Pevensey Road is a 10.2 hectare Local Nature Reserve in Hanworth in the London Borough of Hounslow. It is also part of the Crane Corridor Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation. It is owned and managed by Hounslow Council.The site surrounds the South West Middlesex Crematorium on three sides. There are entrances to the main area on Pevensey Road and Hounslow Road. Another entrance on Hounslow Road, north of the crematorium, leads to an area separated from the rest of the site by impenetrable scrub; this also leads to a footpath along the River Crane. There are areas of meadow, woodlands and wetlands.Since 2013 The Conservation Volunteers have been helping to manage Pevensey Road Nature Reserve for the benefit of wildlife. The organisation runs weekly Green Gym sessions which involve local people carrying out practical management of the site. In 2019 a new wooden bridge was erected over the river Crane connecting Pevensey Road Nature Reserve to Little Park.

Hounslow Heath is a local nature reserve in the London Borough of Hounslow and at a point borders Richmond upon Thames. The public open space, which covers 200 acres (80 ha), is all that remains of the historic Hounslow Heath which covered more than 4,000 acres (1,600 ha). The present day area is bounded by A315 Staines Road, A3063 Wellington Road South, A314 Hanworth Road, and the River Crane.

On 16 June 1980, Patricia "Patsy" Morris, a fourteen-year old schoolgirl from Feltham, London, was murdered by strangulation. She disappeared after leaving her school during her lunch break, and was found dead in undergrowth on Hounslow Heath near her home two days later. Despite repeated appeals for information by police, her murder remains unsolved. The murder was brought to public attention again in 2008, when it was discovered that she had been a childhood girlfriend of west London serial killer Levi Bellfield. Police investigated links between her murder and Bellfield, but he was never formally charged over her death.

Free Grace Baptist Church, Twickenham is a church that meets in a former Salvation Army hall at Powdermill Lane, Twickenham, TW2 6EJ in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It was founded in 1965 and is a member of the Association of Grace Baptist Churches (South East).

Hounslow Heath Aerodrome was a grass airfield, operational 1914–1920. It was in the London borough of Hounslow, and hosted the British Empire's first scheduled daily international commercial flights, in 1919. The site today includes the main remaining part of Hounslow Heath. The last commercial flights took place in 1920, after which services moved to Croydon Airport. Hounslow Heath Aerodrome is not to be confused with Great West Aerodrome, which opened nearby in 1929, and which is now Heathrow Airport.

Hounslow Heath Golf Centre was a 117 acres (47 ha) public golf course and centre which comprised an 18-hole course located on Hounslow Heath in Feltham in the London Borough of Hounslow, west London. It was home to resident Hounslow Heath Golf Club.

Springwest Academy, formerly Feltham Community College, is a Secondary school in Feltham in the London Borough of Hounslow.

Crane Park Island is a Local Nature Reserve in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It is also part of The Crane Corridor Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation. The site is an island in the River Crane, which is owned by Richmond upon Thames London Borough Council and managed by the London Wildlife Trust. The (only) entrance is next to the Shot Tower in Crane Park.

London Air Park, also known as Hanworth Air Park, was a grass airfield in the grounds of Hanworth Park House, operational 1917–1919 and 1929–1947. It was on the southeastern edge of Feltham, now part of the London Borough of Hounslow. In the 1930s, it was best known as a centre for private flying, society events, visits by the Graf Zeppelin airship, and for aircraft manufacture by the Whitehead Aircraft Company during World War I and General Aircraft Limited (GAL) 1934–1949; in total over 1,650 aircraft were built here.

The Heathland School is an 11–18 co-educational community comprehensive school located in the London Borough of Hounslow. As a comprehensive school, Heathland School provides a broad general education for girls and boys.

Borough Cemetery is a cemetery in Powder Mill Lane, Heathfield in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, though owned and operated by neighbouring Hounslow Council. It was established in 1942 in what was then the Municipal Borough of Heston and Isleworth and was originally called Heston and Isleworth Cemetery.A 2011 audit of London Burial Provision reported that Borough Cemetery had 8.9 ha of reserved burial land. However, more recent documents indicate that it has 1.2 ha of reserved burial land.

Crane Park is a 30 hectare public park next to the River Crane in western Twickenham. The park north of the river is in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, and the south in the London Borough of Hounslow. It is part of The Crane Corridor Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation, and includes two Local Nature Reserves, Crane Park Island and Pevensey Road.
