Takushoku University (拓殖 大学; Takushoku Daigaku, abbreviated as 拓大 Takudai) is a private university in Japan. It was founded in 1900 by Duke Taro Katsura (1848–1913). It is in Tokyo and has two campuses: the main campus in the Bunkyō district and a satellite campus in Hachiōji city. Takushoku University has five faculties: Commerce, Political Science and Economics, Foreign Languages, International Studies, and Engineering.Takushoku University is a leading university of security studies in Japan. The current chancellor is a former Minister of Defense, Satoshi Morimoto. Past chancellors include former prime ministers, such as Taro Katsura and Yasuhiro Nakasone.

Teisei Gakuen Junior College (貞静学園短期大学, Teisei Gakuen Tanki Daigaku) is a junior college in Tokyo, Japan, and is part of the Teisei Gakuen network. The institute was founded in 1930 by Maki Takahashi, developed as a Junior College in 2009.

Ochanomizu University (お茶の水女子大学, Ochanomizu Joshi Daigaku) is a women's university in the Ōtsuka neighborhood of Bunkyō-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Ochanomizu University is one of the top national universities in Japan. "Ochanomizu" is the name of a Tokyo neighborhood where the university was founded.

The Koishikawa Annex, The University Museum, The University of Tokyo (東京大学総合研究博物館 小石川分館, Tōkyō-daigaku sōgō kenkyū hakubutsukan Koishikawa bunkan) is a museum located in Hakusan Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. It is the oldest building of the University of Tokyo, and is open to general public as the annex of The University Museum. It was formerly used as a medical school. As collection, there are the natural history specimen collections, the animal specimen collection of Chartering foreigner teacher E Morse's immediate pupils, the art and science specimen collection of Prof. Mitake Hide, member of the engineering model of Kōbushō Kōgakuryō. Many bronze statues of Tokyo University professors exist in this building.

Hatoyama Hall (鳩山会館, Hatoyama Kaikan), also known as the Otowa Palace (音羽御殿, Otowa Goten), is a Western-style residence in Bunkyō, Tokyo commissioned in 1924 by Ichirō Hatoyama, and it was here that he helped form the present Liberal Democratic Party. The house and gardens are in the process of evolving into a museum commemorating the Hatoyama family's contributions to politics and education in Japan.The building's architect was Okada Shin'ichi, who also designed the Kabuki-za. The facade is composed of three bays in natural stone, with large French windows on the ground floor. On the first floor, the windows and doors fill the entire width of the building; the doors open inwards and there are narrow, French-style balconies.There are currently three memorial rooms open to the public, one dedicated to Ichiro, another to his wife Kaoru, and yet another to their son, Iichiro Hatoyama. In addition, the garden features sculptures of Kazuo Hatoyama and his wife, Haruko.

The Koishikawa Botanical Garden (小石川植物園, Koishikawa Shokubutsuen, 40 acres, 16 hectares) is a botanical garden with an arboretum operated by the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Science. They are located at 3-7-1 Hakusan, Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan, and open daily except Mondays; an admission fee is charged.

Koishikawa (小石川) is a district of Bunkyo, Tokyo. It consists of five sub-areas, 1-5 chome (1~5丁目). In Koishikawa are located two well regarded gardens: the Koishikawa Botanical Garden (operated by the University of Tokyo) in Hakusan, and the Koishikawa Korakuen Garden in Kōraku. Train stations for accessing this locality include Hakusan Station (白山駅, Hakusan-eki), Kōrakuen Station (後楽園駅, Kōrakuen-eki), Kasuga Station (春日駅, Kasuga-eki), and Myōgadani Station. The Koishikawa arsenal was an important military installation during the Meiji era.

The Printing Museum (Japanese: 印刷博物館) is a museum in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, Japan. It is dedicated to the history and techniques of printing, and is located in the head office building of Toppan Printing.

Gokokuji Station (護国寺駅, Gokokuji-eki) is a subway station in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan, operated by Tokyo Metro. Its station number is Y-11. The station opened on 30 October 1974. The station was named after a nearby Buddhist temple of the same name.

Otsuka Confucian Cemetery (大塚先儒墓所, Ōtsuka senju bosho) is a cemetery located in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan containing the graves of a number of noted Confucian scholars from the Edo Period. It was designated a National Historic Site in 1921.
