Alcúdia (Catalan pronunciation: [əlˈku.ði(ə)]) is a municipality and township of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It is the main tourist centre in the north of Mallorca on the eastern coast. It is a large resort popular with tourists. Most of the hotels are located in Port d'Alcúdia and Platja d'Alcúdia, along the 14 km-long (8.7 mi) beach that stretches all the way to Ca'n Picafort. In Alcúdia, the old town is well preserved with houses dating back to the 13th century. The old town is surrounded by a medieval wall.

Pollentia (Catalan: Pol·lèntia) was a Roman city founded by Quintus Caecilius Metellus Balearicus in the present city of Alcúdia, allegedly in the year 123 BC. The first documented remains belong, however, to the first half of the 1st century BC. This had led the researchers to establish the possibility of the creation of a castra (military camp) by the military expedition that, a generation later, would result in the current city of Pollentia.

With 8 swimming pools and 17 apartment blocks the complex is set in 150,000 square meters of gardens. Its sister hotel the BelleVue Lagomonte is also located in Port d'Alcúdia.

The Port of Alcudia is a port facility in the town of Alcudia in northern Mallorca, Spain. It handles primarily passenger ferries, but also some bulk and breakbulk cargo and a dolphin berth for LPG carriers. It has ferry services to Menorca, Barcelona as well as Toulon in France.

Cap de Formentor is connected to Port de Pollença via a 13.5 km road.

S'Albufera de Mallorca is a nature preserve on the Balearic island of Mallorca. The preserve contains the largest and most important wetland of the Balearic islands. The wetland was formed out of an ancient lagoon, separated from the sea by a series of dunes, which most of all due to human influence has been filled by sediments by now. The natural preserve comprises now 1708 hectares.

Fonts Ufanes is an intermittent spring located near the Sant Miquel hermitage, in Campanet municipality of the north of Majorca. The underground water flows from the mountains (Puig Tomir) to Sant Miquel stream, which l'Albufera is the base level. This spring is the main source of water of l'Albufera, an important natural reserve of the Balearic Islands.
