the privilege of pressing the firing button.

Oxley Traction and Rolling Stock Maintenance Depot is a railway depot located in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, operated by Alstom to maintain Avanti West Coast's British Rail Class 390 Pendolino stock for the West Coast Main Line.

It is situated in the north of the city, bordering South Staffordshire and the Bushbury North, Bushbury South and Low Hill, St Peter's and Tettenhall Regis wards. Molineux Stadium ( MOL-i-new) is a football stadium situated in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England, has been the home ground of Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers since 1889. The first stadium built for use by a Football League club, it was one of the first British grounds to have floodlights installed and hosted some of the earliest European club games in the 1950s. At the time of its multi-million pound renovation in the early 1990s, Molineux was one of the biggest and most modern stadia in England, though it has since been eclipsed by other ground developments. The stadium has hosted England internationals and, more recently, England under-21 internationals, as well as the first UEFA Cup Final in 1972. Molineux is a 31,750 all-seater stadium, but it consistently attracted much greater attendances when it was mostly terracing. The record attendance is 61,315. Plans were announced in 2010 for a £40 million redevelopment programme to rebuild and link three sides of the stadium to increase capacity to 38,000 seats. The first stage of this project, the Stan Cullis Stand, was completed in 2012. The next two stages were postponed because the club prioritised funds for development of the youth academy. There are provisional plans for a longer term redevelopment of every stand that could create a 50,000 capacity.

Wolverhampton railway works was in the city of Wolverhampton in the county of Staffordshire, England. It was almost due north of the city centre, and is commemorated with a small display of level crossing gates and a plaque. Known as the Stafford Road Works, it was opened by the Shrewsbury and Birmingham Railway in 1849 to maintain bought-in locomotives.

It is situated in the northeast of the city, bordering South Staffordshire and the Wednesfield North, Heath Town, Bushbury South and Low Hill and Bushbury North wards. It forms part of the Wolverhampton North East constituency. Fallings Park ward covers over 5,000 properties in the following areas: Longknowle, Newbolds, Scotlands, Underhill, Willows. The population of the Wolverhampton Ward taken at the 2011 census was 12,410.A 50-house model housing exhibition was erected by Wolverhampton council at Fallings Park in 1908, but the planned housing estate was never completed due to the outbreak of World War I in 1914.
