Hounslow Heath Aerodrome

On 16 June 1980, Patricia "Patsy" Morris, a fourteen-year old schoolgirl from Feltham, London, was murdered by strangulation. She disappeared after leaving her school during her lunch break, and was found dead in undergrowth on Hounslow Heath near her home two days later. Despite repeated appeals for information by police, her murder remains unsolved. The murder was brought to public attention again in 2008, when it was discovered that she had been a childhood girlfriend of west London serial killer Levi Bellfield. Police investigated links between her murder and Bellfield, but he was never formally charged over her death.

Hounslow West is an area of the London Borough of Hounslow, United Kingdom. It is part of the western residential area of Hounslow but is its own separate area. The area came about with the arrival of the District Railway and then the Piccadilly Line with the opening of what is now Hounslow West tube station and the remodeling of Hounslow Barracks The area is bounded by the River Crane to the west, Cranford and the A30 road to the north and north-west, Hounslow to the east and south-east and Hounslow Heath to the south. Features of the area include Beaversfield Park, Hounslows Heath, Beavers Primary School, St Pauls Church and Hounslow Bowls Club.

Hounslow Heath is a local nature reserve in the London Borough of Hounslow and at a point borders Richmond upon Thames. The public open space, which covers 200 acres (80 ha), is all that remains of the historic Hounslow Heath which covered more than 4,000 acres (1,600 ha). The present day area is bounded by A315 Staines Road, A3063 Wellington Road South, A314 Hanworth Road, and the River Crane.

Hounslow Heath Golf Centre was a 117 acres (47 ha) public golf course and centre which comprised an 18-hole course located on Hounslow Heath in Feltham in the London Borough of Hounslow, west London. It was home to resident Hounslow Heath Golf Club.

Cavalry Barracks is a former British Army installation located north of Hounslow Heath in Hounslow, west London. Hounslow was one of 40 new barracks established around the country in the wake of the French Revolution, to guard against the dual threats of foreign invasion and domestic sedition. The barracks later became a busy depot for the London military district. The barracks have been described by Historic England as 'one of the most significant and complete barracks in the country'; as of June 2021 the site is scheduled to be developed as a sustainable living project by Hounslow Council.

Beavers Lane Camp, Hounslow, London is a former camp of the British Army; it was originally built as an extension to the Cavalry Barracks, Hounslow and was also known as I.T. (Infantry Training) Centre, Hounslow.

Feltham marshalling yard, also known as Feltham hump yard, was a large railway marshalling yard designed for the concentration of freight traffic to and from South West London, and for transfer to other marshalling yards in London. It was built on the Waterloo to Reading Line. It opened in 1918 and was closed by British Railways on 6 January 1969.Part of the site is now being rebuilt to stable Class 701 electric multiple unit trains for South Western Railway (SWR).

Hounslow West is a London Underground station in locality of Hounslow West in Hounslow within the London Borough of Hounslow, West London. The station is on the Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 branch of the Piccadilly line, between Hatton Cross and Hounslow Central stations and is in Travelcard Zone 5. The station is located on Bath Road, close to the Great West Road (A4). The station has an island platform, with step-free access via a stairlift for manual wheelchair users only. Opened as Hounslow Barracks in 1884, it was initially served by the District Railway (now part of the District line). The Piccadilly line was extended here in 1933, and District line services were fully withdrawn in 1964. The station building was rebuilt to a design by Charles Holden in 1931. The line was extended again in phases to Heathrow Airport in the 1970s, which resulted in the station's platforms being relocated.

Pevensey Road is a 10.2 hectare Local Nature Reserve in Hanworth in the London Borough of Hounslow. It is also part of the Crane Corridor Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation. It is owned and managed by Hounslow Council.The site surrounds the South West Middlesex Crematorium on three sides. There are entrances to the main area on Pevensey Road and Hounslow Road. Another entrance on Hounslow Road, north of the crematorium, leads to an area separated from the rest of the site by impenetrable scrub; this also leads to a footpath along the River Crane. There are areas of meadow, woodlands and wetlands.Since 2013 The Conservation Volunteers have been helping to manage Pevensey Road Nature Reserve for the benefit of wildlife. The organisation runs weekly Green Gym sessions which involve local people carrying out practical management of the site. In 2019 a new wooden bridge was erected over the river Crane connecting Pevensey Road Nature Reserve to Little Park.

Hounslow ( HOWNZ-loh) is a large suburban district of West London, England, 10+3⁄4 miles (17.5 kilometres) west-southwest of Charing Cross. It is the administrative centre of the London Borough of Hounslow, and is identified in the London Plan as one of the 12 metropolitan centres in Greater London. It is bounded by Isleworth to the east, Twickenham to its south, Feltham to its west and Southall to its north. Hounslow includes the districts of Hounslow West, Heston, Cranford and Heathrow. Although most of the district lay within the London Borough of Hounslow, some parts fall within the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and the London Borough of Hillingdon including Heathrow Airport. Most of Hounslow, including its Town Centre, the area south of the railway station and the localities of Lampton and Spring Grove, falls under the TW3 postcode. The TW4 postcode is made up of Hounslow West and parts of Cranford, whilst the TW5 postcode includes Heston and Cranford. Heathrow Airport and parts of Hatton comprise the TW6 postcode.

Free Grace Baptist Church, Twickenham is a church that meets in a former Salvation Army hall at Powdermill Lane, Twickenham, TW2 6EJ in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It was founded in 1965 and is a member of the Association of Grace Baptist Churches (South East).
