Koishikawa Botanical Garden

The Koishikawa Annex, The University Museum, The University of Tokyo (東京大学総合研究博物館 小石川分館, Tōkyō-daigaku sōgō kenkyū hakubutsukan Koishikawa bunkan) is a museum located in Hakusan Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. It is the oldest building of the University of Tokyo, and is open to general public as the annex of The University Museum. It was formerly used as a medical school. As collection, there are the natural history specimen collections, the animal specimen collection of Chartering foreigner teacher E Morse's immediate pupils, the art and science specimen collection of Prof. Mitake Hide, member of the engineering model of Kōbushō Kōgakuryō. Many bronze statues of Tokyo University professors exist in this building.

Koishikawa (小石川) is a district of Bunkyo, Tokyo. It consists of five sub-areas, 1-5 chome (1~5丁目). In Koishikawa are located two well regarded gardens: the Koishikawa Botanical Garden (operated by the University of Tokyo) in Hakusan, and the Koishikawa Korakuen Garden in Kōraku. Train stations for accessing this locality include Hakusan Station (白山駅, Hakusan-eki), Kōrakuen Station (後楽園駅, Kōrakuen-eki), Kasuga Station (春日駅, Kasuga-eki), and Myōgadani Station. The Koishikawa arsenal was an important military installation during the Meiji era.

Isenoumi stable (伊勢ノ海部屋, Isenoumi-beya) is a stable of sumo wrestlers, part of the Tokitsukaze ichimon or group of stables. Its current head coach is former maegashira Kitakachidoki. As of January 2022 it had 12 wrestlers.

Bunkyō (文京区, Bunkyō-ku) is a special ward located in Tokyo, Japan. Situated in the middle of the ward area, Bunkyō is a residential and educational center. Beginning in the Meiji period, literati like Natsume Sōseki, as well as scholars and politicians have lived there. Bunkyō is home to the Tokyo Dome, Judo's Kōdōkan, and the University of Tokyo's Hongo Campus. Bunkyō has a sister-city relationship with Kaiserslautern in the Rhineland-Palatinate of Germany.It was formed in 1947 as a merger of Hongo and Koishikawa wards following Tokyo City's transformation into Tokyo Metropolis. The modern Bunkyo ward exhibits contrasting Shitamachi and Yamanote geographical and cultural division. The Nezu and Sendagi neighborhoods in the ward's eastern corner is attached to the Shitamachi area in Ueno with more traditional Japanese atmosphere. On the other hand, the remaining areas of the ward typically represent Yamanote districts.As of May 1, 2015, the ward has a population of 217,743 (including about 6,500 foreign residents), and a population density of 19,290 persons per km². The total area is 11.29 km².

Tokyo Metropolitan Hibiya High School (東京都立日比谷高等学校, Tōkyō Toritsu Hibiya Kōtōgakkō) is a Japanese high school founded in 1878 as the Tokyo First Middle School or Tokyo First Junior High School (東京府立第一中学校, Tōkyō Furitsu Daiichi Chūgakkō). It was well known in the 1950s and 1960s for the large proportion of graduates who gained admission to the prestigious University of Tokyo; though it suffered a decline in the 1970s, as of 2005 it was once again being referred to as the "best public high school in Japan". Although Japanese law prohibits the hiring of non-Japanese-citizens as teachers, there's one full-time Russian native speaker teacher.

Teisei Gakuen Junior College (貞静学園短期大学, Teisei Gakuen Tanki Daigaku) is a junior college in Tokyo, Japan, and is part of the Teisei Gakuen network. The institute was founded in 1930 by Maki Takahashi, developed as a Junior College in 2009.
