The University of California Davis School of Medicine is the medical school of the University of California, Davis. Although the parent institution is near Davis, California, the medical school is in Sacramento, California.

The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at the University of California, Davis was established in March 2009. The school was launched through a $100 million commitment from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the nation's largest grant for nursing education. The vision of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing is to transform health care through nursing education and research. The school currently offers two degrees, the Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science in Nursing Science and Health-Care Leadership. Additional programs will be phased in over the next decade. The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing is part of UC Davis Health, an integrated academic health system encompassing the UC Davis School of Medicine, the 613-acute-care hospital and clinical services of UC Davis Medical Center and the 800-member physician group known as the UC Davis Medical Group. The school, located in Sacramento, California, is the fourth professional nursing program in the University of California system. The UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center is one of two cancer centers in Northern California designated by the federal government's National Cancer Institute for its ability to contribute to the nation's cancer research and serve as a major source of new knowledge on cancer treatment, diagnosis and prevention. It was founded in 1991 and received its NCI designation in 2002, and was promoted to "comprehensive" status in 2012. It is part of the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. The center offers patients access to more than 150 clinical trials at any given time through a research program that includes more than 280 scientists. It was the first major cancer center to establish a formal research partnership with a national laboratory. The research programs at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center include biomedical technology, molecular oncology, comparative oncology, cancer therapeutics, prostate cancer, and cancer health disparities and population science. UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center receives more than $100 million in research funding annually.The clinical center was opened in 2000. It encompasses 110,000 square feet and treats about 90,000 cancer patients annually.The UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center is a member of the California Cancer Consortium and Association of American Cancer Institutes.

Dunlap's Dining Room was a restaurant operated out of the residence of black entrepreneur George T. Dunlap in Sacramento, California. The business was popular in its time and building is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

UC Davis Medical Center is part of UC Davis Health and a major academic health center located in Sacramento, California. It is owned and operated by the University of California as part of its University of California, Davis campus. The medical center sits on a 142-acre (57 ha) campus (often referred to as the Sacramento Campus to distinguish it from the main campus in nearby Davis) located between the Elmhurst, Tahoe Park, and Oak Park residential neighborhoods. The site incorporates the land and some of the buildings of the former Sacramento Medical Center (which was acquired from the County of Sacramento in 1973) as well as much of the land (and two buildings) previously occupied by the California State Fair until its 1967 move to a new location. 48th Street is a side platformed Sacramento RT light rail station in the Elmherst neighborhood of Sacramento, California, United States. The station was opened on July 14, 1994, and is operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. It is served by the Gold Line. The station is located near the intersection of 48th Street and Highway 50. Included originally as part of the network, both this and the 39th Street station were deferred and not constructed in 1987 due to intense neighborhood opposition. However, both would open as infill stations in July 1994 due to a shift in attitude towards the rail project following its successful opening from the surrounding neighborhoods.

East Lawn Memorial Park is a cemetery in East Sacramento, California. It is owned by East Lawn Memorial Parks & Mortuaries, which also owns two other Sacramento area cemeteries. Founded in 1904, it is the resting place of several former Mayors of Sacramento as well as other public figures.

The Julia Morgan House is a Mediterranean Revival mansion, located in the Elmhurst neighborhood of Sacramento, California, constructed by Julia Morgan, the first woman licensed to practice architecture in California. The home, now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was gifted to Sacramento State University by Charles Goethe after his death in 1966.
