Christ Church, Wolverhampton is a former parish church in the Church of England in Wolverhampton

Dunstall Park railway station was a station north of Wolverhampton Low Level railway station on the Great Western Railway's London Paddington to Birkenhead via Birmingham Snow Hill line. The station opened on 1 December 1896. Stafford Road engine shed and works and Oxley shed were nearby. It saw high traffic due to the nearby Wolverhampton Racecourse but closed in 1968 when services between Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury were switched to Wolverhampton High Level. It was the first stop north from the Low Level station, and was served by local trains towards Shrewsbury, as well as those on the Wombourne Branch Line to Stourbridge. The station site has since been demolished although freight and passenger trains still pass through the site. There is a bricked up pedestrian entrance and ramp to the former station. Immediately south of the station site is the short connecting line to the Stafford-Wolverhampton line. This freight-only line was mostly used by coal trains to Ironbridge Power Station in recent years.

Stafford Road railway station served the city of Wolverhampton, England from 1850 to 1852 on the Wolverhampton-Shrewsbury line. The station opened in October 1850 by the Shrewsbury and Birmingham Railway. The station was situated to the west of Stafford Road at the present site of Stafford Road Junction. The station was served by six trains on Mondays to Saturdays with two on Sundays in both directions between Wolverhampton Temporary and Shrewsbury. It was a short distance from Wolverhampton station and so Stafford Road proved to be unprofitable and closed completely in June or July 1852.There is no evidence of the station's existence today.

Gorsebrook is an historic area of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, located alongside the Stafford Road between the areas of Dunstall, Oxley and Bushbury.

Molineux Stadium ( MOL-i-new) is a football stadium situated in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England, has been the home ground of Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers since 1889. The first stadium built for use by a Football League club, it was one of the first British grounds to have floodlights installed and hosted some of the earliest European club games in the 1950s. At the time of its multi-million pound renovation in the early 1990s, Molineux was one of the biggest and most modern stadia in England, though it has since been eclipsed by other ground developments. The stadium has hosted England internationals and, more recently, England under-21 internationals, as well as the first UEFA Cup Final in 1972. Molineux is a 31,750 all-seater stadium, but it consistently attracted much greater attendances when it was mostly terracing. The record attendance is 61,315. Plans were announced in 2010 for a £40 million redevelopment programme to rebuild and link three sides of the stadium to increase capacity to 38,000 seats. The first stage of this project, the Stan Cullis Stand, was completed in 2012. The next two stages were postponed because the club prioritised funds for development of the youth academy. There are provisional plans for a longer term redevelopment of every stand that could create a 50,000 capacity.

Wolverhampton railway works was in the city of Wolverhampton in the county of Staffordshire, England. It was almost due north of the city centre, and is commemorated with a small display of level crossing gates and a plaque. Known as the Stafford Road Works, it was opened by the Shrewsbury and Birmingham Railway in 1849 to maintain bought-in locomotives.

The Molineux Hotel in Wolverhampton is an 18th-century former mansion house known as Molineux House, which later served as a hotel and currently, following restoration serves as a local authority facility. It is a Grade II* listed building. John Molyneux (born 1685), a great-grandson of Sir John Molyneux of Teversal Manor, near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire (see Molyneux Baronets) settled in Wolverhampton in about 1700. His son Benjamin Molyneux (later known as Molineux), a wealthy ironfounder and banker, built a new three storeyed five bayed mansion on the then outskirts of the town in about 1720. George Molineux, who resided at Molineux House, was High Sheriff of Staffordshire in 1793. An additional Georgian style south wing was added towards the end of the 18th century, possibly by George Molineux, and there were further alterations and extensions including a belfry turret in the 19th century. The Molineux family sold the property in about 1860 and the new owner created a public pleasure park on the grounds. In about 1870 the old house was converted for use as a hotel. In 1889 the pleasure grounds were closed and the park was leased out to Wolverhampton Wanderers FC. The hotel was closed down in 1979 and for many years the building stood empty and neglected. Various plans for redevelopment of the site failed and in 2003 the building was gutted by fire. In 2005, with the support of a grant from English Heritage, major restoration began to convert the property into a facility to house the City of Wolverhampton Archives. It finally opened to users on 10 March 2009; the service had previously operated from part of the building on Snow Hill previously occupied by Rackhams department store.

Wolverhampton City Archives service is located in the centre of the City of Wolverhampton, England. It is part of the Arts and Heritage Division of the Adult and Community Services Directorate of Wolverhampton City Council. The Archives are based in the former Molineux Hotel building, built in the mid eighteenth century and restored since 2003 thanks to a Heritage Lottery fund grant. The Archives office collects, preserves and makes accessible records relating to the history of Wolverhampton and its residents.

St Peter and St Paul Church is a Roman Catholic Parish church in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. It was built from 1826 to 1828, with extensions being built in 1901 and 1928. It was designed by Joseph Ireland and the architect for the extension in 1901 was Edward Goldie. It is built as part of Giffard House, which is now a presbytery for the church. It is situated on Paternoster Row, between Wolverhampton City Council and the Ring Road St Peters. Both the church and Giffard House are a Grade II* listed building.

The Arena Theatre is situated on Wulfruna Street in Wolverhampton and is part of the University of Wolverhampton's city campus. The venue's main auditorium seats 150 people and is used for both professional touring shows and for local community groups.

The University of Wolverhampton is a public university located on four campuses across the West Midlands, Shropshire and Staffordshire in England. The roots of the university lie in the Wolverhampton Tradesmen's and Mechanics' Institute founded in 1827 and the 19th-century growth of the Wolverhampton Free Library (1870), which developed technical, scientific, commercial and general classes. This merged in 1969 with the Municipal School of Art, originally founded in 1851, to form the Wolverhampton Polytechnic. The university has four faculties comprising eighteen schools and institutes. It has 18,875 students and currently offers over 380 undergraduate and postgraduate courses.The city campus is located in Wolverhampton city centre, with a second campus at Walsall and a third in Telford. There is an additional fourth campus in Wolverhampton at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park.

St Peter's is a ward of Wolverhampton City Council, West Midlands. It has two parts: the city centre (i.e. the area inside the city's Ring Road), and the inner-city areas immediately to the north and north-west, including Dunstall Hill and part of Whitmore Reans. It is bordered by the wards of Bushbury South and Low Hill, Heath Town, East Park, Ettingshall, Blakenhall, Graiseley, Park, Tettenhall Regis and Oxley. It forms part of the Wolverhampton South West constituency. The city centre includes the main shopping centres: the Mander Centre (named after the Mander family whose paint factory once stood on the site) and Wulfrun Centre), the Civic Centre (the headquarters of the city council), the main campus of the University of Wolverhampton and the terminus of the West Midlands Metro. St Peter's Church is in that part of the ward: it is the principal Anglican church in the city, and gives the ward its name. The rest of the ward includes the Molineux Stadium (home of Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C.), further parts of the University, and Dunstall Park (the city's horse racing course).
