Les Abattoirs, Musée – Frac Occitanie Toulouse, combines a museum of modern and contemporary art (Musée) and a regional collection of contemporary art (Frac). It is located in the French Occitanie region, in the city of Toulouse. Les Abattoirs keep approximately 3,880 works and objects of all origins. Works of modern and contemporary art range for the oldest from 1934 (Alberto Magnelli) to 2020, for the most recent acquisitions (Teresa Margolles).

The Hôpital de La Grave is a hospital situated in the Saint-Cyprien quartier of Toulouse in Southwest France on the left bank of the Garonne. Taking up six hectares (three times the size of the Hôtel-Dieu), La Grave was the second largest hospital establishment and primary maternal care center of Toulouse during much of the 20th century until the CHU of Rangueil was built. It is named for the sandy bank (Standard French: grève) of the Garonne where it was built.

Saint-Nicolas Church is located in Saint Cyprien neighbourhood on the west side of the Garonne River, just outside the old city walls of Toulouse.

The Society of Moulins du Bazacle, also known as Bazacle Company is a French watermill system founded in Toulouse in the 12th century by the citizens of the city to share the operation of a series of mills installed on the site of the Bazacle. The mills were used to process wheat harvested from the Toulouse Plain into flour. It was the first recorded European joint-stock company.

The Bazacle is a structure in and on the banks of the River Garonne in the French city of Toulouse. It originated as a ford across the river Garonne, used from the 12th century onwards. The name bazacle comes from the Latin word vadaculum, meaning "little ford". The first bridge across the Garonne was built here, where the water was shallowest. In 1190, with the permission of comte Raymond V of Toulouse, a sort of dam, the chaussée, and adjacent mills were built. These mills were cited by Rabelais in the sixteenth century as being the most powerful in the world. In about 1250, the original undertaking was underwritten by a group of local seigneurs, who shared the profits according to the number of shares they possessed. The shares of this society (the Société des Moulins du Bazacle, or Bazacle Milling Company) came to be traded on the open market in Toulouse and their value fluctuated according to the profitability of the mills. The company survived until 1946 when it was nationalized and is sometimes claimed as the earliest example of a Joint-stock company.A hydroelectric power station was built in 1890 on the same spot to supply Toulouse with electricity. In 1946, Électricité de France bought the plant. Both old and modern turbines can be viewed in working state to this day. There is a fish ladder in the river, allowing fish to swim through.

The industrial economics institute' (French: Institut d'Économie Industrielle) (IDEI) is a research center in economics located in Toulouse (France) within the Toulouse 1 University Capitole. It was founded in 1990 by Jean-Jacques Laffont. The IDEI serves a dual purpose: allowing the University of Toulouse I to be competitive at an international level; providing administrations and companies with an interface between their activities and economic research. IDEI tackles both theoretical and applied economic problems and supplies state-of-the-art tools developed by economic research to decision-makers in eight research areas: Industrial Organization, Regulation and Competition Policy Innovation and Intellectual Property Insurance, Banking and Finance Energy, Environment, Agriculture Macroeconomics, Growth and International Economics Economics of Developing Countries and in Transition Countries Methodology: Econometrics, Statistics and Economic Theory Public Economics, Health, Labour and EducationThe department is particularly well known for its work in industrial organization and in the economics of information. Among the department's prominent faculty are the economists Jean Tirole and Jacques Crémer. The IDEI also hosts the MPSE (Midi Pyrénées Sciences Economiques) graduate school of economics that recruits the ablest students from all countries in the European Union and further afield.

Toulouse School of Economics (TSE; French: École d'économie de Toulouse) is a school of economics, affiliated with Toulouse 1 Capitole University, a constituent college of the Federal University of Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées. It is located in the city of Toulouse, France. The Toulouse School of Economics offers both undergraduate degrees (licence) and master's degrees, in a variety of fields related but not limited to economics such as data science, statistics and mathematical economics. TSE also has a PhD program with two years of coursework, in the style of American PhD programs in economics. Many of the faculty members are fellows of the Econometric Society and the European Economic Association. TSE scholars have also received numerous national and international awards, including the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences and the CNRS Gold Medal, the highest scientific honor in France (both Jean Tirole in 2007 and 2014), and the Yrjö Jahnsson Award, granted every two years to the best European economist under 45 (Jean-Jacques Laffont and Jean Tirole in 2003, Gilles Saint-Paul in 2007). TSE is consistently ranked among the very best in Europe in rankings based on quality-weighted publications. According to RePEc, TSE was ranked the 8th most productive research department of economics in the world and the 2nd in Europe by February 2023.Classes are taught in both French and English. Currently, the school has around 2400 students from over 90 nationalities and 150 full faculty members. In 2014, the then chairman Professor Jean Tirole was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics Sciences for his analysis of market power and regulation. In 2007, the French government and the Academy of Sciences chose TSE as one of 13 "Réseaux Thématiques de Recherche Avancée" (RTRA) across all fields, enabling the creation of a private foundation, the Jean-Jacques Laffont Foundation, which serves to foster world class research in economics and related social sciences at TSE. Its research department is also affiliated with the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences and the École Polytechnique. TSE researchers have developed strong relationships with economic actors as regulators, corporations and other various institutions. They take an active part in policy-making in France (The French Council of Economic Advisors) as well as for a variety of institutions in Europe (The European Commission) and the rest of the world.

The Centre hospitalier universitaire de Toulouse is a French university hospital center whose administrative center is located at Hôtel-Dieu Saint-Jacques.The Toulouse University Hospital employs more than 3,632 doctors and medical students and more than 10,000 hospital staff and received 230,000 total hospitalizations, 140,000 visits and sessions and more than 640,000 outpatient consultations in 2013.It ranks fourth among French University Hospitals in terms of its level of activity and is ranked the best hospital in France in a ranking established in 2012 by the magazine Le Point and includes more than 60 pathologies.

The Château d'Eau is a nineteenth century water tower, near to the cours Dillon, just next to the Pont-Neuf, in Toulouse, France. It was originally designed as a water tower but it is now a photography gallery. Founded in 1974 by Jean Dieuzaide and directed by Jean-Marc Lacabe since 2001, it's one of the oldest public places dedicated to photography in the world,

The Port de la Daurade (English: Sea Bream) is found on the right bank of the Garonne River in Toulouse. Boats leave from here for travel on the Garonne and the Canal du Midi. The Canal de Brienne is near as is the bazacle.

The Pont Neuf, French for "New Bridge" (a.k.a. Pont de Pierre and Grand Pont), is a bridge from the 16th and 17th centuries in Toulouse, in the South of France. Begun in 1544 and completed in 1632, its construction was made particularly long and difficult by the violent floods of the Garonne and the unstable nature of the subsoil. The architect Jacques Lemercier, who carried out the work at the beginning of the 17th century, made it an innovative bridge for its time.

Founded in 1229, the Toulouse 1 Capitole University (Université Toulouse I Capitole) is one of the three universities of the city of Toulouse, in southwestern France. This university, presided by Hugues Kenfack, focuses on the social sciences (law, political science, economics, administration, etc.).
