Capitol Hill elev. 203m, is a hill in the city of Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, and also is the name of the neighbourhood spanning the summit of the hill. Standing on the north side of Hastings Street and bounded by Willingdon Avenue to the west and Fell Avenue in the east, this neighbourhood is known for its Italian, Portuguese, and Croatian expat communities as well as being a student area associated with the nearby Simon Fraser University.

The Maplewood Flats Conservation Area is a 126 hectare (310 acre) conservation area located in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The area is composed of a 96 hectare (237 acre) intertidal zone of mudflats and salt marsh, and a 30 hectare (74 acre) upland area. It is preserved by Port Metro Vancouver as one of their ecological land initiatives. The land is located approximately 2 km east of the Second Narrows Bridge along Burrard Inlet in North Vancouver (20 minute drive from Vancouver city centre).

Burnaby Heights, often referred to as The Heights, is a residential neighbourhood in North Burnaby between Boundary Road to the west, Gamma Avenue to the east and bounded by Hastings Street to the south. The company was sold to Salomon Group in 2001 and Amer Sports in 2005. Willingdon Heights is a neighbourhood in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. It is named after a major Burnaby thoroughfare Willingdon Avenue connecting North Burnaby with Kingsway and the Metrotown area in the south. Willingdon Heights was developed significantly during construction spurred by the National Housing Act in 1944 that made mortgage money more widely available and provided joint loans for housing for veterans under the Integrated Housing Plan (IHP).

It is located in the Brentwood area of North Burnaby, at the intersection of Willingdon Avenue and Lougheed Highway, approximately 1.5 kilometres (0.9 mi) from the city of Vancouver.

Kensington Park is a large urban park in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. It is located between major roads running along its perimeter - Hastings Street, Curtis Street, Kensington Avenue and Holdom Avenue. Kensington Park is adjacent to Burnaby North Secondary School with its several sports fields, among them soccer and baseball. Kensington Arena, a neighbourhood ice rink, is at the entrance to the park. Kensington Park is mostly known for its pitch and putt facilities which attract many Burnaby golfers. Beecher Creek, one of the streams in North Burnaby, winds its way through Kensington Park.

The Thornton Tunnel is a freight railway tunnel in Burnaby, British Columbia, running under the Willingdon Heights and Vancouver Heights neighbourhoods. It was built in 1969 by Canadian National to connect Second Narrows Bridge to the main line in Willingdon, and is 3.4 km long. In the middle of the tunnel there is a ventilation building which is disguised as a house in a residential neighbourhood. It is located on the northeast corner of Frances Street and Ingleton Avenue, in Burnaby.

Brentwood Town Centre (sometimes abbreviated as Brentwood) is an elevated station on the Millennium Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located above Lougheed Highway east of Willingdon Avenue in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. The station is adjacent to the Amazing Brentwood, a mid-size shopping centre.
