Point Park University is a private university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Formerly known as Point Park College, the school name was revised in 2004 to reflect the number of graduate programs being offered.

The Engine Company No. 1 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was located at 344 Boulevard of the Allies in downtown Pittsburgh, and Engine Company No. 30 is located directly behind it, on the other side of the building, at 341 First Avenue. Built around 1900, architect William Y. Brady, the Boulevard of the Allies facade is Beaux Arts and Classical in design, and the First Avenue facade mixes Romanesque and Classical styles. Both were added to the List of City of Pittsburgh historic designations (together, as a single listing) on March 17, 1993.In 2011 the city sold the closed station to Point Park University.

Arrott Building is a skyscraper located at Fourth Avenue and Wood Street in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1902 and was designed by Frederick J. Osterling. The building and several surrounding financial buildings are part of the Fourth Avenue Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Arrott Building was added to the list of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmarks in 2000.The building opened in May 2021 as The Industrialist Hotel, part of the Autograph Collection by Marriott.

The Fourth Avenue Historic District is a historic district in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. The district was the center of finance and banks for the city during the decades surrounding the turn of the 20th century. Many ornate structures still exist from that era, including the location of the Pittsburgh Stock Exchange on the corner of Fourth Avenue and Smithfield Street from 1864-1903, the now vacant lot of its location at 229 Fourth Avenue from 1903 to 1962 and the still standing structure of the Exchange from 1962 until it closed in 1974. It is roughly bounded by Smithfield Street, Third Avenue, Market Square Place, and Fifth Avenue. A boundary increase was added on March 20, 2013.

109–115 Wood Street (also known as Hartje Bros. Paper Manufacturing Co. or the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater Building) are two buildings located in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The Investment Building is a 1927 neo-classical skyscraper in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania located at 239 Fourth Avenue and part of the Fourth Avenue Historic District. The original name of the structure was the Insurance Exchange Building.Designed by John M. Donn, a Washington, D.C. architect, the tower is of the same approximate façade dimensions as its 4th Avenue neighbors the Arrott Building and Benedum-Trees Building, both built a generation earlier. Constructed from limestone, and a darker, more textured brick, the tower is noted for simplicity and lightness of form and detailing. The roof corners feature chamfered obelisk-like elements.

Benedum–Trees Building located at 223 Fourth Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was built in 1905. The building was commissioned by Caroline Jones Machesney, the daughter and sole heir of a Pittsburgh banker, making it the first skyscraper in the city ordered by and built for a woman. It was originally called the Machesney Building until 1913, when Machesney sold it for $10 million to two local men who had gotten rich drilling for oil, Joe Trees and Michael Late Benedum. For the next 40 years, the fifteenth floor was home to their offices. The building, designed by Thomas H. Scott, was added to the List of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmarks in 1973. The building is 19 stories tall. Benedum Trees Oil Company was founded in 1904, by Michael Late Benedum and Joe Trees]in Wheeling, Virginia. In 1929 Benedum Trees opened a subsidiary Republic Oil Refining Company in Texas City, Texas.

Tower Two-Sixty, alternatively known as “The Gardens at Market Square” or “The Gardens,” is a Millcraft Investments skyscraper in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. Construction began in 2013 and was substantially completed in 2016. The $107 million, LEED CS Silver-certified tower consists of 18 floors and is located the Market Square and Point Park University sections of Downtown Pittsburgh. The tower includes a 197-room Hilton Garden Inn Hotel and Market Square Garage, 321-car parking complex managed by Alco Parking. It includes 20,000 square feet of street level retail space, 130,000 square feet of Class-A "tower office" floor space and multiple restaurants. Revel + Roost, previously known as Roost Fifty New American Kitchen, is a two-floor restaurant. Roost hosts upscale dining on the second floor, while Revel has an ultra-lounge atmosphere downstairs. Pirata is another restaurant tenant, offering Caribbean-style food and more than 200 rums. Pizzuvio, a fine casual Neapolitan pizzeria with handmade wood-fired ovens, is also located in the tower. Millie’s, a second location Pittsburgh-based small batch ice creamery originating in Shadyside. In 2015, it was announced that commercial real estate company JLL would be the building’s anchor and namesake tenant, and re-identify the building as JLL Center at Tower Two-Sixty. JLL also serves as the building’s property manager. Other tenants in the building include Merrill Lynch, Coury Financial Group, McGuireWoods, and Millcraft itself.Millcraft, JLL, and its partners have received several awards for Tower Two-Sixty including the Urban Land Institute award for Transformative Place, Master Builders’ Association of Western Pennsylvania Award, NAIOP Pittsburgh’s Best Mixed Use Project .

Pittsburgh Playhouse is Point Park University's performing arts center located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It houses three performance spaces and is home to The Rep, Point Park's resident professional theatre company, as well as three student companies—Conservatory Theatre Company, Conservatory Dance Company, and Playhouse Jr. The Conservatory Theatre Company offers five productions each year that are performed by undergraduate students at Point Park; each season consists of a mixture of established plays and musicals, as well as occasional new works.The Conservatory Dance Company offers ballet, modern, and jazz dance productions featuring Point Park undergraduates; these consist of works by established choreographers as well as new pieces choreographed by both students and professionals. The Playhouse Jr. offers children's theatre performed by Point Park undergraduates; it is the second oldest continually running children's theatre in the United States. Playhouse Jr. has also participated in the Pittsburgh New Works Festival. The Rep offers four productions performed by professional actors; the season usually consists of a mixture of established and new plays.The Rep has hosted regional premieres by such playwrights as Amy Hartman, Tammy Ryan, and Edward J. Delaney.The Playhouse moved from its longtime location on Craft Avenue in Oakland into a new complex on Forbes Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh, adjoining Point Park University's campus in 2018. The complex features three public performance spaces; the 560 seat PNC Theatre, the 200 seat Highmark Studio Theatre, and the 99 seat Rauh Theatre.
