Albemarle Gallery was an art gallery located in Mayfair, London. The gallery opened in 1986 and featured figurative to hyper-realist artwork by local and international contemporary painters and sculptors. This gallery closed in 1993.

Thomas Agnew & Sons is a fine arts dealer in London that began life as part of in a print and publishing partnership with Vittore Zanetti in Manchester in 1817 which ended in 1835, when Agnew took full control of the company. The firm opened its London gallery in 1860, where it soon established itself as one of Mayfair's leading dealerships. Since then Agnew's has held a pre-eminent position in the world of Old Master paintings. It also had a major role in the massive growth of a market for contemporary British art in the late 19th century. In 2013, after nearly two centuries of family ownership, Agnew's closed. The name was subsequently purchased privately and the gallery is now run by Lord Anthony Crichton-Stuart, a former head of Christie's Old Master paintings department, New York.

Gymkhana (/'ʤɪmˈkɑːnə/) is a two-Michelin-star restaurant in Mayfair, London. Opened in 2013, the restaurant earned its first star one year later, followed by a second star in 2024. The name is taken from the Indian social and sports clubs of the same name. Known for its classic, largely North Indian cuisine, the restaurant was named National Restaurant of the Year 2014 and has since launched a retail brand, Gymkhana Fine Foods, and opened internationally.

The Stafford Gallery was an early 20th-century art gallery in London. Artists whose works were exhibited there include both internationally known painters such as Pablo Picasso, Paul Gauguin, Paul Cézanne and Gustave Courbet and significant English figures such as Walter Sickert and Sir William Nicholson. The gallery opened in the early years of the century at 34 Old Bond Street, London W., on the corner with Stafford Street; but by 1910 had moved to 1 Duke Street, St. James's.

Clarendon House was a town mansion which stood on Piccadilly in London, England, from the 1660s to the 1680s. It was built for the powerful politician Edward Hyde, 1st Earl of Clarendon, and was the grandest private London residence of its era.

The Jubilee Line Extension (JLE) is the extension of the London Underground Jubilee line from Green Park to Stratford through south and east London. An eastward extension of the line was first proposed in the 1970s. As part of the development of London Docklands, the line was extended to serve Canary Wharf and other areas of south and east London. Construction began in 1993, and it opened in stages from May to December 1999.

The Royal Arcade, in the upscale shopping district of Mayfair, London is an historic Victorian era shopping arcade that runs from 12 Albemarle Street to 28 Old Bond Street. Completed in 1880, it was designed by architects Archer & Green and is Grade II listed.

Mahiki is a London nightclub and bar in Dover Street, just off Piccadilly, near the Ritz Hotel, well known for its celebrity clientele. It is named after the Polynesian path to the underworld. Mahiki was opened in October 2006 by Piers Adam and Nick House. The club has attracted media attention as a favourite haunt of royals including Princes William and Harry and celebrities such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Kelly Rowland, and Paris Hilton. Its themed Thursday nights, hosted by Henry Conway, a socialite, were particularly popular, and rival club owner Charlie Gilkes has said "Thursday nights at Mahiki ... are the night in London, there are queues going round the block."

The Wolseley is a restaurant located at 160 Piccadilly in London, England, next to the Ritz Hotel. Designed by the architect William Curtis Green, the Grade II* listed building was erected by Wolseley Motors in 1921 as their regional offices with a ground floor showroom. The ground floor was occupied by a branch of Barclays Bank between 1927 and 1999. It was a Chinese restaurant for a couple of years then reopened in 2003 as an upscale European restaurant after renovation by British restaurateurs Chris Corbin and Jeremy King.

The Piccadilly Gallery was an art gallery which operated from a number of addresses in London between 1953 and 2007. It was originally founded as the Pilkington Gallery in 1953 by Eve Pilkington and her late husband Godfrey Pilkington, with a focus on exhibiting the works of figurative artists in the styles of Art Nouveau and 19th and 20th Century Symbolism. In 1954 they were joined by Christabel Briggs. In 2007, following the passing of co-founder Godfrey Pilkington, the gallery closed their public store front. The gallery operated from a number of West End addresses, first from bomb-damaged premises in the Piccadilly Arcade, and then on to 16a Cork Street in 1954. In 1978 they moved next door to No.16 Cork Street, and in 1999 the gallery temporarily moved to Dover Street.They promoted the artists Adrian Berg as well as Max Beerbohm, Gwen John, Eric Gill and William Roberts as well as hosting major exhibitions of Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele and the German Neue Sachlichkeit.Listings of the gallery's exhibitions and correspondences are held by the Tate.
