Marina is a station in the Barcelona Metro and Trambesòs tram networks, at the boundary between the Eixample and Sant Martí districts of Barcelona. It is served by TMB line L1 and tram route T4. The station is named after the nearby Carrer de la Marina, and can be accessed from Carrer dels Almogàvers, and the crossing of Carrer de la Marina with the Avinguda Meridiana. It is adapted for disabled people.The metro station opened in 1933, as the terminus of an extension from Arc de Triomf station, and became a through station in 1951, when line L1 was extended to Clot station. When built, the station's platforms were located below the sidings of the former Estació del Nord railway station, and as a consequence they are now below the Parc de l'Estació del Nord that has replaced these sidings. Although the Estació del Nord itself has now been converted into a bus station and sports hall, these facilities are more easily accessed from Arc de Triomf metro station. The adjacent tram station opened in 2004.

The Catalonia College of Music (Catalan: Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, ESMUC; IPA: [əsˈkɔlə supəɾiˈo ðə ˈmuzikə ðə kətəˈluɲə]) is a music school in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The school is located at L'Auditori, a performing arts center inaugurated in 1999 which also houses three concert halls and a museum. The school has an international faculty and student body, and includes departments for classical and contemporary music, early music, jazz and popular music, traditional music, musicology and ethnomusicology, theory and composition, music education, music business, and sonology.

The Museu de la Música de Barcelona (English: Music Museum of Barcelona) is a museum in Barcelona, Spain that houses a collection of musical instruments from around the world as well as biographical documents, from ancient civilisations to new technologies from the 21st century. The museum collection comprises 2000 musical instruments, 500 of which are on display, including one of the best guitar collections of the world. The museum covers historical, conservational and research aspects and promotes the city’s musical heritage.The Museu de la Música is administered by the City Council. Since 2007 its headquarters are found on the second floor of the L'Auditori de Barcelona in the Fort Pienc neighbourhood.

L'Auditori (Catalan pronunciation: [ləwðiˈtɔɾi]) is a modern building of 42,000 square metres designed by the architect Rafael Moneo, opened on 22 March 1999, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is in the centre of the new pole of urban development of Plaça de les Glòries, which brings together the three widest and longest avenues in the city (Diagonal, Gran Via and Meridiana) near the old centre of the city, its ‘Avenue’, next to the National Theatre, Glòries junction, the opening of the Diagonal on to the sea, district 22@ and the Forum area. The building combines sober external modernity with Sala 1 Pau Casals for 2,200 spectators, Sala 2 Oriol Martorell, with 600 places and Sala 3 Tete Montoliu with 400 places. In the central access atrium, a monumental cubic glass light has been built in the shape of an impluvium, decorated with sketched paintings by Pablo Palazuelo. The acoustics of the halls has been carefully studied within the project by the specialised engineer Higini Arau. In the same musical complex, there are the centres of the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona, the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya and the Museu de la Música. This makes the Auditori a focus of musical life in the city in the different fields of divulgation, teaching and research.

Bogatell is a Barcelona Metro station located in the Bogatell neighbourhood in the district of Sant Martí, Barcelona. The station is served by L4 (yellow line). It was opened in 1977, under the name Pedro IV, with the extension of the line from Barceloneta to Selva de Mar, and only adopted its current name in 1982. It's located under Carrer de Pujade between Carrer de Zamora and Carrer de Pamplona. It can be accessed from both Carrer de Pujades and Carrer de Pere IV. There's a Bicing station nearby.

Fort Pienc (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈfɔɾ piˈɛŋ]) is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Its name stems from a former military fortification which existed there until the 19th century called Fort Pius, Pienc is an adjective in Catalan meaning related to the name Pius. There has been a strong Chinese presence in the area since the 2000s. The Arc de Triomf is the main attraction in the area, located in Passeig de Lluís Companys-Passeig de Sant Joan, while L'Auditori is an important concert hall. The National Theatre of Catalonia is another of its cultural centres, as is the General Archive of the Crown of Aragon, near Parc de l'Estació del Nord. The General Catalana de Electricidad building is a fine piece of modernisme or local art nouveau architecture. La Monumental is the only extant bullring in the city.

Razzmatazz (also known as Razz) is a nightclub and concert hall in the Poblenou neighbourhood in Barcelona, Spain. It is one of the city's biggest with a capacity of over 2,000 people in its main hall. The club is formed of five halls where different genres of music are played even though the most played are indie pop, electronic and pop music. Razzmatazz is the "evolution" of the Sala Zeleste, which closed back in 2000 due to its economic debt with the Social Security. The club is named after the song "Razzmatazz" by Pulp. The Flaming Lips were the first artist to play the venue.

Teatre Nacional de Catalunya (TNC; Catalan pronunciation: [teˈatɾə nəsi.uˈnal də kətəˈluɲə]; National Theatre of Catalonia) is a public theatre located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It was created by the Culture Department of the Catalan Government to normalize and enhance the theatre and dance in Catalan language and their creators.The building is located at Plaça de les Arts, in front of L'Auditori and near Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes and is one of the emblematic cultural facilities of Barcelona.

The Estació del Nord or Estación del Norte, is a former main line railway station in the city of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Originally opened in 1862, it was closed as a railway station in 1972. It is now used partly as a bus station, partly as a large multi-purpose sports hall, and partly as a police station. The sports hall is known as the Poliesportiu Estació del Nord, and was a 1992 Summer Olympics venue. The bus station is known as the Estació d'Autobusos Barcelona Nord, and is Barcelona's principal terminal for scheduled medium and long distance coach services.The station lies in the Fort Pienc neighbourhood of the Eixample district of Barcelona, some 1.3 kilometres (0.81 mi) from Plaça de Catalunya. The Arc de Triomf station, served by Barcelona Metro line L1 and Rodalies de Catalunya suburban trains, has an entrance directly in front of the station on Plaça d'André Malraux. The Parc de l'Estació del Nord, laid out on the site of sidings associated with the station, lies to the south-east.

El Parc i Llacuna del Poblenou is a neighborhood in the Sant Martí district of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). The cores from this area were established around several parks (Parc de l'Estació del Nord, Parc de la Ciutadella), and the road that connected with el Clot, el Poblenou and la Llacuna. Previously, the nearest park was known as Fort Pius (some entities of the region retain this reference), which extended also to some islands that are in the neighborhood of la Vila Olímpica del Poblenou.

The Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) (Spanish: Instituto Barcelona de Estudios Internacionales, English: Barcelona Institute of International Studies) is an interuniversity research institute and postgraduate education center located in Barcelona, established in 2004 as a joint initiative between the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs and five universities in the Barcelona metropolitan area (Pompeu Fabra University, University of Barcelona, Autonomous University of Barcelona, Polytechnic University of Catalonia and Open University of Catalonia), as a center of excellence in international studies. The President of the Institute is Narcís Serra, former Minister of Defense and former Vice President of Spain, and the Director is Jacint Jordana, Professor of Political Science at the Pompeu Fabra University. Students at IBEI are awarded a degree jointly by Pompeu Fabra University, the University of Barcelona and the Autonomous University of Barcelona. All master programmes are taught in English, and the Master in International Relations has an English-Spanish bilingual version. IBEI also hosts the Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Public Policy. IBEI is an affiliate member of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA). IBEI's masters are accredited as official university master's degrees. Students are mostly from abroad; every year students from more than 40 countries are admitted. A high level of internationalization of IBEI academic programmes has been recognized by the distinctive mention International Master's Program (IMP2013) granted by the Generalitat de Catalonia for the Master in International Relations. IBEI has experienced a steady increase in the affluence of students. More than 150 students are currently enrolled in its master programmes. Several professors from universities in Barcelona and from around the world complete the teaching staff. The Institute has developed a scientific production that focuses on the relationship between domestic affairs and the international dimension into four major areas: Global Governance, Networks and Institutions in a Globalized Economy, Development and Security, and Power and Multilateralism in a Global World. IBEI is currently one of the focal points at European level in the field of Political Science and International Affairs.

The Museu del Disseny de Barcelona (Catalan, English: "Barcelona Design Museum"), is a center for Barcelona's Institute of Culture, which works to promote better understanding and good use of the design world, acting as a museum and laboratory. It focuses on 4 branches or design disciplines: space design, product design, information design and fashion. The Museum is the result of the merging of several previous existing museums, such as the Museu de les Arts Decoratives, the Museu Tèxtil i d'Indumentària and the Gabinet de les Arts Gràfiques collection. The opening of the new headquarters, located on Plaça de les Glòries, next to Torre Agbar, was set gradually during 2014.
